I am a big fan of Messi but this is a sad event that happened in today's Match.

What happened?

The situation of Barca is delicate anyway.
They are without money and they need to do 70 milions before the end of 30/06/2020.

They are also in a delicate political situation for the new presidential election and the actual "I don't give an f." president.

I also read somewhere that Barca still needs to pay some months of Messi's salary but idk if it is a true thing.

I don't justify what Messi, though I don't think it was something terrible, I doubt that he pushed opponent without any reason. H e had to receive yellow card, red card would be too strict.
but reaction of Diego Carlos was ridiculous - he fall like he was shot, he deserves Oscar for it .

I doubt it would be easy, the match might gives you a real surprise.

Real Sociedad have always been a panic for Real Madrid, remember how they kicked out Real Madrid from Copa Del Rey in the quarter final? I guess it won't be that easy for Real Madrid to the get top place. I won't be surprise if Madrid lost point on this match. I guess Sociedad is the biggest resistance to Madrid to get the title. Otherwise, Barca has created the option for Madrid by losing point on last match.
If Madrid can win all the rest matches and so does Barca, Madrid will get the title which I guess is a better chance for Madrid.

Such an intense match with a lot of shot on goals and interesting goal fest!

A disallowed goal for real madrid after VAR decided it was offside
And the 4-3 for real sociedad,  Madrid almost got their revenge at the end of the match but real sociedad successfully hold them there.
Lots of drama and yeah so entertaining.

I wish could see the same thing tonight at least give us some real entertainment with those goals fest!

I've expected this result.

An important match like this always bring some more nervous factor in the team and yeah as you can see even messi blow his emotions there.

Now the real pressure are on real madrid .. eventhough they have a chance to get the first place by winning the next match with 3 or 4 goals difference.

Yeah but I think it wasn't so much that he needed to win, it was about the entire football media pressuring him to win AND score his 700th career goal. For him it is just a matter more time and I think he will even reach 800 goals with 3 more seasons, which is incredible at any manner.

Didn't watched Celta - Alaves game and I'm amazed to see such big result 6:0. You rarely can see bottom table teams achieving such big wins. do not think that Real will done it easily tonight, there is a lot of pressure, since Barca played draw in Sevilla, but Sociedad is a tough ground, and last season home team won easily 3:1, what is good for Madrid is that Sociedad do not tend to win home matches with Real in a row, so i do not expect home team to win, but could get a draw, that was not seen between these two teams since 2013

Well, Celta is one of teams that I wouldn't like to see relegating to Segunda.

Celta with that squad should be fighting for a spot in the top 6...it's been a really odd year for them. Hopefully, this win will be a turning point for them.

Yeah,,,definitely its the match which will reduce the amount of gossip about next La Liga winner. Real Madrid have higher chances to be the table topper and that's why this match is very important for their fans. Barca supporters are eagerly waiting to see the first goal from sociadad side but i don't think that's gonna happen today. Competition between Barcelona and Real Mardrid is the most common thing in spanish league's specially in La Liga and most probably its the most craziest thing in football world. I hope Real Madrid will play with their best attacking formation for another easy win.

Fascinating thing is that Real Madrif will go on the top of the table due to better head to head stats against Barcelona. On the other hand, Sociedad need to win this one if they still looking for Champions League position. La Liga is so close this season that even a single match can completely jumble the table! i am good for tonight, Valencia won the match, it was pretty easy, so did not have much to worry about, and now i can watch two royal teams fighting in a beautiful city of San Sebastian, without bet, since Real win is good Valencia's fight for euro competition next year, and Sociedad win is good as i do like Madrid that much, win-win situation with draw as the best option, but would not put a bet on it
