It’s true that African football can be quite aggressive but I don’t believe that is a valid excuse for Victor Boniface’s performance in the Super Eagles. I clearly understand how you felt about the team but there is something you said I would say is not right, I don't think anybody will put confident on a club during a critical time, there is no club that would be losing till 80 minutes of the match and someone will give there 100 percent confident of equalizing because that is too much to expect, although I'm not saying equalizing cannot take place anytime but it mostly comes unexpected, actually even some of the countries in Africa that perform more than us, there people can only hope but will not be certain confident on that time for equalizer. However the keeping aspect of the super eagles is excluded because we love what is coming from there but just some players has lost there performance.

I never said that is the reason why he has been disappointing for the Super Eagles, but sometimes it feels like he would enjoy content creation better than football, lol, footballers usually try as much as possible to limit their social media presence, but not him. There should be a limit to anything they can do, we cannot just expect that the coach and players should be left alone to do as they like, even though there is limit to the extent at which the NFF could relate or interfere to playing a match or relate with players and coach affairs, they are the governing council, they can only made policies and also try to implement rules, guidelines and oversees the general activities in football sports.

Another thing to consider is how these same players needed to related with their own selves, the responsibilities of the coach over the players as team, while NFF taking full charge when it comes to the overall assessments in football matches.

although if the invite you meant was to go outside the club to invite, the coach might actually not going to be allowed because is only when you no a player will you no if they're qualified to be hired and for this coach he is not from the country so making the selection of players might be making a mistake in the sight of the NFF but but however since players are the people that work with the coach they should have a provision that the coaches will still be able to screen players he would be working with because making selection for him will worry the effectiveness of strategy adaptation by those players.

It's not about hate bro, Nigerians are naturally passionate about everything, so when victor osimhen isn't available, they expected victor Boniface to replace him very well because he is playing in a top team in Europe, but he has mostly struggled due to the physicality of African football and it's one part of his game he really needs to adjust if not, even the coach will get tire and give up on him on the longer run because their are players in the sidelines that will do better than what he is doing if given a chance.

 He really needs to change the narrative of his super eagles career very fast because everyone is losing patience with his constant lackluster performance in the colours of our super eagles. The coach and technical team of the super eagles decides who plays and who doesn't so I'm sure that they are noting the reactions of fans. It is for to them to decide if Victor Boniface, is capable to be in the super eagle's team because they are accountable to us. I think that Nigerians should give the player a chance including others because our players are always criticized when we are not seeing results. Let us understand that club engagements are quite different from national team callups, playing for the national team is temporary and they always have to readjust their styles of play.

When it was just creating of memes, it wasn't all that bad but with the direction he's headed, it's no doubt it's going to affect his career and keep dragging him really bad. For most of the active ballers both in Nigeria and outside of the country, the extent they get carried away on the media is nothing close to what Boniface does. Even if they do so, it's likely going to be during the breaks when they are not all too engaged that they might just want to be too visible on the media but with the way Boniface is going and how bad his game has been expecially at the country level, there's no two ways about it, he might just be missing it in some way.

His exit from the national will eventually come faster than most of his other colleagues and by then, it will be more clear to him that showing up for his country is just a privilege and never a right that he should feel entitled to. Other quality attackers are coming up by the day and with time, the attacking role might become too big for him to handle at the national level when a standing replacement might have been brought into the team.

Forget that nigga. He who wants to leave Super Eagles, let him do that, the Super Eagles future doesn't hang around their neck. So many influential players have left The Super in the past, the Super Eagles didn't cease to perform because of them or try to perform less because of them, talk more of someone who is known for not giving their best in the field of play for the Super Eagles team.

I know the Super Eagles management board won't think about Boniface quitting to play for the Super Eagles again. Instead, they will see it as an opportunity given to other players to showcase themselves to the world.

You forget that in as much as we have a coach who's not from this country to take charge of the senior national team we still have Nigerians who are also working with him, that's these guys are not in any way part of the NFF and they have every right to work as a team to help out the coach who doesn't have ideas of players to invite or something. My problem is, those who are the head of bringing a new coach are too much in control that sometimes it seems like they are the ones acting as the coach. I remember when one of the foreign coaches can't remember his name said that he should be the one calling the shots like inviting players he wants but the Nigeria Football Federation never gave him the job because his demand didn't match what they want and you know that only tells how political our football is.

If most Nigerians can reason along with you, trust me the level of tantrums we see Will certainly reduce, I understand how passionate football fans can be, everybody wants to see his/ her team win, and if you are the player who's wing is leaking then your criticism will be on a higher level, I understand all of that. But an average Nigerians should know that in last 10 years, our entire Super Eagles team is nearly nothing to write home about, the last time we won AFCON was in 2013, as at then we had some good home based players in the super Eagles team, who brought in their own zeal into the team coupled with the European base players.

 But today, we only have European based players occupying almost every wing, some even play average clubs in Europe, some are bench warmers, some are not in their club first eleven, and we are saying, this is not the best way to manage a team, coaches should do more to scout for good talents within the country and merge them together with this European guys. The Papilo's, the JJ's and finidi George we celebrate today, where all homebase, trust me a home based player has a different zeal and its more passionate.

I don’t believe the rumor that Victor Boniface is leaving the national team. He is not the only player that has been criticized by Nigerian fans. Iwobi was bullied and yet he did not quit the team. Like you said, Victor Boniface should grow a thick skin and turn his anger towards improving his performance. When Kylian Mbappe first joined Real Madrid he struggled to meet the expectations of the fans but now he’s scoring goals and giving assists for the team, likewise Victor Boniface can do the same with the Super Eagles.

Like you said, Victor Boniface should grow a thick skin and turn his anger towards improving his performance. When Kylian Mbappe first joined Real Madrid he struggled to meet the expectations of the fans but now he’s scoring goals and giving assists for the team, likewise Victor Boniface can do the same with the Super Eagles.

Such news arise from the imaginations of people Victor Boniface is just starting his national team carrier so quiting now is what is not a good option the fact is that Victor Boniface is a good player every player struggles at one time of their career remember Victor oshimen too was once struggling in the national team before he picked form so I believe quitting the national team is a good thing for Boniface to do right now

I saw the news about him quiting the national team and if he did that because of how the fans reacts to the way he has been performing I think he deserves it because he hasn't given the fans something to cheer about and you'd agree with me that Boniface looks like a joker on the pitch even with his club Leverkusen, no much force as an attacker, there are days he'll play well not for the national team but for his club Bayer Leverkusen and if you check his records in the national team is nothing to write home about and like the first poster said that he needs to grow a thick skin I think he has already, mere looking at him you'd know and he doesn't care about what people say about him. I believe he has already given up since things are not working for him the way he expected that's why he choose to quit the national team.
