Wait, why should the cricketers be punished because of some terrorists? I cannot and absolutely will not agree with this statement of yours. And tell me this why does finding the cricket team gives legitimacy to The terrorists? Everyone is not a terrorist .

I'm not in favor of any kind of ban-politics of ICC in cricket, if any country wants to boycott Afghanistan team due to regime change then they can do this in bilateral level, its their right to do so. However counter argument to your comment would be. What was the South African players fault when they faced a ban from the ICC due to racial tension in their country? What was Zimbabwean cricketer's fault when their government tried to take complete control of their cricket?

That is actually true and for some reason, I think some rules in ICC are just shit. Just like the Duckworth Lewis rules. I don't think any team should be banned unless there are some serious crimes or something like that.

This is very good decision from ICC because currently they need some good gesture for spreading this cricket around the globe if they ban Afghanistan then it's surely hurting this game very badly few very talented players from this country are doing good and can play good role for more adoption in this war hit country.
Currently, we are already losing some good support in West Indies and have not good enough in some more countries which is not good, but this is perfect decision from the governing body.

The legitimacy given by ICC means that the Taliban controlled cricket board will continue to receive close to $8 million per year in funds from the ICC, and I have no doubt that a large part of it will be diverted for terrorism. If that happens, then the ICC will be held accountable. The rules must be uniform for everyone. If they can ban South Africa for apartheid, then why not Taliban?

I don't think that this money will go to some terrorist organization or will be used for any terrorist work. But even though I am a big supporter of Afghanistan cricket, I still think that the money would have been a little less. I am not in support of banning the Afghanistan board because they have some world-class cricketers.

Yes, I do think that this is a good decision by ICC and maybe banning the agonist and cricket board could have resulted in Afghanistan not playing cricket for a long time. I am happy that world-class players in Afghanistan will still get paid and still be able to play cricket.

I checked the scoreboard of the match. The Netherlands need 83 runs in 38 balls to win. And the Netherlands lost 6 wickets. There is no chance of their winning at this moment. While Babette and Kalis batted brilliantly, other batsmen has failed to stay on the crease for long. That is why the Netherlands will be defeated.

The earliest opportunity will be Brisbane 2032, where the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) has the right to add a limited number of sports disciplines from their quota.

The target of 280 runs in women's cricket is a very big target. I have seen very few teams win by batting for 270/280 runs. Yet the Netherlands batsmen batted well enough in the beginning. If the middle order batsmen could bat a little better, the Netherlands would have a chance to win.

Adding associate teams to increase no of teams may be good to gain financial benefits but very little these associate team contribute to cricket. If you see recent T20 WC apart from Afghanistan there is no associate team that has shown healthy performance.
As far as CT 2025 is concerned, I think India has to take part as we have seen Pakistan visiting India for WC 2011 but anything is possible.

ICC decision came after new ruling party assured that woman are allowed to play cricket in Afghanistan. In recent T20 WC performance of Afghanistan is better then Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and WI. They rightly deserve the test playing status, as there are many players lined up in there country that can take cricket to next level.

If there is no new political anarchy between India and Pakistan before 2025, then maybe India will go to Pakistan. The Government of India must be consulted before making any decision on BCCI. The whole matter now depends on the decision of the Government of India. Moreover, looking at the behavior of the players of both the teams in the India-Pakistan match, I think there is no problem for the Indian players to go and play in Pakistan.

Under the current ruling alliance (NDA), it is never going to happen. But it looks like in 2024 Mamata Banerjee's TMC will come to power and she is regarded by many as friendly towards Pakistan. In that case, there is a good chance that sporting (at least cricketing) relations between India and Pakistan may resume. There will be changes in the BCCI management as well. Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah are considered to be NDA appointees and they may be replaced with nominees from the Pawar-Srinivasan camp.
