This is a quick display and show of our African brothers dominating for their various clubs and also dominating the top competitions in Europe.. Mo Salah would have been a Ballon d'Or candidate but immediately he got knocked out things changed. Victor on loan also, ion need say shit about him, yeah? I saw Serhou Guirassy score three solid goals against barcelona but shit wasn't enough to help them qualify.  He is also the second highest goal scorer in Bundesliga chasing Harry Kane.

Am proud in seeing that the African football players are doing well in bringing back the glory of the regions back as we are now breeding on new set of players, this present generation is working hard to produce world classic players who could make them proud and compete with other global players with the international reputation and professional outstanding performance, these players can still do more better than they have done, if they have more chances of making it once again.

I want to see more African players who grew up playing in the streets, without boots shine in their clubs. It is so inspirational and motivating to those in Africa who look up to them to know that they can too. In terms of this in general, I want to see this performance too in our African football. Where one day, an African country will be so good in football that they will win. Ghana got close to this once but since then, no other country has.

I don't see Nigeria winning the afcon this year because with the way that we are playing there is a very big work to do  by the coach of the Nigerian national team we are lacking in terms of quality because our team is really performing below expectations with the way that we are playing if we can't win teams like Zimbabwe in the world cup qualifiers I don't see the probability of Nigeria winning the Afcon this year because there are allot of countries that are ahead of the Nigerian team truth be told

The Super Eagles team are not reliable enough for me to put my hopes high in the coming AFCON. The past years I have heard my heart broken and hopes chattered from supporting the Super Eagles all the way in international competitions, it will take much convincing to do that again.

Truly hopes are loss on Super Eagles, I hope it builds back again soonest. Let's see what the new coach would do because the sole aim he was employed as Super Eagles coach was to deliver good results for the Super Eagles, winning the AFCON and, most importantly, for the Super Eagles to qualify for the World Cup.

It is noted by most football fans that the Super Eagles have the caliber of players to win matches. Getting to see how badly they have performed many times keeps getting the majority of Nigerians confused because, by right, Super Eagles shouldn't have difficulties in winning matches, talk more about drawing or losing anyone when the expectation was for them to win.

The Super Eagles have taken it as a tradition not to perform well when invited to play for their home country. I have always known them to be playing below expectations and the problem is not from the coach, instead the problem might be due to lack of financial encouragement from the management board to the players. It has gotten to an extend that some of our players are been owned some certain amounts of funds by the management board that are yet to be paid and this has been a  discouragement to the players from giving out their best in the field because there are under paid.

Nigeria have quality players that are performing very well in their various clubs abroad. Or haven't you been asking yourself why our players are performing to standard when playing in their clubs but once invited to play for their beloved home country,they will start playing below expectations. This is a clear show that the players are intentionally playing below expectations and it pains me for that. The best we can do is to continue to give them our supports and hope for a better change and improvements in their playing pattern in the field.

Even NFF are not doing well to encourage these players and motivate them to do better. If the NFF change their ways and make playing for the country enjoyable and a thing to be happy doing then things will be better. They should try shifting their focus on getting players from the local league to the national team.

Before we began to heard about all this things there priority between the national call and club side cannot be the same. But even as painful as it is the players will not consider what happened to Christian Chukwu because they will not allow it, if there was any money the NFF was supposed to pay them they will work to it that they gave them the money without entertaining postponement of payment, so if there is anything the players will learn is about not allowing the case of this deceased to be there future national story. They will all come back with one mind to face what is against them.

So unfortunate that stories like this don't come out until something tragic happens. Even if they pay to his family, Chukwu who worked for it did not get to enjoy any part, what a big slap on his commitment to Nigeria and NFF. When we worry about seeing some Nigerian players neglecting Super Eagles to play for England, France e.tc we tend to call them out for abandonment of nationality meanwhile our approach to players are filthy. See the case of Osimhen and Finidi, it takes a lot of love for Osimhen to return playing for Nigeria with the same commitment of action, same intensity to win games and take Nigeria to World Cup qualification.

Was it when he died the issue about the money came out?, from what others said I don't think it was the time people learnt about it because there was someone that said the NFF came public to denied not owning him any money but though the matter wasn't as serious as this because people was not bordered about it but it was after he passed it became as if it was now everything started, so perhaps if he was still alive it would have still been silent the way it was but his passed away made it a public matter. Is not our approach that made those Nigerian players choosing another country to play for over Nigeria it was just the passion for the country that made them, we still have some other players who has the right to play for another country but they like Nigeria instead, so if it was because of that they wouldn't have been encouraged to play for Nigeria.

I won’t blame these European based players for such behavior because if the NFF had put in place pleasant measures to give comfort and good hospitality to these players who have accepted the call to represent their country instead of ill treatments tell me why they will not give their all for the course. Imagine owing these players wages and allowances meant for them and their upkeep during competitions.

Just like everyone other person, these Europe bases players will always want to respond well to where they are been treated the best and gets the best pay but back here we want to get the best from them and yet treat them the way we feel we can, the NFF understands this I believe, what's left with them if to taking that step to get that issue of how best to treat the players resolved. The things these players need to perform well are basics not even them asking for too much.

There have been times where the whole team have to train outside the country which I don't consider a good one, the NFF could provide them with the needed facilities back here  to the International standard and get them to perform very well as they should  but some how the players get to suffer the poor management by NFF and they are still expected to perform as much as they do at their club side which is very sad.

Love how our African brothers are making the continent proud, so we'll be getting our flowers more often as I think we're still having some little bit discrimination in the awards and accolades because I know of seasons when players didn't win the champions league but still got the Ballon d'Or. The champion league shouldn't disqualify Mo Salah because I know if same happen to other favourites, it won't had disqualify them. This one is another terrible reality that players have to face in the country. There is just poor player welfare on so many levels. These and others problems that the leadership of the NFF have refused to resolve is what will continue to make it very difficult and close to impossible for the super eagles to win the African Nations Cup ever again or even the world cup. Though I'm very sure that the management of the Nigerian Super Eagles has actually not been effective when it comes to the welfare of it's national players when it comes to the basic necessities they needed to boast their morale, but not taking proper medical care of them after incurring an injury during a national game is actually out of this world, as it literally very annoying and discouraging in case of next time. Because these are duties the Nigerian Sport administrator "Ibrahim Musa Gusau" is ought to have taken care of, but it's quite unfortunate they keeps playing politics with everything, which if this is not probably handled, it's likely to discourage many of our upcoming international Football players.

Don’t you think that the lack of welfare is as a result of the players discipline and as a result of the teams the players are playing abroad that will never allow the Super Eagles medical team to treat the players because the team the players are playing will want to maintain their players health. As a result of the majority of the players playing in the Super Eagles are all playing abroad, the medical team will not bother to be well equipped since they are not staying long with the players, maybe they will only be serious when they are facing big competition.

I don't understand why you guys blame the NFF for absolutely anything, there is no body/association that is not without its own challenges or issues, even FIFA is constantly being accused of corruption. C'mon guys, if the players are not performing, we have to look at their performances on the pitch and call for improvement, AFAIk, our boys are paid well, and we have better players abroad than in our local league, so there is no solution there.

I have heard of this quite a number of times in the past but I haven’t seen it discussed here before until now. This is very bad in all aspects and they should desist from doing this if now it’ll cost their players to not want to always come home to play for the national team as how they’re treated is not proper for them to perform optimally. There is this joy in every player when called upon by their national team but in the case of Nigeria, they may not feel the same.

Due to their poor welfarism I also heard of a time one of the top players in the national league had to use his money to settle other players since he was more successful than them after coming from a tournament and the government was yet to disburse them quickly as they should. All this can weak the morale of players, so we should not be surprised that they play better and perform better in their club game than they do in the national team level.

Unfortunately, the corruption in our government also affects our national team.  We want a high performance team but don’t want to spend the money on grassroot football. We want to win international competitions but do not have world class or even standard facilities for training. We want to host international competitions and be seen as a football nation but we only have one ”standard stadium” in the country. What a joke.
