Good performance by Vinicius, scored 1 goal to make the difference in El Classico tonight. Then, another goal made by Diaz. I think it is already enough to make Real Madrid fans happy this time. Sorry for Barca fans, Real Madrid's youngsters are still much better than Barca has. This result absolutely makes us back to the top position again.

I was so happy for the two young lads who scored especially for Mariano. We have so many promising forwards but i don't get why Zidane sometimes gets stuck with Benzema and Bale. It's about time he started looking past them.
Yes they have achieved for the club in the past years but time comes when change is needed.
Otherwise it was a good match from Mardrid's point of view. They needed that win so much.

With this victory Real Madrid returned to the top of the table while Madrid was great at beating Barcelona without a goal back and the match was incredible at the time of his watching.
Yeah with these 2 young players real Madrid are able to optimize it now they are very relied on by Hazard and other midfield players, I think Zidane will find the player he is looking for to be a player that is very relied on by young players.

Benzema is Zizou's friend, and Florentino Perez really likes Karim so, yeah...And we do have quality on the bench, Mariano and Jovic are good players, they just need play time. They did pretty well in Lyon and Eintracht Frankfurt respectively, too bad Zizou doesn't like either.

Victory is important for Madrid and of course Elclasico results have a negative effect on Barcelona coach Satien and I doubt he will be defended if he fails against Napoli in the UCL second leg. If the coach fails to take Barcelona through to the next phase at UCL then I am sure he will soon get a sacking letter. Many people doubt his ability, and for some reason I wonder why management shows him to be a coach. But this situation is good for Madrid.

Real Madrid is a better team during this season and it was very unlucky to see them on the second place of the league table.
Now they won and captured the first place fairly.

I knew Real Madrid would win that is why I won a good odd ticket yesterday including Real,Lyon and Universidad de Chile.I saw the game of Barcelona against Napoli where Barcelona didn’t dominate the game at all and they risked to even lose it.Real when playing at home and when there was the title fight in the match would have done anything to win and they did so.

Ronaldo is super star,  one of the best player in the world.
Real with Ronaldo and without him is completely different team.
It's obvious last 2 years how much Real lost when Ronaldo decide to leave.
They just can't find anybody to replace him.
In La Liga they manage somehow without him but when they play in CL with clubs like Manchester City or Ajax it's obvious they don't have good attackers and that good defense is not enough for good result.
Any way this victory saved season for Real and Zidane will not loose his job.

Honestly, Real was stronger today and deserved to win. It's very difficult for me to say these words as hardcore Barca fan.
In first half Barca played dolid and had few chances to score. But second half was totally dominated by Real. High intensity and very active pressing gave result. It can't be justified how much freedom Braithwaite give for Vinicius when he scored a goal. And unfortunately, it wasn't day of Messi.
Real is again on the top of table by 1 point. 12 games remains and end of season will be very hot.

@LTU_btc I’m glad you didn’t do what a typical football fan would do find excuses about why your favourite team (Barcelona) didn’t win, and it takes lots of courage to praise your competitor which shows that you’re a true fan who really loves watching this sport.

It’s also pertinent to note that Real Madrid players had more to loose as they knew a loss here would mean that Zidane would be sacked, as Real Madrid is already on the verge of exit from Champions League.

However anything can happen in these 12 games, and if Zidane really wishes to save his job then he’ll have to win all the remaining games otherwise he’ll be sacked.

Ah well, Real were ruthless. Not that Barcelona needed a reminder but it seems that their sun truly is setting, I know it's a game and one game doesn't change anything but this one was a stark reminder that the earlier 0-0 was a warning sign, and this one is a threat that if they don't change, the Catalans will be made obsolete.

But the news also for me is that Getafe won again. Dark Horse contender even with 12 games to go.

I don't think that the problem with the officials is the reason for Barcelona recent poor performance,  but the selection of players,  I was surprised seeing Vidal playing as a winger,  while Fati was on bench,  Injury crisis is what is rocking Barça squad,  without the right players Messi might not perform very well as expected

The elclasico was a fantastic match yesterday and it reiterates my facts that Valverde is still a better coach than setien.
Imagine trying to choke Madrid with cms?

Overall it was a good match, courtious pulled up fantastic saves and Vincius is developing well too.
Madrid is now top of the league and perhaps their consistency will win them the league

So painful to see that after climbing over them, they go and take top spot again. I know I said it myself yesterday that this game won't decide who the title winners are (12 games is so many it is basically a third of the marathon left) but if we keep losing like this, then we better be prepared to be disappointed end of season.

Prolly got mad after their loss vs City.  Lol.  There's a couple tough-ish fixtures that could make them lose some points tho.  There's Valencia at home and Real Sociedad away, back to back.  And there's Getafe at home followed by Athletic away.

People stated that Messi can do everything. It means even if no Suarez, it is not a big problem. There is another top attacker, Griezman. Why Messi should depend on Suarez? Does it mean without Suarez, Messi is nothing? I think the problem is in the strategy and the luck itself. You sometimes have done everything and with your best, but you are just unlucky at that time.

So when Messi is injured and not included in the first line up we blame that he is not in the squad.
When Messi is on the squad but Suarez isn't, we will say that if Suarez was in the first team they are going to win?
