So many strong teams won't want to fix a friendly match with the Nigerian team because they see the Nigerian team as a team that is not strong enough for them to play against, and they believe the Nigerian team can't be a strong test for them if they play a friendly match with the Nigerian team. Nigeria team is a big African team in name and not in playing good football, and that's the reason why the Nigerian team is finding it difficult to play a friendly match with strong teams in the world.

It’s a shame to be reading such comments about the Super Eagles because as our title implies “the giants of Africa” we are suppose to be at the top of the standing representing Africa not being mentioned as a side nobody wants to fix friendly games with it’s so sad.

But the Super Eagles team is still among the best teams in Africa despite having so many poor results lately, I think the major reason why there are no friendly's yet is because most of the clubs in Europe is still on and most of the guys can not leave their teams to travel back to play friendly matches.

Politics in the NFF is one thing that needs to be corrected cause it has affected everything in the national team and unless something is done the poor performances and some bad news about the team will never stop.

In Africa, you can't talk about football without mentioning the Super Eagles. The Super Eagles have always had a good record in football, but the challenge the team is facing now is poor management, and for a long time, this has been affecting the performance of the Super Eagles. The Super Eagles already have good players who are playing in some of the big clubs in the European leagues. The Super Eagles may be facing challenges that are depriving them of reaching the level they are supposed to be at. But I don't rate Super eagles to be the worst team.

The super Eagles have good players that are doing well in their various clubs in Europe but when it come to the national team, their performance has been abysmally poor. this goes to show only one thing and the thing is that, the players don't give in their all whenever they are playing for the national team, except for some few players who are zealous to see the team perform, and they put their personal effort, if not you could see the lackadaisical attitude of some players, and the issue of mostly carrying players from Europe and not mixing them with the home-based players who are hungry for success is another mistake the Nigerian football team is doing.


There's never been anytime NFF has been free of corruption and mismanagement, but most people never observe in those early days because the players were delivering, we still have coaches like late Christian chukwu who have complained about his wages been owed over the years by the Nigerian football federation. But in as much as the NFF is corrupt, we will need to see a super eagles team that will go to the world cup that's if they will qualify and perform better.

I've said a lot about Victor Osimhen already who recently won their Turkish Cup and should most likely win the league come Sunday if they win. Mo Salah could also end up as the premier league player of the year IMO with the recent nominations. Imagine this was the premier league and champion league that Osimhen is doing all this, he'll be getting better shout out for the Ballon d'Or as Lamine Yamal has been getting lately without having as much impact as other players. To win personal honours, you need PR more than your show working. With the right PR and your little efforts, you'll go places that you didn't imagine and that's why you need to be in a top club. Mo Salah has been in great form for Liverpool this season, and his goals and assists helped Liverpool beat their rivals in the race for the Premier League title this season, so I think Mo Salah is in a better position to win the Premier League Player of the Year than any other player. I like your statement "If" they beat Milan, then Hakimi would be very much qualified to be the next African footballer of the year, cause of his good contribution to his team Paris Saint-Germain in both the Champions League and French Ligue 1 moreover he's already won the Ligue 1 so winning the Champions league would make him the best candidate for the award.

This did not started today, it has been one of the reasons why some of the Super Eagles players in the past lost interest in playing for the Super Eagle national team if not for their passion to show up their talents in the world cup you wouldn't have had the skillful players we've seen in our lifetime play for the Super Eagle team, even sometimes they're been owed their match bonuses. I feel like he dropped after all that but still has his head high up finishing as the second highest goal scorer for his club. I'm super proud of him.

One thing i observed in Nigeria and NFF is that they don't value what they have, not just valuing but making good use of it. It's hard to see any Nigerian player being benched in club games, we have the full squad, but why aren't we winning.

He might be a defender but I think Achraf Hakimi should also be on the list of best players globally. The Moroccan player has contributed in no small measure to the success of the French side PSG. As a defender has also been scoring some important goals for his club like the one against Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. I think he would be nominated as the best player in Africa if PSG finally wins the Champions League.  Mo Salah, Victor Osimhem and Ademola Lookman all had splendid seasons in their respective clubs.

We can only be hoping of having a better governance, ever since I was a boy honestly this misappropriation and misplaced of priority over what it is meant to be has always been there, there has never been any future plans yeah every opportunity given are used for their present and selfish interest, the major problem in this level of corruption is that the predecessors not completely allowing their successors to take the full charge of discharging their obligatory responsibilities without having a share, it has been business for them rather than fulfillment of purpose, money budgeted for a certain thing will no longer be utilize appropriately for the purpose of which it was given for. However, let hope for the better days to come.

Despite the fact that the NFF are sometimes annoying with their decisions about when monies should be released, the thing is that the truth must sometimes be told, for every of the game every Nigerian player comes from oversea, there are budgetary allocation that also serve as match bonus to those players to cover their transportation to and fro, once a player is not with his club, the national team takes responsibility of him especially when it's about international duties, in that regards I would like to let you know that the NFF sometimes spend a good fortune whenever they need that rises especially when is about the super Eagles.
