It was not easy for Real Madrid to play football again after the competition was stopped for two months because of the corona virus pandemic.  That can be seen from their inconsistency throughout the game.

I think this applies equally to other teams after a long pandemic break. But its only natural because this is the first competitive match in a long time. Madrid is still a threat to Barcelona in the standings with a difference of only 2 points. But I am sure Barcelona will win the title at the end of the season.

Just saw the Real Madrid played in a different stadium while there is no public for upgrading the Bernabeu, this is very clever by them.

Yep, Barca and Messi looking hella good, Atletico with the good 'ol draw (they have more draws than wins so far), and Madrid with a great performance. I'm so glad that we're gonna have La Liga action every single day next week!  

Always sort of enjoyed Spanish football more than any other league (after English one) but yeah, it does seem as if the break has made watching it even sweeter! I like Messi's new old look too, he looks a bit faster, like he got back a few years taking away his facial hair =p

Sociedad made my weep but I'll get over it quick!

In the initial match it was satisfying for Barcelona who won 4-0 while Real Mardri won 3-1 and I think they should be able to defend and fight for the position of the first standings because this second target must be achieved so from that messi and my friends I am sure will be able won LaLiga this season.

But I missed the Real Madrid match so I didn't really know how the match had been.

Real Madrid fans can breathe easily because Madrid won 3-1 over Eibar..  the game went pretty hard, ball possession was almost equal (Madrid 57%, Eibar 43%).  just a difference of 2 points between Madrid and Barca.  even so, I was pessimistic that Madrid was able to pass Barca and win the Spanish league trophy in this 2019/2020 season..

In the first half Madrid played fast and dominated possession to score three goals, but in the second half Eibar was more aggressive and able to keep pace.  This will be Zidane's homework to find the fitness of Madrid players in ideal physical condition.

This is a normal behavior of any team like Real Madrid even in non pandemic times.A team that dominates the first half 3-0 can relax the second half as they have secured the win so there is no point to fight hard in the second half.Ball possession isn’t always the perfect indicator of which team did play better and as an example I can give 74% ball possession of Barca and yet they have lost 0-1 in a game I don’t remember now but it has happened in the past.

Sevilla is playing tonight in Valencia, and i think that they could win and secure their position within top 3 teams for the moment, Levante took a draw in previous round, but their ambitions for the season are low, they do not have a chance neither for europe competitions, neither to drop down to segunda and Sevilla could use that tonight

first match with Betis was good, result better than play, but tonight they could made their situation much better, @1.6 will put that on my ticket

I have to admit that yesterday barcelona were very good in the game and I was surprised that they won by 4 goals and did not concede any goals and I hope that today Real Madrid will not lose because if Real Madrid lose in today's game they are putting themselves in a very unpleasant and dangerous situation, he will practically be giving barcelona the title of champion

Sevilla, after that massive with in the Derby, needs to keep this momentum going now that they're playing almost every 3-4 days. With Getafe, Atletico and Sociedad so close to them in the league, every game is a final, and surely they have what it takes to beat a mid table team like Levante.

yeah, and Sociedad has a chance tonight to be within top 4 prior to that match, with three points lead in CL qualification, if they win over Osasuna, it would be nice to see Sociedad in Champions league, although if that happens, Valencia will miss CL next season

And, they messed it up. They should have easily should have gotten a bit of a gap yesterday with a win but they messed it up. They are now so close on the table with Getafe and Atletico. Valencia is struggling a lot this season. I am still bit amazed that despite that they are so close even to Europa spot.

Sevilla vs Levante should be a good match with both teams to score.

I like the look of the new stadium and Real Madrid once again shows how rich they are with it as well, it is very sleek and very futuristic looking stadium with probably a ton of new stuff in it as well aside from just football and stands. However one thing I never understand from the clubs is that they are super rich, not just Madrid but plenty of teams have abundant amount of money, they always did, and whenever they upgrade their stadium they never really look into the buildings near them.

If I was owner of a team (or president of a team) I would definitely try to buy property around the stadium as well, so that I could demolish the buildings there and build huge bigger ones and put related people in there, like for example have places for players to stay near the stadium as well.

Don't be too quick to conclusion, probably you must be a Barcelona fan or Messi fan boy. I did watch Real Madrid play and I must say they did play like they're not giving up on the title chase yet. Hazard was brilliant but guess not many notice siyce he didn't score probably that's why I'm not seeing reply here highlighting his impact on the game including the selfless out of assisting Ramos when he was just inches away from finishing a beautiful counter attack.

Saw so attack online (on twitter) saying he was scared of missing the goals that's why he passed the ball to a more experience player and settled for an assist but we all know that's not true. As a Chelsea legend, I specifically watched that match just to see him play and wasn't disappointed.

If you notice Real Madrid this season. Each and every player on the pitch can score ago anytime unlike in the past few seasons. Maybe another high profile signing like that of Mbappe or Haaland could help with Real Madrid  forward line up. I think it's time for them to drop Bale and Benzema

If you watch until the end, probably you don't regret about this decision . Granada were leading 0:1, until 84 minute when Betis scored 2 goals. But then, already during additional time Granada made score 2:2. What I can say - typical Betis of this season.

Yuppp they even almost hold Barcelona draw back in February. Nabil fekir is a phenomenon if only he signed for big club not a random one like real betis lol that was a shocking move tho when the media linked him with top clubs but he choose a random one.

 Since January real betis struggle to get a good result, they always achieve an 'almost' good result yeah.. typical betis.

Just as we all thought Granada were finally going to get into their former early season gear and show the mid table that they don't belong there, they go and make it tough for themselves;)

I saw a short ESPN FC video where they debated whether Mbappe-Hazard-Haaland could replace Bale-Benzema-Ronaldo, I think this comparison is absurd because cristiano ronaldo and messi still have no substitutes to match, in my opinion cristiano ronaldo and lionel Messi are players of a level that so far has no other to replace them

I toyed around with a Sevilla + Granada parlay, but in the end just went with a single bet on Granada at about 43/10...

so you can imagine I was smiling last night when I saw Sevilla drop points thinking wow, I avoided that! And Granada holding on to the 1-0 all the way til 85th minute. How the football gods can be so cruel!

@Slow death: Mbappe Hazard Haaland? Mbappe's barely proven himself, Haaland yet to, Hazard is constantly hot and cold. Then again, I say the same about Bale and Benzema but between the rotations, each finds a way to just make it enough.
