Brownlee makes things possible; when he's hot, his shooting is very accurate. Maybe Jordan will put more pressure on him, but mate, don't forget that this is a championship match. Personally, I wouldn't bother looking at the handicap anymore; I'd just like to bet on the Philippines to win. So, I would go for the Moneyline as well.

Gilas would provably get a problem tomorrow knowing that Jordan is properly scouted this team and they know which player needs to be heavily guarded that's why this is tough match for Gilas tomorrow since Jordan is well balance team. For sure Jordan will put some defensive pressure on Justin Brown Lee since they know that this is the main guy of Gilas. Coach Tim Cone should do some good plays so that they will not heavily rely on Brown lee and they can still compete and possibly win bring a gold to Philippines. I would also bet on Gilas tomorrow to try to see if they are lucky and can able to win the challenge made by Jordan. This is so hard for them but if the team will work together and execute good passing for sure this will be the key to win this game.

Yeah, my bad, I mistyped it as I was thinking about how Gilas beat Iran. I also read an article at that time about Iran complaining that our national team has 3 naturalized players; he must have mistaken CJ Perez as one.

Good for you, it's really expected that the line will move in favor of the Philippines due to their impressive performance against China. Although many would say that Justin Brownlee carried them, if you look at how the Philippines defended, you will see that teamwork was a big factor in that success.

At least this one will be the redeemption on  our FIBA line up. We have high expection on our FIBA line up that end up miserable and look how far our ASIAN Games line up doing well in this tournament compared to FIBA line up. That might be a bit over the top, but hey, I like the enthusiasm! We gotta give props to our own, right? I'm totally on board with the idea that Brownlee is the best import the Philippines has seen. There's even a big debate going on about who's better, JB or JC, and it's dividing opinions. Right now, JB's got everyone hyped up with what he's been doing for our country.

As far as I know, we've got one gold medal in the bag, could've been two if it wasn't for that decision that favored the home fighter and cost Eumir Marcial. Basketball might just be one event, but it's the most popular sport in the Philippines, in my opinion. Winning a gold medal in it is a huge deal, and it'll go down in history for sure. People won't forget that anytime soon!

With regards to his  proposal to have a twin tower combination anytime, i think that's the best solution the Gilas have on guarding/neutralizing RHJ. Fajardo has slowed a bit so yeah i agree that Japeth Aguilar and Ange Kouame will man RHJ all the time with no double, let him score and not his team mates who are deadly form the rainbow country if left wide open, that's what we saw in their first meeting.

Good analysis from analyst but they need to consider the game phase since if they rely on twin tower combination then they might be slow and can be a huge advantage by Jordan. Maybe they really need to work on their shot so that they connect since that's their problem on their last meeting and they are totally outscored by them. For sure today we can see a different game since Pilipinas learn a lot from the mistake they have done and know which are the players they need to watch for. They should limit the shots commited by Jefferson and make him force his shots so that he can't get a good rythm. This is their chance to win a gold and they are positive that they can get that, but if not still good since they placed at good spot and already create a history on asian games.

Not being bitter but if only AJ Edu or Abueva is on our lineup both are flexi and for sure are fit to take that assignment, but what we have right now are the hardworking players, I'm sure coach Tim will find a way to neutralized RBH, or the other set up is try to move the ball and create good space for a much clearer shots and hopefully this time we will have that luck or that confidence to make those shots and win the gold..Crossing my fingers...

That was a fantastic game! The Philippines made a remarkable comeback, and they didn't let Jordan control the tempo. It was the suffocating defense of the Philippines that was the key to their success. I didn't keep track of how many points Brownlee contributed, but it was everyone on the floor who made the win possible. In contrast, Jordan relied heavily on RHJ, and their import obviously struggled significantly, possibly due to the early defensive pressure from the Philippines.

Huge credit also goes to Tim Cone. His strategic genius made it difficult for Jordan in a low-scoring game, especially when their three-point shooting wasn't working. I had a feeling the Philippines would secure the win, but I didn't celebrate prematurely since anything could have happened. Now that it's over, let's celebrate together!

A natural reaction as human, what do we expect after we upset them, but whatever they think about us there's nothing that they can do now, we already win the gold and prove our worth, either they will focus on their next national team and get that revenge or continue being upset as the new system that our nationals are using right now is far different from what we have before.

We are not aiming for the win and not only for experienced, not bashing anyone, but that's should be the focus.

We don't need experienced as we already have lots of experienced from that past managements. Congrats Gilas, thanks for bringing not just the gold but the pride that will now be written on the Asian history from this sport..
