The second ODI between these two teams will be played today. South Africa is already leading the series with the win in the first ODI. The English bowlers were helpless when van der Dussen started hitting them to score 111 runs. The English batter except Roy and Malan were all out after scoring cheap runs. Today's match would be important for the English team if they want to still remain in the series.

South Africa has won the toss and they have decided to bowl first. Its the same pitch where first ODI was played and South Africa won by batting first. In first ODI SA decided to bat first after winning the toss but today they made opposite decision.
To me Jason Roy century was more entertaining then Rassie van der Dussen century since Roy took only 91 balls to score 113 runs with 4 sixes. Both teams are of equal strength in ODI and it can be anyone game today.

England team lost two wickets and the team is under a lot of pressure.  Roy and Malan these two batsmen are out.  Their performance in the first match was very good and scored huge runs for the team.  But in today's match, Roy collected 9 runs from 19 balls and Malan collected 12 runs from 15 balls.  The fall of this wicket today affects the team.  If English cricket players can score 350 runs in today's game then there is definitely a chance for England to win.  Meanwhile, South Africa's bowling performance is so good that the English cricket players are not able to press the field.  However, the performance of both teams in today's game should be improved in order to win.

Somehow after 6 wickets and 46 overs England managed to collect decent scores of 280 runs with run rate of 6.
This is some sensible batting from England but with this pace and run rate they will give a normal but good target of 300 to South Africa.
Now South Africa has to bat efficiently to win this match which is not difficult for them as they scored same runs in last ODI.

England starting batter didn't score much in starting over to build a strong partnership as a result the upcoming batter got pressurized and didn't score some decent runs, harrey brook the young blood perform in previous and now too, he build  partnership but it didn't go to long and he goes out on 80 now england has 292 runs while 6 player down in  46 over, while the only hope who can help his team to build a big target is Jos Buttler which are still on a crease with 77 not out. It's not a big target I think they will score 330 around in this remaining overs which will be difficult to defend against South African batter.

The comeback from England is much needed as SA has already taken a 1-0 lead. Buttler, Brook, and Moeen provided England with an imposing total despite struggling to get runs to start. An impressive captain knocked by Jos Butler but missed out on a well-deserved hundred. A total of 64 runs has been scored by South Africa in ten overs without losing any wickets. As both De Cock and Bavuma are at the top, SA will be able to reach this total with their help of them as it stands now.

South Africa made 298 runs and they gave 7 wickets but on the other hand England was trying to win but unfortunately England's team got all out in 44 overs and made only 271 runs. From South Africa team Rassie made century(111) on 117 balls.
And in the England team Jasson played well he made 113 runs on 91 balls.
Both teams played well.

England are a much stronger side than South Africa in comparison, but sadly England have lost seven of their last eight matches with just one win on their report.  But England has performed well in every match. They scored 146 runs for no wicket in 19.3 overs in the last ODI match where they were bowled out for 271 runs against a target of 299 runs. Here is the great failure of England. Roy, David Malan, Josh Butler, except these three batsmen, none of them could perform well. So the first match was lost due to poor performance.

England has always maintained its position at the top level of the ICC Cricket Rankings but in recent times they have had to drop down a bit from that position. Especially in the ODI ranking, England is currently at the 4th position. New Zealand is one step ahead of them. New Zealand have played a total of 29 matches with 3229 points and England have collected 3450 points from 31 matches. However, in ODI cricket, they will again bring good form with the upcoming ODI World Cup.

According to my suggestion England team should change something in the teams that will better for the team. Because they are now coming down and this is not good for the England team. If this team want to stand in the ICC world cup they need much more practice and should resolve the mismanagement issues.

The present squad have got good set of players. Something lacked in the previous game, the players can give the best. It was supposed to be a winning match for England, fortunately South Africa took credit of the last moments. Today's second match will be more interesting and England will surely go for first batting if they win the toss. Scoring 300+ runs seems to be interesting and today we can expect good performance from the middle order.

The South African team is currently in very good form. Has been able to score more runs with the loss of 1 wicket so far. The state of play suggests that South Africa have a high chance of winning.

South Africa play amazingly Thier batter almost crushed every English bowler, d kock didn't play a long inning and dismissed early but the Captain T.bavuma amazed every one by building a strong partnership with partner and score a phenomenal century, I think this century raised the upcoming player moral which will help them to chase the target easily. Now south Africa has 233 runs in 35 overs , while 4 player of them are down. Now south Africa need 110 runs In 88 balls which will be quite easy for them because still some big hitter player are on crease like miller.

I wrote earlier that it's surprising that SA on same pitch batted first after winning the toss but today they did the opposite. The surface is good for batting so anyone winning the toss should have gone to bat first.

South Africa has won the game by 5 wickets. I wasn't expecting that South Africa will win it. The target was pretty good, but the pitch was batting friendly. South Africa has won the match for the great start of the openers. Each bowler of South Africa has gotten wickets in the match and each batsman has contributed to the victory. A perfect team combination.
