Guys, have you checked "La Liga standings" right now? In the first and second place, no big teams are there. I am a bit surprised by this result even if it is still matchday2 and some big teams still didn't play yet (Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla). But I never imagine before that Real Madrid, Valencia, and Villareal started this season with unsatisfying results. Now, Granada and Real Betis are leading the table! Amazing starts done by these two clubs.

Nothing to surprise here. Granada had firing start to the season last year as well. The team even beat FCB at home in the start of the previous season and was the table topper for few matchdays. But now comes the real challenge, an away game against Atletico Madrid. I am pretty sure Granada will lose some points in this one.

While, Real Betis has to face reigning Champions at home. Madrid will win this one ease and go. Third seated Villareal will face Barcelona at Camp Nou and expected to lose 3 points as well.

So after Matchday three, although top three will most probably remain same but all three are expected to lose this weekend.

It was awful decision from Barca board to accept Atletico Madrid bid for Suarez. Barca has potentially given edge to its direct competitor. Suarez still has good couple of seasons left in him and being Barca fan, I would be lot happier to see him on Barca bench making some impactful substitution across the season rather than being the front man of Simeone's team.

I don't think due to age Barcelona want to release Suarez. Because if the reason is only his age, then why they didn't release Messi? I think Koeman don't like Suarez. Because it takes some time for new players to adapt to the team.

Furthermore, regarding Covid-19 Martin Odegaard when the first test was tested positive but the second test was negative. I hope Martin Odegaard performs and can play well against Real Betis this week.

Barcelona coach Koeman is slowly beginning to realize how difficult his job in Barcelona will be.
He has problems with the players and the Barcelona management has not stood behind him and doesn't support him.
Do you also have the feeling that he has already been sacrificed and that he is only a transitional solution to Barcelona?

Too lazy to make a meme but it is normal for Barca players, oldies or not, to not like him since he is a direct threat for all of them. 3rd best scorer in Barcelona history. There was ups and downs in these 6 years, but Suarez definitely came into history of Barca. And MSN trio (Messi, Suarez and Neymar) was probably best attacking triio I ever saw.
I watched emotional Suarez farewell and it's obvious how difficult for him to leave Barca.

I don't see nothing strange because just 2 rounds were played, while big teams haven't played yet or had just 1 game. Real Betis improved their squad and have great manager Pellegrini, so, they can fight for UEFA spots. While Granada were already solid last season. And forget about Valencia - they have turned into mediacore team with current management.

You are right, it is a quite bad start. But luckily, it isn't a loss, just a draw on the first match. Talking about Benzema, he isn't a bad striker, he is good. But yes, he doesn't really a striker with predator instinct. And not really good at the positioning. As a fan, I have expected a long time ago to see another top striker replacing his position in Real Madrid. I think Real Madrid needs a striker like Lewandowski, Kane, Aubameyang, or Agüero who can battle a lot with opposite defenders in the front line.

I could not believe it myself. I understand that his best years are behind him and that his wage is a problem for the club due to corona crises and loss of revenue but I am sure some solution could have been found. It seems like he really cares about Barca and I guess they could have talk about wage reduction and contract extension with him ending the career there. I don't know how much is club policy and how much is Koeman trying to show he is the boss.

Regarding Suarez as a striker, no matter the years he is still top player. Those volley shots of his are incredible and there is no other player in the world that hits them that good. He will be great in Atletico and this could be the year when both Real and Atletico finish before Barca. Sevilla could find them selves near the top as well.

All that being said, can't wait for the first Barca game to see what we can expect from them. As always a lot will depend on Messi and we need to see if he will play on his best after all those transfer problems and loosing his best friend in the squad (Suarez).

IMO, that happens because Real Madrid has no other strikers that have experience and skills better than Benzema. Also, Real Madrid never tried to look for top strikers as the substitution seriously. I don't know what's wrong with Real Madrid, they seem to keep Benzema whatever his performance all the season. I suspect the Real Madrid signed a lifetime contract for Benzema.

Big NO. Won the title must depend on the performance of all players in the club. Benzema cannot win the title if he plays alone. All players must have their roles both when they lose and win the title. Please don't make a kidding, Benzema isn't a great player as you said. I've already a Madrid fan for years, long before Benzema came to Madrid.

The only limitation would be in terms of injury and match ban but then, a team like Real Madrid should have a lot of other efficient strikers abay if I may borrow those words. Manchester city have got that and it's nice.

Actually, you didn't catch what I mean. I am just telling about Real Madrid's forward lineup or scorer. If you know about football then you must know the role of a skilled striker for a team. A team can never win a cup unless a team has a good forward or finisher. You said that Benzama is not a great player. Benzama is the 2nd highest scorer in last season. It shouldn't be a blind fan of a team. just watch the game and consider.

The chaos in Barcelona doesn’t seem to stop.
Conflicts occur at all levels, between players and coaches, but also between the president of Barcelona and the players and between the board members themselves.
There is a ruthless struggle for power and positions and I am afraid that in this universal war Barcelona awaits another unsuccessful season.

I can't really understand why people keep questioning Zidane after everything he has done and shown. And yeah, Benzema's one of the best, and he hasn't done anything to show he's shit. As a Barca fan, there are 2 players I hope leave or don't play in Real Madrid. Ramos first. Benzema second. Why is Zidane being questioned after winning?

I think if Zidane would have expressed the same confidence in Jovic as Benzema, then Jovic would have scored the same number of goals, and maybe more. But as we can see, Zidane trusts no one except Benzema. And not just does not trust. He is not even looking for a striker for transfer.
In Spain, there are teams that can seriously compete with Real Madrid in the fight for the championship. Don't forget about Aletico Madrid and Sevilla.
