 I am not entirely sure whats wrong with Barcelona, but they are not doing great not only right now but also not doing great for the future as well with weird transfers as well. I think they are not going to be proper team for a while. Every one of their players that matters became over 33 this year with most of the good ones over 30, and we are talking about getting another 30 year old and they are not even contending for championship this year anymore with how they are playing and getting bad results.

 Anyone thinks this season was the officially start of the end for their messi era of awesomeness and they are going to have a big trouble for next certain amount of years and not going to be great anymore (by barcelona standarts, definitely top 3 in la liga) and will find their new system and players after certain years? Or will they just be like Madrid after Ronaldo and just continue to dominate?

Sigh. We dominated, had so many shots, possession etc but Atletico reminded Barca of what they did against Liverpool and it worked too. 1 own goal and 1 penalty, Messi won't want to remember this 700th goal landmark at all, all that for 1 point.

Yeah, actually we didn't played bad yesterday, but it wasn't enough. I still have questions about second Atletico penalty and I can't understand why they didn't even made VAR review. Now everything is in Madrid hands. 2 next games against Getafe and Athletic will be crucial for them. If they will win both, there will be no doubts who will win league.

Messi is still good and if there will be injuries, he still can play in top level for few years. But the problem is that Barca simply have no strategy for upcoming few years and our transfer policy shows it. You have good point about age of our key players, they are getting old and our board is failing to find replacement for them. It feels that our team is turning into joke like MU or Milan. Now I'm just waiting until president election next year and I hope that new board will move club in right direction.
And I just remind that Real struggled a lot during first season after Ronaldo departure. Same will happen after Messi era in Barcelona. It's impossible that teams after loss of best players in this century will remain in same level.

I am currently watching the Betis vs Villarreal match and although the possession of the ball is dominated by Betis but their settlement is not good, Moreno has performed well in the first round by contributing 2 goals for Villarreal.

Although happy to see Barca losing point, I have to agree that the penalty was a wrong decision and surprisingly no VAR on that decision. It was in no way a penalty. Now, the title is almost certain for Real. If they win next match against Getafe, it will be confirmed.

I have watched how the Yellow army has been playing since the resumption of the league and to be honest, It's not going to be an easy match for Barcelona once again. Hopefully Real Madrid just do what they should tomorrow and win the match. How Barcelona Performs won't matter.

I agree with you, mate. It is likely Villarreal in a good performance lately, so it shouldn't be an easy match for Barcelona. Moreover, Villarreal plays at home and they are struggling to pursue Sevilla for the fourth position. If Barcelona still cannot deal with their current problem, instead I predict they will be defeated by Villareal.     

Hopefully Real Madrid just do what they should tomorrow and win the match. How Barcelona Performs won't matter.

Yes, Real Madrid should focus to win tomorrow match and don't think so much about the result of Barcelona against Villareal.

after yesterday performance from Barca, i would expect surprise here, and Getafe could even win the match, since Real is already celebrating the title IMO, and that could leave them without energy on the pitch, bearing in mind that Getafe is good team, would not bet on Real for this one

Sergio Ramos scored from the penalty spot to hand madrid the victory and takes them 4 points ahead of Barcelona. Will Messi and co launch a fight back for the title ? Only 5 matches left and they already against the strongest team (Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla), also they now are leading with 4 points. It is enough as the reason to win another La Liga trophy with Zidane. Now, Real Madrid only needs to play consistently and shows the best performance.

When Ronaldo was around, football rotated around him including spot kicks and free kick. One of the things I loved about him was he knew how to position himself in that center forward position whenever it was necessary. Benzema would play more like a midfielder than a Center Forward.

Indeed. And it deserves to try.
If we looked at his penalty history, he actually has a good track record to take penalties. According to transfermarkt, he has made penalties scored 15 times, and only missed 2 times. If the coach gives him more time to take penalties, I am pretty sure that he can improve his ability to take a penalty. Then, he also can have a chance to be the top scorer in La Liga.

Barca remaining games aren't very hard except maybe Villareal one. Real Madrid has to win at least 4/5 of the remaining matches. Every failure from Barca side is welcome of course

4 points I think is enough for Real Madrid. As long as Real Madrid really haven't suffered two defeats in the last 5 matches, it's really ridiculous actually and could have happened. Personally, I remain confident for this season that Real Madrid will lift the Spanish league trophy.

Even when Real play bad they can still win. They must be so thankful to Sergio Ramos these days who suddenly knows how to score from penalties and open play, the only good side I can see is they got 5 yellows in that match so it was high tempo and hot tempered.

Don't worry mate I operate on fair level and you will get your money back if Real manages to keep their advantage. That was my intention from the moment you paid in case something like this happened and reason while the bet is still mentioned under neutral trust. Told you not to pay before final whistle is blown had a feeling there will be a twist before the end

Of course there is still the chance. Real isn't playing so good but they are winning. For Barca to have any chance Barca has to start playing much better, probably with a new coach since a lot of things is problematic in dressing room and they can't change the players.
