When I sew this news in Croatian online portal I tried to find original article but couldn't.
I don't understand spanish so couldn't search there.
Unfortunately,  Croatian portal only shared news but didn't share original link.
So, it seems there is no way to confirm this news.
If true,  it's big scandal to hide something like this from the public.

And I agree with @Trofo, there is no need to reveal names of players who got infected, information that was published is sufficient. After all, there is things like privacy, GDPR which protect personal information about people.

They even selling masks in their official store^[2], to get uhm, more money. Beside that, their rivals also could sue Barca for this kind of act since it could risk their own players if the news is real. I think all parties are trying to bring the league back.

 If any team hides the players that have coronavirus, that would be a big punishment, not only a big punishment for the team and the front office but also the owners as well. From league ban and minus and lack of competition money and many other stuff, but also champions league and all european as well. Nobody would want to let Barcelona get away with it if they have a trouble like that. But lets be honest they are going to heal until the league starts as well. So at the end of the day we are going to see these people get better and the league will probably not face any troubles. No one says it's strange. Just saying that Barca wouldn't spend a lot of money to hide the truth about their covid-19 infected players from people while they are still in financial crisis.

It is for a medical ethics and everyone have rights of privacy, even they get infected with the virus. Now the virus is everywhere and things are nearly normal because people are familiar with Covid-19 and infected news. But in early days, infected people were discriminated if their personal details were leaked.

People got scared of infected people and considered them as evils, sources of a dealt disease in their communities. Such leak of privacy info and personal attacks or personal assassinations can lead to serious PTSDs.

I strongly agree that there should be complete transparency regarding such a serious matter.A player with Covid 19 can at least infect the other players in his team and the team he will play against.The other players unknowingly can infect people near them and become a source of Covid spread.

We all know that in that period, even UEFA did not have any plans to suspend the Champions League or Europa League and the situation in Italy, and the Europe were not too bad at that time. With the virus, situations change very fastly and that what we witnessed.

Understandable, but this is not only one factor and it is very possible there are many other factors that caused these two countries to get a terrible pandemic. But now almost everything can be overcome because we are in the middle of a period between pandemic, treatment, and return to normal. We all need to be able to see and be optimistic about the future and make the pandemic a history that we will remember in old age.

Well,  we didn't see any official statement about this case from Barcelona or Spanish football Association so it's not transparent enough.
We even don't know when this incident happened,  maybe all players already was together during training.

No matter when it happened, every infected person brings virus. We don't know since when he got infected and who he has interacted with. There is a possibility these players (if they really tested positive) got infected before the league stopped. As long as we fight invisible thing, it always be dangerous mate. Transparency is priority in current situation.

Koeman, hmmm he hasn’t been manager of a big club recently & there isn’t many bigger than Barca. Maybe tgey should move for Pochettino, he plays progressive football with modern tactics.

Actually in the past Barcelona was well known as a club that brave enough to hire a coach with not so much experience before, and the results were amazing. E.g. Rijkaard, Vilanova, Enrique, and ofc Pep. I wouldn't be surprised if Pimienta as Barcelona B coach gets promoted to senior level.

I  remember that his name was laready mentioned back in January, but it was reported that he want to stay in Netherlands and manage national team in Euro 2020
If Setien will end season without trophies, I don't see him in Barca next season, despite long contract. I still see him more as caretaker who was chosen when there was not many options available
@DeathAngel, compared to Setien, he mnaged solid clubs -Everton, Southampton, Feyenoord. Don't even talk about Ajax, Benfica or PSV 15-20 years ago. And probably last Barca manager with solid CV was Van Gaal. Well, Valverde maybe, but he never managed title contender in La Liga before Barca.
BTW, there is great news for Barca - Luis Suarez is finally ready to play against Mallorca upcoming weekend.
