^ I think the main problem of Bangladesh is not having any wrist spinner. Because anyone or any finger spinner can do good in spinning tracks but on flat surfaces, finger spinners are kind of useless because they don't often have too many variations like that is spinners. Bangladesh needs to get some wrist spinners in their team if they want to do good in bigger stages and especially in T20.

Currently, mostly countries facing due to very weak domestic system they are not funding like we have in Australia, England and India its biggest threat to their international exposure. It needs some good investment which is not coming, so they have serious ups and downs in their International forms as well all countries need to have some good and quality domestic system which give some good confidence to their players for all situations Australian really investing some good, so they are having some good benefits from this in all formats recently we have some good in India as well but still need time for having good results. In Asia, we have no good country who can spend and in this way.
That may be one reason why Bangladesh and Sri lanka teams are down and out these days. But we will not see any support from big 3 for such small boards. PCB for instance, is undergoing huge financial crisis but recently NZ and ECB cancelled there tours despite knowing this financial crisis. Small boards have to do themselves to uplift there teams, don't expect anything from ICC or from big 3.

In Asia, except for India, I think most countries' economies are struggling and they have bigger problems to solve and that's why cricket comes later in their mind. And also the politics in the cricket board has big effects on the team. Because I have seen in Bangladesh domestic cricket that the team which has more powerful owner wins against the team having low budget. And it causes a big mental effect on the players as they know that there is no point playing this game because they are going to lose.

I agree that the ICC fund distribution is not being done in a fair manner. It is being done in a way to make rich boards richer and poor boards poorer. For the 2015-23 cycle, the BCCI (richest board in the world) will receive almost 5 times the funds when compared to the poorest boards like Ireland and Afghanistan. But it is till an improvement. During the Pawar/Srinivasan era, the BCCI used to receive 50 times the funds when compared to Cricket Ireland. They are yet to decide on the distribution model for 2024-32, but I hope that it will be done in an unbiased manner.

India is major contributor for ICC funds and major beneficiary also. ICC matters are mostly decided by Big3 boards. Now due to IPL, BCCI has more control over small boards and ICC. As far as 2024-32 distribution model is concerned I don't think it will different from 2015-23 model. Rich boards will become more rich.

Bangladesh cricket team has lots of problem not just that absence of wrist spinner. Despite having so much craze of cricket, Bangladesh failed to impress cricket with its performance in all formats. Even after 20 years of getting test status there win against a major team is still considered as an upset. I am not expecting much from Bangladesh in current T20 and Test series against Pakistan.

So its nothing new that in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri lanka cricket is not getting due attention of authorities and politics have major influence over the game. Cricket teams of Sri lanka and Bangladesh need quick repair else they may lose there test status.

When the people in power are corrupt, The team cannot prosper. Have you ever wondered why Soumya Sarkar is still on the team? Yes, I will let you guys find that out and I am not even talking about Muhammad Mithun.

The BCCI just received $2 billion or so (almost equal to the 8 year budget of the ICC) from auctioning two franchises. I guess now they can agree to an equal share of the ICC revenues. What difference does $15 million per year in additional funds will make for them? On the other hand, if this amount is distributed among 15 associate sides, then we will have cricket as a truly global sport in some years from now. IMO, all the full members should be receiving equal amounts from the ICC. That is not the case now, since the BCCI receive $50 million per year and Ireland receive $6 million.

I have a breaking and a sort of sad news for the cricket lovers who loved to see AB de Villiers. He has announced his retirement from all cricket means that he will not be playing in IPL or any other match. https://twitter.com/ESPNcricinfo/status/1461591610496413697

When ab devillers plays the whole match becomes highlights. Some players will never be forgotten in the history of cricket and Abraham Benjamin de Villiers is one of them. There are 3 types of batsmen, Right hander, Left hander and AB De Villiers

Yes I have also seen this news and it honestly made me sad but when I heard that everybody else returned from the international arena I thought he could play some more cricket for the South African cricket team. But he's a legend of this game and will be remembered for a long time. Thank you Mr 360.

Your point is good but still in Pakistan we have some very good talent, and they are coming out despite many internal and external issues and many players done outstanding performance even recently very long time they are completely out of home with terror attacks but still cricket is having some big impact here. In Bangladesh and Sri Lanka case they are serious losing cricket attraction because of very poor management and talent hunt programs which are very important Sri Lanka also done good, but recently they are also having very serious issues on and off the field which are hurting them hopefully they will come out from them. But, in case of Bangladesh their system is really poor and in last 20 years they are completely failed to give any big surprise even they are doing down very quickly which is worst for their development because with this all they completely fail to attract economical strong investments which hurt them.

I have a different prespective on that. If we talk about Ireland it's a much developed country with infrastructure of football and other sports already there. But if we see country like Afghanistan or alike there is hardly any infrastructure there. Such factors must also be kept in mind while distributing funds to associate teams.

Because ultimately the money will be balanced between ICC and BCCI regardless of the amount. But I am sure that India will make videos of that money and thus we will see a far stronger Indian squad in the future.

So two more teams in IPL means more matches, this will disturb the schedule of international cricket as whole world is playing IPL. Recently we heard that main reason of Indian cricket team bad performance in T20 WC is too much cricket in the form of IPL. BCCI is preferring money over enhancing the performance of Indian cricket team.

Well this is already huge and with two more teams in the IPL I think it will not become more intersting again as mor players from around the world can participate and with 10 teams now tournament will be much more longer and with more matches also means more income for BCCI, and I really hope this is used for thr betterment of indian cricket
Too much cricket can be a reason but none of the players wants to miss IPL and neither does BCCI. Two more teams mean more chances for new and upcoming talent and $2 billion earning for BCCI. In the recent T20 with the NZ the team has performed exceptionally well under the new captain, which also proves that the leadership in the WC was not so competent.
