Yes, i just heard this news yesterday and you can say its both good and bad news for the Pakistan. Good in the sense that they will be playing with a relatively low strength team which makes their chances of winning bright but at the same time if Pakistan still lose the series, then people will more blame them as they are unable to win from B England team.

Yesterday I made an early bet on Pakistan team after hearing that news. Odds was favorable for Pakistan but now it look like I made a mistake. Most probably Pakistan going to loss the match today. Yeah, they are unpredictable and yes they are playing on seaming pitches which usually Asian teams are not used to since spin is what they are usually better at. Still, I feel like against an England side that is making so many changes people expected better from the Pakistan side in the 1st ODI.

One thing I feel the Pakistan team needs to work on is finding a glue player in the middle order. A glue player according to me is someone who can deny bowlers at times when the team is crumbling. You will find such a glue player in almost every top team like Australia, India, New Zealand and England themselves have one.

I was watching the match between Pakistan women's and West Indies women's team. Pakistan women lost all their wickets in 42.4 overs and scored only 120 runs. Very little collection. The West Indies women's team will win easily.

Women's cricket in Pakistan is not much developed. There is a limited number of domestic players to select from, and as far as I know there is no organized domestic tournament for women players. The PCB is also not much interested in developing the women's game. Currently Pakistan is placed at no.7 in ICC rankings for women, just ahead of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Realistically Pakistan would be hoping to get at least one win from the series, so they will receive 10 points in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League. I was looking at some stats and saw that Pakistan lost their last 9 ODI series in England when playing against England. England lost all their wickets and managed to score 247 runs, and for a win against this squad of Pakistan, I think this collection is enough. Pakistan has already lost 2 wickets. Collecting 25 runs in just 5 overs, Pakistan lost two valuable wickets, Imam ul Haque and Babar Azam. I don't see the possibility of Pakistan winning at the moment. Because Pakistan expected a big collection from Babar Azam to win this match. I think Pakistan will be able to collect a maximum of 170 runs.

No need to waste time by watching this match now. I thought Pakistan would show better performance but it seems Pakistan team is losing the momentum.
If this continues like this, i am afraid Pakistan team will be considered like Srilanka and south Africa where the situation of cricket is getting worse day by day.

Pakistan surprised me as well when they scored 195 runs in the end when they were 118 runs and lost 7 wickets but they could somehow drag the match for the fans and tested their patience as well  .
Bowlers did their job but the batsman is not capable of chasing 247 runs, no one should expect any upset in this series.

The play from England players is good, because if one fails to perform the next player does it good taking responsibility of the match to be won. In this way England have won the previous series and this series. 247 runs can be chased, because it has got a good list of batsmen than bowlers.

So after losing the series Pakistan will now try to save its face by winning the last match (I still doubt though). Unbelievable batting by the Pakistani team, I think they have the impression that they are playing a T20 match and not ODI. They are getting ready for the T20 WorldCup I guess. The Pakistani bowlers did their job by restricting the English below 250 which could have been easily achieved by the Pakistani team, this shows how inconsistent this team has become now.

LOL.. another heavy defeat for Pakistan. And remember that this is against an England squad that is lacking most of the big names. Players such as Phil Salt, James Vince and Lewis Gregory would struggle to get an inclusion if the regular players are available. On the other hand Pakistan went to England with their full strength squad. Even before the start of this series, England was on top of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League. Now they have further increased the gap, with 85 points from 14 matches.
