Does anyone else see problem with 2.5.7?

I had one unit that had the same problem as jtoomim, but restart got the chip back up. I am downgrading to 2.5.6 right now.

I rolled back to 2.5.6 with Ziv's help yesterday but I am still getting that error :

17: disabled (bist cant start, stuck X)

hope my Asics did not get damaged or something

Maybe the code needs to be tweaked to restart those stuck asics or something after a while since it seems if I restart minergate or cgminer
the dead asic comes back for a while.

What worries me most though its the same Asic that fails all the time , sometimes 13 will fail as well.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Hi, it might be a dumb question but ..... can someone tell me if I can determine the kW usage of my SP31 based on the web interface settings or do I need a device similar to Kill-a-watt?

One of the PSU shows:
PSU[EMERSON1200]: 1472->1328w[1328 1328 1328] (->1361w[1361 1361 1361]) (lim=1330) 0c cooling:0/0x10007000

'slow corners' Huh go with that vocabulary in amt, ba or knc thread!!!
I see top hardware, good communication, best user support, nice ethics!!!
Da fuck do u want?Huh?? Angry

I only wish, it overpriced. In stock SP20 miner shipped in Time.
Why do I need to read it in a forum?
I want this information to my email. I want to know it before ordering and payment.

We found out that dropping the SP20 package may cause the boards to shift.

We got complaints from about 2% of non palletes customers. Most of the units can be fixed at home by replacing the boards.

We halt individual package shipments for one week, until we'll solve the issue.

If you got such SP20, contact support@ for miner assembly guide. If the SP20 was actually damaged, we'll RMA.

Guy

But still sells Spondoolies miners delivered  in  October.
http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/sp20-jackson-october-batch-1

Open your eyes. We have reached 8 November

Why a new software will make my miner only get worse?

The new software was the  speed only 1550GH/s, the same room, the same temperatures.

I paid for the last  SP20 November 5. 1360 USD,  and they can not find a suitable box for shipping?
On the same day paid Antminer S4, has already shipped.

Open my eyes that I, too, would be able to see the same .

How can you know about a shipping problem before ordering if the product was never shipped before? A bit redundant don't you think?

Yes, Overpriced, Compared to the  Antminer S4, which is also  In Stock hardware.
S4  with shipping 1381 USD  2000GH/s.   0,69 USD/GHs
SP20 with shipping  1360USD  1700GH/s   0,8 USD/GHs
Home mining is back:Home mining with the best technology available.

How can something that is same loud as a Avalon Patch1 miner, meant to be for home mining?
Would they have been deaf to all from their previous miners? If this is not the buyer's cheating...

KnC's Neptune's are huge fire hazards... and you have five of them!

You also paid $3,000 per TH.  LOL!

KnC is garbage, and the fact you're toting them as the "best miners at all" is pure comedy.

I would rather buy .8 bitcoins for $270 since that is what  a Neptune will mine in its lifetime, then buy one on Ebay next year for a souvenier with all the extra money saved.

I bought my 5 Neptunes used. First for 2800 euros (Two weeks old), and I paid for the others 4.25BTC - 4.5BTC
I bought a separate the Y cables and have no fire hazards.

KNC NEPTUNE  is still the best W/GHs miner.

The SP3+ units are great

so far from my experience the sp20s are underwhelming and I thnink that is what he is talking about.

From my  tests the issue seems to be somewhat power related.  I think the SP20 would have been a better machine

with an included PSU that could handle those chips.  The sp20 has already fried one of my PSUs ( a 1200Watt corsair)

right now I am using and 800Watt and a 1000 watt unit which should be plenty of overhead.

Sad thing is these chips are quite powerfull.   when I set the voltages to .79 (max) I'm getting 1.78 TH at 1200 watts but its far too unstable.

this is my most stable settings

1652.08Ghs at 1190 Watts

Temp Front / Back T,B 27 °C / 78,76 °C Fan
Speed90
Start Voltage 0.78 / 0.75 / 0.77 / 0.75

thx

That's (1472) the power at the wall for that PSU. You'll fry your kill-a-watt in 240V.

WTF .. am I still in the SPT thread ?

What you see there is the instantaneous power in watts. If you chart it over one hour, (because it's fluctuating up and down) the area under the chart line represents the energy used, and is expressed in Watt x Hour (Wh) or kWh if the numbers are big Smiley

The 4th chart HERE shows exactly what you look for.

after following zvis guidelines and attempting to recover my sp20 with an SP30 recovery SD, which failed.. Multiple times.

Then a fresh SP30 boot SD, which also failed.  Multiple times.

My SP20 now claims it is an SP30 -  and fails to run CGMiner (miner gate started but then stopped)

i asked numerous times if the SD cards were compatible - to which the reply was yes.

zvi has authorized it for return but that will only add to the daily losses.

That's (1472) the power at the wall for that PSU. You'll fry your kill-a-watt in 240V.
so that value can be used to estimate the electricity bill .... thanks!

Use a metered pdu.

I can upload a back up image of My SP 20 tonight. I didnt update shit after i put it back together. let me know what site is preferable. I am in Las Vegas and work till 3AM my time. Call it 330AM for me to run over to my shop.

after following zvis guidelines and attempting to recover my sp20 with an SP30 recovery SD, which failed..
