Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Yes ... Relax ... Sponds have chips to play with now or real soon (tomorrow?), and give them time to tweak the SP30s to early perfection (future firmware updates will make life better) given past performance.
I'd rather receive my pre-orders a little late with a nice 6TH/s, than have machines that perform average.

Ummm no... I would rather they deliver on time and then update the firmware as they have done previously. Let me clarify. Israel is not Gaza and Spondoolies is not going to be affected by this situation at all as there there is nothing that Israel can't handle with regards to this conflict. The idea anyone would worry about Spondoolies having any issues is simply ludicrous given actual situation on the ground. The only issue I could see would be refusal to allow the importation which could be problematic for a few countries like Malaysia, Indonesia etc... but that would have been a problem before the latest round of violence in Gaza. This is not the first time nor will it be the last time and that is unfortunate. Pure FUD either way since this doesn't affect business in Israel at all. They will ship on time barring any issues internally to SPTech not on what is happening in Gaza. |

They are still very much on time, as it is still July  It is also understandable that they dont comment at this point, as they are probably pulling 24/7 working days to get everything running. Even if DHL couldn´t ship, they would be able to locally host your units in their datacenter (atleast for the July batch, as it is very small). I also find it highly disrespectful and inhumane to reduce an armed conflict to "I hope my stuff wil ship in time". |

Even if DHL couldn´t ship, they would be able to locally host your units in their datacenter (atleast for the July batch, as it is very small). to interject when is gen 3 coming out? The sp30's are too slow to market preorder puts more risk onto the buyer. Also btc and bank transfers does the same. it increase buyers risk while decreasing sellers risk.
I would love to order in stock sp40 at 10 th and 0.3 watts a hash. with a cc or paypal not btc.

Is it true that the airliners stopped flights to Israel This is what I heard to the news. Minister of FA John Kerry announced this!!! Freight planes are often flying even though passengers are no longer transported. I do not know whether DHL flies from Ben Gurion though. In any way, spondoolies should have the capacity to host the small number of July batch units in their datacenter until flights are possible again, so please everyone relax and look forward to the first sp30s. |

Don't worry about shipping. Shippers fly into combat zones unless the airspace is closed. And even then, they'll move it by truck or sea to a friendly shipping point. Of course, if they nuke it then all bets are off.
I believe the US FAA just canceled all flights into Isreal today. Its truely a sad situation in that part of the world and then a plane just shot down as well over Russia. To all the staff at SP-Tech please stay safe. My prayers to you and your families. |
