Damn Sociedad, second game without winning, screwed me on a parlay already. Now on to Valencia, riding on them to beat Real and hand Barca the title. Should be a fun game to watch anyway, and Valencia do have a europa place at least to fight for at this. Should be a cracker.

I wish Valencia could steal some points off Real Madrid, but what are the chances ?  Real Madrid have a VERY LARGE squad and the most relevant ones fit, might be a relatively easy win for the Los Blancos...

I don't know what Zidane is up to tonight, having Bale, Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr on the bench but starting just Hazard and Benzema up front. The game just kicked off! Should be interesting, indeed!

We have seen some great football in the first half between Real and Valencia even though it is still without goals. There was a lot of chances for real but Cillessen rose up to the occasion. Valencia also had a few very good chances and managed to hit the post and even score the goal but VAR overruled it for marginal offside. Hope for more of the same in the second half and we will probably see some goals as well.

That first half definitely wasn't a 0-0 game, Valencia did put on quite a performance...

I don't know if offside calls like this should really be made, but the bottom line imo would remain the fact that rules are rules, except there is better review to the offside rule to cover certain situations. It was a great ball play from Valencia, I'm not even sure if the ball had touched Soler's feet whom perhaps was offside by a whisker but Rodrigo was definitely onside.

Anything is possible in a football if the full-time whistle is blown but Real Madrid really mess up when they missed the big chance they had to have put the ball at the back of Valencia net and if the game continues lime this there's a chance that Valencia will make point either 3 or a single point today.

People won't remember the performance of each team generally but the final score of most games  
I meant by 0-0 the score obviously and not 0 performance, anyway it is already 3 goals for Real Madrid and the match almost ended

First game for Asensio in 9 months and today: 1 goal, what a screamer! and a magnificent assist. Yep, this is the Asensio we fans want, gonna be of great help towards the end of season in both the league and CL...what a mid season "signing"!  

Benzema's goal, though...hands down one of the best goals in La Liga this season ...easily top 3

@buwaytress  i feel bad for you bet, but man, Valencia were pretty bad tonight...it all went downhill as soon as we managed to break that 10-man defence and scored the first one.

I wouldn't compare it with that famous Zidane volley but it was surely a well executed goal which could be La liga goal of the season contender. I also loved how the whole goal came about right from the nice defensive tackle by Casemiro.

A good match for Benzema on this occasion. Although there were no goals in the first half but he managed to enter 2 goal in the second half in minute 61 and when the match was almost over or in minute 86.

3 goal from 14 attempt is a satisfying result for Real Madrid and it makes them below Barcelona with 2 point and of course Barcelona will feel a little pressure. Another thing that I think about is, Valencia have always been less fortunate to meet Real Madrid in the even years in 3 or 4 consecutive seasons.

I'm also thinking of a Valencia upset, but more because I'll breathe a little bit easier if Barca are at least 3 points away from Real, and not just 2 now. So yeah, a point for Valencia would be more than enough for me to smile. Atletico went riot last night, too bad didn't watch it.

In fact I want Real Madrid not to want to be left behind in the game tonight with Valencia at least being able to catch up with Barcelona by one point more.

But for me it will be a very easy victory where they are able to play with the best team like the initial match which is for Real Madrid.

Guess you turned out to be right after all. The beginning of the game wasn't so clear cut, and then there was that disallowed goal from Rodrigo, but it really got tight thereon after. Second half hattrick, 12 shots on goal, Real deserved it after all. Bogey team didn't happen for Real too bad.

Real vs Valencia should be a good game tonight, Real desperately need 3 points to close the gap on Barca, they can’t afford to drop any points if they want to make a good fight of becoming champions.

3-0 win for Real give them a chance to still chance for the title.
The point gap is only 2 points and it is one game difference actually. If Barcelona didn't manage to get a win and Real will not lose points then they are going to reach the first position easily.

We have a real treat late this evening. I will just put my baby girl to sleep and sit down to watch Sevilla-Barca in peace. Probably with few beers at hand to celebrate the end of the working week

Anyway, I am expecting a good game and first real test for Barca since the restart. Sevilla usually managed to score on their home pitch so i am expecting them to do so tonight as well. Barca is always good for goal or two when Messi is playing so I chose both to score @1.6. I am not touching other La Liga games tonight since I want to have a live ticket for max experience during the match.

@slaman29 you’re right as Real Madrid were creating some chances in the first half, but they were lacking the cutting edge, however in the second half they were rejuvenated and played with confidence, which allowed them to dominate the match and secure those vital 3 points.

Also it’s pertinent to note that Asensio who was making his return after a year now, scored a beautiful goal which was really delightful to watch for a Real Madrid fan like me.

Lastly did anyone else saw his goal, and what do you’ll think of his performance as I feel that he can inspire Real Madrid to win the La Liga and Champions League this season?.

Sevilla vs Barcelona should be a good game tonight, Sevilla is a tough ground to win at although it won’t hold the same fear factor now as obviously it’s behind closed doors. Because of the no home fans situation I expect Barca to win.

yeah, i do not think that Sevilla will lose this one, they tend to lose every second match at home with Barca in last decade, and they lost last one, so tradition is on their side, and moreover, they proved some quality after restart, did not play great, but good enough to collect some points, and will have a chance tonight, think that we can see a draw 1:1 for example

Barca will be complete, but under pressure tonight, and IMHO they will not dominate the field, so do not expect from them to score many goals, one should be good for them, and Sevilla can score one as well
