Honestly Real didn't deserve the win yesterday. Sure it was a cool goal and all but they didn't play 90 minutes with domination, the game was way closer than it should have been. People see the score and see Real win again and then assume that it is just usual business but they are not looking that great. Since they are leading the league right now, everyone thinks that Real Madrid is doing fine and since Barcelona is doing bad right now they think it is bad.

However if you really check the games of both teams you would see that Real is just a little bit better, not a whole lot better and they just got lucky a few times over few games as well. Since, it has been a low amount of games available so far, I have to say that it is clear to me we are talking about a situation where Real may actually drop down the list if they keep this up, they need to get better.

In my opinion, this is a common victory, of which we will see many more in the championship. Teams cannot play every match as the last one at the limit - there is a long distance ahead and forces cannot be wasted. Real Madrid quickly achieved a comfortable advantage and there was no point in further sharpening the game. Falcao scored a goal at the end of the match and at that moment it was more profitable to “endure” until the final whistle than to run forward and increase the score again.

I don't think La Liga is falling because they have no longer Ronaldo or Messi. How good the competitive level in the league, cannot be determined by a few players only. If Barcelona becomes weaker this season, it doesn't imply that La Liga is worse now. It even makes something different and interesting than previously. But the time was exhausted, I felt with their departure the dominance of Barcelona and Madrid became reduced and that made the championship competition even more interesting.
