My two SP20's are in a my small warehouse with people and phones in it.  They pleasantly run all day with a fan speed of 30 with similar under-clock settings to what you have shared, Philip (and thank you for that!).  I haven't tried 20 because I've been content with 30.  They purr along at 1330 and 1375, the 1375 on less power too - just a more efficient machine.  The past few days I have cranked the power and fans up when we leave for the day, and back down to the above when we return in the morning.  The over-clock versus under-clock is moot in the recent hashing economy.

However, speaking of over versus under clocking, I did some maths the weekend before last, when BTC was at $375 USD.  I figured then, that from a profit standpoint, if your power costs were below $0.135 kw/h over-clocking made more money.  At $0.14 kw/h, and above, under-clocking was more profitable.  If I recall, I used 936 kw per month for OC, and 518 kw per month for UC.

The SP20's dropped in price today because I bought three more yesterday.  You're welcome.  Wink

Don't feel to bad. I have one from the first batch and pricing that's the slowest out of the four I have.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I have had this happen more then once to me.   Ice fury usb sticks killed me and gridseed blades were bad.

But in the case of sp20's  My timing was good.  all six are mining now during the paycoin rush.  Oh I tried 1 firmware update and set the fans to 20.  pretty nice

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

This may a question that has been answered but what is the price to ship an sp20 to the midwest usa (more or less)

trying to figure out if I want to dive in and get an sp20 ..running the mining operation I have as biz so can get
equip depreciation (IRS considers them computers) 5yrs 100% deductible off gross income thus a real (eventually)
25% off towards $$$ paid in real taxes (20% equip depreciation a year off gross income) after my 5 year plan on the biz.

anyway with that in consideration and likely no more home miners out of spondoolies in the future
figure I may just jump in..but need an idea more/less of what the shipping would be to get the real
price with the $50 coupon.

my zip is 56003 in case spindoolies on here is reading this and have access to such data

thanks

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

using the genesis calc at 10% diff and my eventual 25% off equip as a biz and the 50 buck coupon and the shipping I more
or less exactly break even on btc buy vs btc mine with electric (using full 728 price to buy vs the eventual 583.50 usd price to
mine etc)

then again is diff gonna stay at 10% or below next year at least>>>>hmmmmmm

may just do it for a toy factor...but 728 for btc seems to give me the same btc as mining with elec etc (less the psu i'd have to get)
even again with my equip depreciation (damn elec why could I not be in WA state.....grrrrrrrr 2c elec etc)

ah toys.....(will have to ponder this the next 40hrs or so)

Still having issues with my sp30 and an sp20

Some of the Asics constantly fail and stay in failed state no matter what I Do  : rolling back firwmware upgrading to newest all that nothing seems to work.

I cant get the sp30 to hash over 3k and the sp20 barely breaks 1TH with 3 asics down.

I get the feeling I have bad PSU's on the sp30

Still having issues with my sp30 and an sp20

Some of the Asics constantly fail and stay in failed state no matter what I Do  : rolling back firwmware upgrading to newest all that nothing seems to work.

I cant get the sp30 to hash over 3k and the sp20 barely breaks 1TH with 3 asics down.

I get the feeling I have bad PSU's on the sp30

I'm sure they will replace them with that sort of performance loss, have you tried emailing Guy or Katya with your support ticket details directly for an RMA?

For the SP20 they may just be able to send out a new board. But the SP30 may need a replacement unit.
