Finally, There is some consensus building up for the 2023 ODI Asia cup.

India is still not visiting Pakistan but from start, it was a well known fact to every party. The good news for Pakistan is that they will host the Asia cup in their own backyard and India will play their matches in a neutral venue. Maybe SL, UAE, Oman or England.

Muscat in Oman is likely to host matches involving India, as that city is slightly colder compared to the UAE locations during summer. And in case India progresses to the semi-finals or finals, will these matches be still played in neutral venues? Anyway, this was the most logical solution to the issue and make sure that ACC will not suffer any losses. PCB may lose out on considerable revenues in the form of gate collection and sponsorship, but even for them it is much preferable when compared to the scenario where the tournament is cancelled altogether.

Whichever country becomes the host would get a good chunk of revenue. Considering the present economic condition of Srilanka I think it would be great for them to host those matches.

And Netherlands bowling needs to be more experienced to attack the opposition players with fast balls. This was an unexpected result for me. I thought the Netherlands would win. Because the performance of the top-order players was outstanding. The first 5 batsmen of the Netherlands' top order played very well. But no other batsman was able to perform well. The Netherlands lost three wickets for 197 runs. They failed to collect only 73 runs. However, the performance of Zimbabwe's bowlers in S10 overs was good. Sikandar Raza and Wessly Madhevera took 3 wickets each. I would say that the Zimbabwean team was able to win this match because of the controlled bowling of those two bowlers.

As expected Sanju Samson has started questioning SKY. Shashi Tharoor has been vocal about Sanju Samson not being part of the Indian 11. After the IPL If his performance is better than SKY then I think he will be of the Indian 11 in the world cup.

Elections are due in around 12 months from now, and Shashi Tharoor knows that he can't win without the support from the Christian voters (~25% in his consistency). The reason why he remembers Samson all of a sudden is just because he needs votes from that particular section. Samson was given plenty of chances previously and now the BCCI should consider some of the other promising youngsters to replace SKY (if needed). There is no comparison between SKY and Samson. SKY is miles ahead in terms of consistency and skills.

Bangladesh could have secured the series win in the 2nd match. But with the match being abandoned due to rain, that chance was greatly reduced. Despite scoring a record run that day, the Tigers had to be content with sharing the result. Along with that, the expectation of winning the series has also increased a little. Rain created more opportunities but Ireland could not capitalize on them.

Just because SKY made some ravishing performance doesn't mean he can't be compared with Sanju Samson. Even before the politicians words there were issues around. The only support he have is the social media community who raise voice against the BCCI. This doesn't have any use. It is a proven fact in Indian cricket that the North players were prioritised against the South. This is well known and admitted politics within India. Now we're discussing about the ODI format of cricket. An average of 66 runs is far better compared to 20 runs and both have debuted in the same Sri Lanka series during the year 2021.

Yes, Bangladesh team performs so well at times that any strong team is not a big obstacle for them. But one thing I have noticed is that as aggressive as they are at home ground, they have a major weakness away from home. If they can perform well out side of their country then they can stay at the top position in any format. But regrettably they often fail to do so. Especially they cannot play on bounce pitches. Because of which they have to lose to the big cricket countries.

Every time expectations are high for the final between these two arch rival sides but every time it never came true as we have last time in t20i while Sri Lanka knocked out India from final and then beats Pakistan for the title, so we can expect many surprises again in this event because right now all Asian teams are doing good even Afghanistan can do upset as we have last time against few big teams, so now I have no expectations for this final because quality cricket is also doing good.

As we are heading for this Asia Cup I want we have these matches in England which could be good for the both teams and also for the fans because this could be better and good place to play cricket in this time and surely ECB and ACC will also have good amount because if we have matches here then surely all stadiums will be packed as we have in Australia.

ICC funding alone can't be enough to promote cricket in the country, government support is must and if there is no supprt from government side then you have problem promoting cricket in the country. Zimbabwe was one of great test teams when players like Grant flower and Andy flower were part of team in late 90s but since then it's complete fall. Recently Zimbabwe participated in T20 World Cup and it gave hope that Zimbabwe may bounce back but its proving to be false once again after seeing there performance in bilateral series.

SKY is very good in T20I, but he doesn't perform well in other formats. Samson is not good in any of the formats. Anyway, IPL is only a few days away and this year's tournament is a very big opportunity for both these players to get attention from national team selectors. No matter how much we distinguish T20 from ODI, selection will always be done (for all the formats) on the basis of their performance in IPL. And both the players will come face-to-face at least twice in this season, when Mumbai Indians clash against Rajasthan Royals.

But here Netherlands doing good job against team like Zimbabwe which is having many ups and downs and their recent performance is also not good because look like now they are having no chance for improving their quality and performance with this current system which is having many issues but still they are doing good in shorter formats and can stay in touch for the better results.

If the election is the reason for tweeting in favor of Sanju Samson then I think he is a fool. Instead of working on the real issues faced by people of his constituents and just tweeting for Samson to get votes from his fans in the upcoming election is not something Shashi Tharoor is known for. He is a fanboy of cricket and has tweeted numerous times about cricket. According to me, he is a genuine fan of Samson, and this is not the first time that he has tweeted in support of him.
