Messi wants to bring the Barcelona president to his dismissal, but he is much smarter at intrigue. So Messi is in a losing situation. He needed to insist on leaving. Next year will be worse for him. The problems with the president will add problems with the coach and possibly with the players.

Why do you think Messi is in a losing situation? Only because he has to stay another season at Barca? It is Barca that looks unsympathetic after all this drama. After all these years and all that Messi has done for this club, did they really have to force him to stay, no matter what?

I am a Barcelona fan and like everyone I want Messi to stay in Barcelona.But the way Barcelona has forced him to stay,it is very sad situation for Messi.He loves the club but the club has so many problems specifically the president.And as a Messi fan I think club should have treated him better because he has done a lot for the club.And if he stays for 1 season and left after that Messi will face problem because then he will be 1 year older and his physical ability will be less to play in English premier league.I was excited that Messi will be in English premier league (I thought he will leave surely) but I hope all the problems Between Messi and club Barcelona will be solved.

Messi is a legend with his current achievement, 6 Ballon Dor are enough to call Messi is a legend. Ronaldo is jealous with Messi and he does not need more personal or team trophies just to be called as a legend. It is his ambitious goal to play with joy and get more trophies.

This makes me remember how Messi was retired from the national team of Argentina after they lost a game in the world cup if I remember this right and even though CR7 played only a few minutes in the final game, Portugal won the European Championship like a boss.

Although I am not a Messi fan but that guy is skilled and I think no one could say the opposite about him. Doing his best most of the time while playing with weak ( well not the same level rather than weak) players and without winning a trophy is disappointing for him for sure, especially if all blames pointing to him.
Imagine doing your best then got blamed for the failure of your team who aren't taking the job serious... I can feel him, he tried several times without success, continuing that way will make him depressed.
CR7 and Portugal aren't in the same situation at all. If Portugal win, everyone will applaud, if it lose no one will care. CR7 is a legend in Portugal. Ask anyone about a Portugal football player and his name will be the 1st and maybe the only answer lol.
Now Argentina is an important club and has to win, being eliminated early in competition is shameful. Name Argentina legend, Maradona comes first... Where is Messi and what did he do for his team?...

I'm a Barca supporter and Messi fan.  I'm happy to see Messi in the Barcelona jersey, but it will not be good for his career. Because, Barcelona is almost ruined now. They have to rearrange the whole team, and it takes a lot of time. Messi at the end of his career. He does not have that much time. Let's see how Messi performs next season!

I didn't mean that.  We all know that he has some awesome masterclass skill. His skill cannot be compared to anyone else. I mean, at the end of his career, he obviously wants to win a Ballon d'Or and UCL trophy. If Barcelona wants to win UCL with this kind of team, i think that is like a daydream.  There is no doubt about Messi's skill. but Barcelona need some players to support Messi. Messi has played with Vidal, Rakitich and Suarez for a long time. Now it is really difficult to adapt to someone new.

Barcelona also did a lot for Messi - who paid for the treatment for him? Who made him the world's highest paid player? Who created the ideal conditions for him to develop by fulfilling his every whim? Barcelona did it all. Messi did not win the cups alone. Without Xavi Iniesta Puyol and other players, Messi could hardly have won even one cup.

I think that smile on photo doesn't mean anything. But Messi is big professional and I'm sure that he will do his best on the pitch to try bring Barca back when it belongs, despite that he was forced to stay. He loves this club and fact that he didn't went to court against Barca shows it. Bartomeu will go away next year, while love for club is permanent.
BTW, I see that Coutinho working in Barca pre-season training. I was sure that he have no future in Barcelona, but his agent confirmed that he will stay and that he is in Koeman plans. I just hope that we will version of Coutinho that we saw in LFC and Bayern.

No players lose his skills because of getting old, they just lose the speed and physical endurance. Indeed, Messi always gives his best to the club and it is not a big problem for him as he must be supported by all players on the field. Remember that Messi won't play alone, he should be placed on the best position that he wants. The coach must know well what Messi can do for the team, so just take advantage of it. On the other hand, Real Madrid's main opponent was Barcelona.  But Barcelona is disbanded team now. They release some good player. I don't know who will replace them. Barcelona is now changing its strategy because we saw that the previous strategy did not have a good chance of reaching the championship, so with the new coach Ronald Koeman, he could add to the performance of the players by bringing in his substitutes.
Messi is still maintained at Barcelona, meaning that for the front lines there is still enough if Messi is there but I am not sure that he will win again as Messi is no longer at ease at Barcelina if he does not win the title again in the next season.

When stadiums are closed for spectators, TV broadcasts is very important thing for fans. I think La Liga broadcast already were the most innovative from all top leagues with things like 360° replays, players heatmaps and other things. So, it's nice to hear that they are still improving things.

I still feel so sad for Jovic and Diaz. I know Benzema has been the main man for a while now but I think it's time the other lads are also given enough play time so that they don't completely rot on bench like it has been the case for Bale and James.

I reckon Zidane should now prepare someone to take over from Benzema.

2. Atletico Madrid - this season I think they will be over Barca, but not good enough to win the title.
3. Barcelona - the internal problems that are right now at Barca makes them weaker, also the new coach did not have notable results at club level lately.
