Former Super Eagles Defender Kadiri Ikhana is critically ill and hospitalized in Edo Teaching Hospital by  a retired Police Officer and the government is nothing about it. One thing you must know is that once you retire as a Super Eagles player, the Nigerian government is not responsible for your well-being again because they paid you for your service as a Super Eagles player, so I won't blame the Nigerian government for neglecting Kadiri Ikhana on his sickbed. Our retired Super Eagles players and present players should leave wayward life alone, and they should prioritize investing their money wisely so that when they experience any health challenge, they can be able to solve their problem by themselves rather than relying on the Nigerian government or individuals to help them solve their problem.

Maybe, that's just his fate because we still have ex Super Eagle players who are doing fine in their various establishment. One thing is having the opportunity to make money and another thing is having the ability to invest the money for your future. If you are a footballer and you are in your reigning days, invest the block money that you are receiving that time and don't think that you will reign forever. Football is for the young amd strong. One must get old as time passes on. It's what you invested that will take you through when you are no longer cashing out from the system.

This is just sad and regrettable that most people now push the blame on the government or anything that looks appealing to the eyes, because the government are the easy target when pushing blames, these guys were earning a lot during their days even though it's not up to the amount footballers of these days earn, but they fail to invest, forgetting that sport generally is a very short career, their are so many ex international out there that are doing fine financially because they invested their money into business, so it's very sad that he is such in a critical state just because he doesn't have money to pay for his medical bills, I  appeal to the government or any of his former colleagues to reach out to him and help him out from this difficult financial state, but this stands as a lesson to this our current generation that they should invest and prepare for the rainy days, because the rainy days must surely come.

I think that the three of them are fit to win the caf player of the year award because all of them deserves it's as they where not outstanding in the past season I will like Hakimi to win it because he really had a great campaign winning four trophies even though he doesn't has much goals but he was fantastic

Hakimi needed just last trophy to push him ahead of the CAF award contenders, if PSG had won the Club World Cup, definitely it won't be a competition anymore. Despite, considering PSG achievement and Hakimi as a co/major contributor in his team, Hakimi might be given a head chance of winning the award, Osimhen did very well but i don't think everyone agrees Galatasaray league to be competitive allowing him score such number of goals, unlike Premier League and French League. Regardless, all three are still up there and we can't detect finally who wins.

Hakimi doesn't need to win the Club World Cup for him to beat Victor Osimhen and Mohamed Salah in the race for the African Player of the Year award because the treble Hakimi won with PSG this season, which includes the UEFA Champions League trophy, is enough for Hakimi to edge Victor Osimhen and Mohamed Salah to win the African Player of the Year award. Even though I am a Nigerian, if I am allowed to vote for the next African Player of the Year award, I will vote for Hakimi because he deserves to win it.

 I like the way Achraf Hakimi silently made his way into becoming a strong contender for the African player of the year award because to be honest when you have the likes of Mo Salah and Victor Osimhen, he was a bit hidden. No one heard too much about him but he was doing his thing silently. If you ask me, I think he might have more chances of winning the award than Osimhen and Salah because if we look at it, the Morrocan has achieved more than these two in terms of trophies which makes him more likely.
 Hakimi missed out on the awards last year so maybe this year could be favorable because he seemed to become more visible and played key roles in his teams victories.

If this Caf award is not meant for Hakimi even if they had won the Club world cup nothing would have changed it because they would use another criteria to access them, meanwhile i think this season is a bit tougher in prediction because the last one was more certain.

Trophies and individual contributions will be used to access who deserves the CAF award, if the extent at which they eneded in the Club World Cup pulls him ahead of others in the ranking. Hakimi is not a striker or forwarder as Salah and Osimhen, if he has to be included in the race for CAF award, other achievements will be focused on, like titles and individual key moments for the club. I know we are Nigerians and it will be difficult to turn on our own, Osimhen did well but Hakimi was awesome and i think he deserves it.

If you ask me, individual contribution shouldn't be regarded because of the domestic league reasons, there are leagues that only one club is highly superior to every other while there are also leagues that has a lot of clubs on the equal strength so actually the contribution of players on those places will be very different and the players who belongs to the superior team on there domestic league will have so much contribution because they have all the chances to so including this on the criteria will certainly discriminate others that came from the opposite side of privilege team.

When I see players after retirement and sometimes after they quit the national team complain about being negleted I keep wondering if they expect to be catered for, for the rest of their lives cause I mean your well being matters and is the responsibility of the nation for the time when you play for them. I expect that as a professional athlete you should have investments for the future but most of this ex national players always end up very broke and poor at the end of their careers so how does this happen.

Zambian female team are people whom has one of the best female players in Africa and they have the same squad as the Nigerians female,  although in wining foreign clubs the Nigerians has done it more than Zambian female team because I have watched how they were undefeated twice but Zambian female was defeated all the time, however they have already started the match 30 minutes ago and the lucky side is the Nigerian female because they have 1:0 but the Zambian female team has been trying to score from distance attempts but no way.

mmmm 😋 this was not the type of result that was expected from this game because the super falcons have not been convincing in their performance especially when it comes to scoring of goals but this is football for you scoring five goals in one match is an impressive result this just goes to show the quality of the Nigerian side.


Disappointing result for the Zambians I think that in terms of the experience they are not there yet as the Nigerians showed the superior firing power and even dominated the play with this kind of result Nigeria is the team to beat tin this tournament

Nigeria women's football team played very well against Zambia women's football team and that match was quarter final of the tournament and we saw one sided game as players of Nigeria women's team looked in confidence and they did goal after goal and all players participate to do goal in this match because no one was prominent in this match but Ohale was a person who gave start in this match and she did goal at 2 minutes when both teams were preparing for the good game and after we saw two more goals in the first half of the match and Okoronkwo was a person who did second goal of the match and she did this goal at 33 minutes. I was aware of this match yesterday, but I didn't watch the match because I was very busy when the match was on. At first I thought the Nigerian Super Falcons wouldn't defeat the Copper Queens of Zambia because of the big odds the bookmakers gave the Nigerian Super Falcons at home to win against the Copper Queens of Zambia, but the Nigerian Super Falcons showed that odds don't really matter in the game, and they thrashed the Copper Queens of Zambia 5-0 and qualified for the semi-final of the Women's African Cup of Nations.

I feel so sad for ex Eagles player khadiri and I hope he gets the proper medication he deserves to get better soon, well I understand your point, not all the players that represented Nigeria in the Super Eagles squad back then were opportuned to generate wealth for themselves after serving their country some lived a lavish lifestyle and went broke while some went out of the field into another profession just like Khadiri and couldn't generate the block money they made from football, anyways I believe the country has paid him off for his services during his prime it's not anyone's fault that he didn't invest his money well, but then he still needs as much support at this critical point from the NFF, Ex teammates, the government, current Eagles players and even kind heart individuals.

If your build the right network while you're still in your shining days as a football star, there's no way you're going to regret getting involved in the national team if Nigeria just because your later end is not talking a turn that you thought it to take.
