I think that Manchester City - Atletico Madrid can be an interesting draw too. Because Atletico Madrid started to improve their performance recently and they are in a lot better condition these days. Their position in the La Liga is not the best for them but their performance there lately has been impressive. And in the Champions League, they are doing a great work too. Manchester City are still the absolute favourite team to advance maybe but they absolutely shouldn't underrate their opponent. In the other case, things can be more difficult for them.

No doubt with their game against Manchester United and having very good fight back in La Liga now they are big threat for any team with their tight defense tactics and having very good attack as well now we can watch another very interesting competition after we have very entertaining in last round between Real Madrid vs PSG where mostly peoples were having feeling that PSG will throughout Real Madrid but at the end in just ten minutes all things changed very dramatically for Real Madrid same can happen here with Manchester City because they also have luck like PSG.

Maybe a bit different for Chelsea. In the past, they played enjoy without the pressure because they haven't the trophy, but now they have the burden as defending champion, I'm not sure they play loose even as host on 7th April. Real Madrid looks on fire and Benzema's performance is still very good, but Ancelotti sometimes is playing too defensive where is the possible draw or loss with 1 different goal.

Believe it or not, I feel like they didn't feel the pressure last year neither. I mean of course they wanted to win, but they were constantly seen as underdogs along the way against most teams. Which resulted with them not being favorites and not having that pressure and if they lost, people would have probably said "figures!" and leave it at that.

In the end, they are much better this year and they do have that pressure this year basically but people still see them as not the favorites, and that is why they have the same type of relax mentality or should have. I mean how many teams have won it twice in a row? Not that many and that is why it would be alright if they lost.

Chelsea vs Real Madrid seems like a weak draw on paper, but I think it will be a tough one when they face off. Villarreal vs Bayern Munich seems easy to me on paper, but I think it will be challenging when they face off. I respect all the qualified teams in the next round of the Champions League. In my opinion, any team can beat any other. You are not prepared to be a champion if you are afraid to face any team at this stage of the competition.

On the paper Bayern and Liverpool obviously the favourite especially for Bayern that since group stage they were unbeatable and if there is no other factors such as injured players then Bayern should be can beat Villareal but they have to carefull that Villareal seems can be considers as mediocre team which is very troublesome for the big team although they are not the favourite but Villareal can successfully elimination big team Juventus

Chelsea are the favourites, and rightly so, but Real have experience and streetsmarts. Way too much of both to be affected by the El Clasico sidequest.

I don't think real Madrid performance in the El Classico should make Chelsea feel more confident that they are going against a weak side. My expectation from the Chelsea - Real Madrid draw is that Real Madrid can move Chelsea out of this tournament this time. They had a bad experience against Chelsea last season. I don't think that the history will repeat itself here. We are all seeing a much stronger Real Madrid in this season until this point. We all saw how they destroyed PSG despite being in a bad situation first. And I don't see the same Chelsea in this season. I don't feel like they can eliminate Real Madrid once again by this level of performance.

Real Madrid has been lost in El Classico Laliga. Will it also give influence to the mental of the players? Although maybe they purposely did not play hard because they want to save their power to play against Chelsea.

no wonder to see it all. because the Premier League is the most competitive league at the moment. how the teams compete fiercely to be at the top. In contrast to other leagues which for decades may be dominated by one or two teams as champions.

@Magicalking Real Madrid ain’t a weak opponent and Chelsea would not be taking any chances by underestimating them, hence I have a strong feeling that it’ll a game with lots of goals in it. Also it’s too early too say which team has an advantage, because if their key player’s get injured then both teams will be vulnerable, hence let’s wait till we get closer to this fixture before considering wagering on either side.

Yes and also, even though Spain or La Liga have three representatives including Madrid, Atletico and Villarreal but at this moment it seems representatives from England or the EPL promise better results. I don't care about Bayern Munich, which is still available in the quarter-finals, because I really believe it looks like the final will bring together teams from England again like the previous season where the final match was Chelsea v Manchester City. I think that the matches are going to be quite competitive because there is a reason why these teams have qualified this far into the tournament. But, I really don't think there will be many surprises. If anything I think in my opinion Chelsea is going to win the match against Real Madrid but that match could go either way. I don't say Liverpool having any problems and also not Bayern Munich.

I agree with you that the matches will be very competitive, all the teams deserved their place in the top 8! That's why I think there will be at least one surprise! The favorites are still the favorites for a reason, stronger teams with bigger pockets for expensive players, experience in tournament finals, etc! But we must not underestimate Atletico, Benfica and Villarreal! On paper, they are certainly weaker than their opponents, but they have also shown that they can cope with pressure and against those stronger than themselves, so maybe some of them will surprise us all! I wish Atletico to be that one!

And I definitely agree that in the Real vs Chealse game anything can happen, it will be a clash of the titans, every mistake can cost and the team can fall out because of making one! Well, this is not exactly news. English teams are dominating already for quite some time. 2 out of the last 3 years they even won the Champions League. This year the title will go with a pretty high probability to England again. I only see Bayern Munich with a chance to beat them. A final between Bayern and nay of the English teams is probably the best we can hope for this year
