The Nigerian Super Falcons have made us proud again. They gave the Copper Queens of Zambia a strong fight that made them concede five goals. The Falcons maintained their unbeaten and clean sheet run. Tgenwill now meet either South Africa or Senegal in the Quarter-final. The Nigerian girls have always been outstanding in Africa and I hope they will replicate this feat in global competitions.

I didn't have time to watch the match, but I watched the highlights afterwards and was impressed by the Nigerian girls' performance. Our girls will now play in the semi-final match against any of the country that qualify between South Africa and Senegal. Also the Moroccan girls are working hard to advance to the final after defeating Mali 3-1 in knocked out stage. They are currently in the semi-finals, where they will face either Algeria or Ghana. Nigeria and Morocco girls will advance to the final according to my prediction, But I can't guess who will win this wonderful prize among them because both have the ability to lift the Women's African cup of Nations trophy.

Congratulations to the Super Falcons. Great game. But my congratulations is not complete until I see them bring home the cup. I fear the South-African side because they are a very strong team. They have had consistent wins in their past matches. If we eventually get to face the Senegalese team, I will not fear, I think it will be an easy one for us.

I haven't watched the South African women in the Women's African Cup of Nations, so I don't know if they will be a difficult opponent for the Nigerian Super Falcons if they meet in the Women's African Cup of Nations. With the way the Nigerian Super Falcons played in the group stage of the Women's African Cup of Nations and the way they dominated the Copper Queens of Zambia yesterday, I believe if they play against the South African women, they will beat them.

Hakimi doesn't need to win the Club World Cup for him to beat Victor Osimhen and Mohamed Salah in the race for the African Player of the Year award because the treble Hakimi won with PSG this season, which includes the UEFA Champions League trophy, is enough for Hakimi to edge Victor Osimhen and Mohamed Salah to win the African Player of the Year award. Even though I am a Nigerian, if I am allowed to vote for the next African Player of the Year award, I will vote for Hakimi because he deserves to win it.

Osimhen was unfortunate to be outside Europe and the Nigeria team didn't contribute much to this even after all his effort, we are still fighting for our world cup qualifier. These are among things put into consideration and that's why I can say as ironic as it seems Hakimi deserves it.

You are not wrong here and I also share the same sentiment with you, though not just in recent times, in football generally defenders are not given the honour they deserves, even though they are very instrumental in the successful of the team, and if you look at the performance of hakimi through out this past season in all competition, he has been very good, and considering all that he won and how far they went in the club world cup that they lost to Chelsea, he has no rival for this award here, but since it's through voting, nothing is promised, especially when defenders are not favoured in things like this.

Then as for victor osimhen, he is plying his trade in Galatasaray, which is a Turkish team in Europe, though some might say that they are not among the top five leagues in Europe which is actually true,  but his chances of winning this award here is very slime considering the team he plays for and the performance of our super eagles this year.

This shouldn't be something we need to debate on. As it stands now, no other player deserves the African best player of the year award than Hakimi. It is crystal clear he won it this year. So any other observation  does not matter at this point, including the discussion of him not winning the Club World Cup.

The Club World Cup tournament was just introduced and it happens in every 4 years, while the CAF best player award is a yearly thing. You cant use a 4 year cycle competition to judge a player performance for one year. We should think about a lot of thing before saying them.

I like the way our African female are performing and Nigerian Falcons in particular, they really shows the ability in what they were made of, beating Zambia is not by a mere chance, but with their full capacity they made the victory on a flawless victory as Gambia couldn't afford to even made it to a single goal score, what a pity, the Nigerian Falcons are better in their matches these days and can still do more better in the future.

You're right from the start of this competition the standard of play has been really high as all the matches has been fantastic the Nigerian falcon's needs to be commended for the way that they executed this game scoring five goals is a good one for the standard of play because it's not easy to score five goals in one match

Anyways as they step into the semi finals with a grand style I believe they'll still deliver better results and go straight to finals and win it regardless of whether they're meeting with Senegal or South Africa, I so much believe in the Falcons and I believe they'll bring back the trophy.

Same to you, I am completely optimistic about the current performance of the Super Falcons, especially when they have won 5-0 against a strong team like Zambia. Naturally, the Super Falcons currently have a higher chance of winning the semi-finals than Africa. The betting odds have the same probability. Even if South Africa wins 4-1 against Senegal, they will not be able to defeat the Super Falcons. I believe that if the Super Falcons show their usual performance, they will be able to win this match and I expect the Super Falcons to win there regardless of who wins in the final, Morocco or Ghana.

I barely watch the Nigerian male team play cause they're so disappointing especially when you expect them to win but the female team is always standing out and do well in the Afcon female tournament even when they don't win it.

Nigerian males used to perform as if the Nations League isn't important to them. Only a few of them used to put in efforts, just look at their position in the World Cup qualifier is very poor, out of 6 matches that they played, they got only 7 points and they are currently fourth on the table. Imagine they qualify to the World Cup they will just go and disappoint us, and when you look at their performances in their clubs league, they're playing well there.

But look at how our girls representing Nigeria brilliantly, and I believe if they continue like this, they will surely win the women's Afcon trophy.  South Africa won Senegal in penalty kicks and will meet our Nigerian girls in the semi-finals, and I don't have any worry for them because Nigerian girls play as a team and They convert cross balls into goals quickly. It's true that they played better than their male.

I haven't watched the South African women in the Women's African Cup of Nations, so I don't know if they will be a difficult opponent for the Nigerian Super Falcons if they meet in the Women's African Cup of Nations. With the way the Nigerian Super Falcons played in the group stage of the Women's African Cup of Nations and the way they dominated the Copper Queens of Zambia yesterday, I believe if they play against the South African women, they will beat them.

If you have watched some other African women who has played very nice that's example of how the South African women played and I have watched them play with the Nigeria women on the CAF women qualification twice if we should count it and they had a very strong players on the forward line plus the center midfield but the first was won by the Nigerian women one to nail while they returned back again to play a goal less draw so actually they are very important and they have the squad to carry them to the semi finals or even finals because if the Nigerian women can reach there definitely the can.

Tomorrow semi final match between the super falcons of Nigeria and their South African counterpart promises to be fierce as both teams are in fine form south Africa is the current champions of the women's cup of nations so they will like to win this game and stand a chance of retaining their title and with a young and energetic team on display they look sharp going into this game.



Nigeria how ever are the favorite going into this game as they where merciless against the impressive Zambian female team as they thrash them 5:0 this game is Nigeria to lose because everything is favouring Nigeria to win, let see which team will be more tactical going into this game because the winner of this game is likely going to become the champion of this tournament
