Victor Osimhen move to Chelsea is in the hands of Osimhen and not Chelsea. Chelsea has a pay structure that they're not exceeding for even Cole Palmer that's one of the best players in the world for both assists and goals. Osimhen is eyeing the money instead of building a legacy for himself in Europe.

They needs to lower his charges for transfer fee and salary or no team in Europe will come for him. He'll be receiving offers from Saudi Arabia that'll be tempting him in joining that league but it is going to be a big career mistake since Ronaldo is leaving there and the hype will be dying down soon.

That’s true, his aim for for big pay will actually delay his achievement and success in Europe as a striker because he is an African player, they will not value him much than other strikers if his caliber, and for the fact that he plays for Galatasaray he will get low money payment bids unless if he will go to Saudi Arabia where they will pay him huge sum of money.

However, Napoli also have big role to play in his career, the money they are demanding for Osimhen is much, no team will come with such bid and take him from them even though he worth it; therefore, for them to have a smooth deal, they need to reduce their demand and sell him with average money.

He should come play in a champions league team with hype and prove himself to the world then watch the hype go up then he can start demanding higher wages.

If he play in one of the top teams in Europe, he can testify to the world how good he is by scoring good number of goals because he will be judged based on his performance in bigger competitions like the Champions League. If he certifies many people then he will get bigger bids from many teams and he can then demand for big pay.

Unfortunately, our African players are not given much value in Europe. If Victor Osimhen were a European or Latin American player, many clubs would pay the amount that Napoli is asking for and would pay him the salary that he is asking for. I have already commented on this in the past. The amount of money that Chelsea spent last season on new signings exceeded the amount that Napoli is asking for.

In other words, if Chelsea were really interested in signing Victor Osimhen, they would have paid the amount of money that Napoli wants. Even Manchester United, Arsenal, and Manchester City are clubs that could easily pay the amount that Napoli wants. But I see that the big clubs are not interested in Victor Osimhen.

Chelsea not willing to sign Victor Osimhen is really funny to me because some of the overrated guys in the team can't outperform Victor Osimhen and his goal scoring abilities will even help the team to win matches and have good number of goals cause Victor Osimhen is a goal getter. I understand your points here, this is about reputation as you have said, but sometimes we need to focus more on where we can easily shine out our career than running after a name that helps nothing much to our profile, you also know that if he chooses between Manchester United and Arsenal, he can easily make his last chances to create a record that could put  him to the peak of his career, than when he go to Manchester and acheive nothing from how they have been full of disappointment this season.

Having a prolific striker is one piece of the pie. You already need a good midfield that can create of lot of chances where he can score. Only a few strikers have managed to maneuver their way even though they don't have elite midfielders to feed  them. So unless Chelsea is planning to bring more reinforcements, I don't think it's worth it.

This is true and I agree with what you said you know the truth about rumors sometimes is that the real information may be hidden from the media but the media in a bit to get traffic will present what they want us to believe. From the recent information it seems Chelsea has a spending limit for each of their players and they don't want to go beyond that in a particular player so I think that could be the reason why the Victor Osimhen's deal may likely not happen again.

Nigeria is currently participating in the Unity Cup competition.  It is a four-nation tour tournament that is hosted in the UK. Participating countries include Nigeria, Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica. The competition is designed to foster unity among nations' historical and cultural ties.  Nigeria struggled to beat the Black Stars of Ghana while Jamaica secured a win against Trinidad and Tobago.  Nigeria will now play in the finals with Jamaica in the finals.

Chelsea has proven time without number that the financial aspect is not a problem. Instead, my primary concern is that the current Chelsea midfield might not be enough to unleash the full potential of Oshimen.

Oshimen is a grade-A striker and will excel really well when paired with quality midfielders. I'm a big fan of Oshimen and will want to see him play in a club when he can reach his potential.

You beat me to this . I am hearing about the Unity Cup for the first time. And more surprising is that Nigeria came in as the defending champions. They won in it I'm 2004. And after about 19 years, they are winning it again. How many of bet on this game? Jamaica is not a strong team but they came prepared as it was penalties that determined the winner. I didn't find any good information on what the Unity Cup is about and how teams are selected to participate.

This is a very good development for the Super Eagles of Nigeria under the new head coach Eric Chelle. He just lead the team to his first trophy in charge of Super Eagles. Congratulations to all players of the Super Eagles, they played really well today because they really showed some seriousness in their performance today u like on other games, they won the trophy after defeating Jamaica on penalties which is very good and a well deserved victory.

I hope they will use the same energy to play in the next phase of international brake because that will be when they will play the World Cup qualifiers, and we need them to put in their best in the remaining matches because we can’t afford not qualifying to the World Cup just like we were stopped by Ghana in the last World Cup.

His departure to Galatasaray was unplanned but fate had a separate plan for him. Everyone expected him to move to Chelsea, Manchester, or Saudi Arabia, but he moved to Turkey at the last minute. Victor experienced the best time as a footballer in Turkey, winning the Turkish League, Turkish Cup, Golden Boot (highest goal scorer), and Player of the Season.

Nigerians is really interested in the next move of Osimhen. I will be disappointed if he decides to move to the Gulf League because he won't play competitive football. Victor is a viable candidate for the Ballon d'Or, and we want to see him win it in the future. Moving to a top European club will be the only way he could win this award.

If he won the best player of the year at Galatasaray, and also the top goal scorer in the league, I was wondering who then won the best player of the year in Turkish league. We've seen more than enough of Oshimen at Napoli, so conquering the Turkish league was never a problem. The question now is, what's next?. There is already too many anticipations on his next move because Galatasaray isn't much of a top club when it comes to European football. It seems everyone wants to watch Oshimen in the Champions league and a more competitive league.

Whichever way, I hope he continues to maintain such performance both club wise and internationally. The criteria for the next African footballer of the year will be more interesting, because at this point, there are about 3-4 players that has done really well this season.
