I have seen somewhere that it is no matter, that midfielder can enter for defender, as long as the formation exist as such (can't play with two defenders or similar), but not sure where, it will eventually came up tomorrow after Luton and Burnley finish theirs

is there a rule when player from bench is introduced into team
I had Botman in my team, intentionally, because I was not sure if he is going to play, but now there is no change for him from my bench (where I have two midfielders, and defender that is also suspended)

and with a mid from the bench, it will be 3-4-3 formation, since I had 4-3-3

Auto subs will take place after the game finishes tonight and Ward-Prowse will enter for Botman in your team. Same would happen even if Gusto was another playing defender.

Everything else goes. 4-4-2 formation guarantees first sub will enter no matter who misses out. If you start with 3 defenders, then your first defender subs enters.

Based on your reply, looks likely that Lamptey will go in for Botman not playing. Not a helpful substitution as Lamptey came from the bench and got a yellow. Need to start working on my subs moving forward.

I'm very surprised that Rashford didn't make the cut on the list of players with fallen prices. His performances in last 2-3 gw doesn't justify a midfielder in the 8M+ region.

The squad I have created after the wildcard is like this for now. I might get someone else instead of Eze maybe because I read some news like he wasn't going to play at the weekend. I was planning to get someone else instead of Mbeumo. However I couldn't find an elite midfielder who can be bought for that much money.

I would get Watkins instead of Alvarez and squeeze some Newcastle defenders in there.

it did happen after the match, I knew that it should happened, but forgot that Luton and Burnley have to play

No, Ward Prowse would still be the one to enter. As I said more than 5 times in this topic. Always first sub on the bench as long as that sub had a game and it doesn't force you to formation that isn't supported in the game.

Don't know how to word it any better than that. It is really quite simple once you get used to it.

I tried, but looking at their fixtures list, Rashford simply has to do something soon. In their next 6 games they have City and 5 bottom of the league clubs.
I hate myself for even selecting him, but he already dropped 0.2 points in price. Hopefully he does something, rises a bit and then I sell him after the Everton game.

  Same. I expected United to play poorly (though not as badly as they actually play), but I thought that Rashford would earn points. But it seems that after re-signing the contract with a significant increase in salary, he no longer worries about anything and for now he is dragging my team to the bottom. Not with Dan Burn at defence, it will take more than the new year to get this team burnout, they probably one of the best 3 squad depth in the league so except Eddie Howe can't manage the team properly they'll should do just fine to hang around, the form might that's for sure, just looking at their squad depth, if they're doing this okay with their best players from last season not even participating at their fullest yet, a healthy Newcastle side will be a force to reckon.

It is an important game that they have against Arsenal this GW, If they loose the game, they have also lost their top position on the table and it will become two consecutive losses for the team in the premier league. Alvarez and Doku will be very much needed against Arsenal that is why the coach may have decided to bring them in as substitutes for their UCL fixtures.

That's if he doesn't further drop significantly in prize before that and mess up your incoming intended transfer, I personally would have gone Trippier, but then Trippier already increased from the initial 6.7 to 6.8, and I think the hype or the form might be temporary so I'll just stick to budget for now and avoid unnecessary tinkering that'd end up costing me to take more points hit.

He was named to England's call-up list, meaning he is expected to miss this weekend's game and return after the international games. Before he returns, his price could fall again. Estu will be out for a lengthier period of time, therefore he is not worth keeping.

This weekend, I'll play another mind game with my captaincy option.

When I look at Manchester City's fixture the idea of creating a squad without Haaland doesn't look bad at all. However this is a very big risk. Because we are talking about a player who can score 4-5 goals in 45 minutes easily.

What is the probability of Darwin's being in the starting eleven this week? Klopp subbed him off together with Salah in the 45th minute of the UEFA Europa League match like he wants him to be ready for the weekend.

Very likely. Gakpo got injured in Liverpool's last game and Jota has an active suspension due to the red card he got from Tottenham game as well. So that leaves Salah, Nunez and Luiz dias as the ones to lead the Liverpool attack when they come head to head against Brighton (A team Liverpool have had difficulty to win throughout last season).

Nunez and Salah are just starters imo, No Gakpo obviously means more playing time for Nunez and he has been good lately.
