So far so good, I'm impressed with how African players have turned up for their various clubs this season. I've said a lot about Victor Osimhen already who recently won their Turkish Cup and should most likely win the league come Sunday if they win. Mo Salah could also end up as the premier league player of the year IMO with the recent nominations. Furthermore,  the 30 years old Desser playing for Rangers is also the highest goal scorer for the Scottish league. The absence of Victor Boniface still bothers me. A massive change from last season. WYT?

Victor osimhen has really been impressive this season at Galatasaray, this is a player that left Napoli under an uncertain circumstances that ordinary would have affected his mental health and his overall performance upon arriving at Galatasaray on loan, today he is the highest goal scorer in the Turkish league. If not for anything I really want to salute his resilience, because he has shown that he has a stronger mental capacity to handle situations. Let's hope in the next transfer window if he either elongate his stay at Galatasaray or go to a new club.

I think that if these players and other talents play as good with their national team as they played in their European leagues then African nations will be fine. If we talk about the origins of these players then European nations will have a hard time winning anything since many teams rely mainly on them.

True talk but I think Victor Osimhen is one player that has proven himself countless times because the same way he has been scoring goals for his clubs has been the way he has scored for his country Nigeria. Other African players had been doing great also but they can't perform the way they do for their foreign clubs because they do not train with the players they mix with at home to play just like they train together with their other team members in their respective clubs.

Victor Boniface this season has been struggling due to the fact that injuries has been one thing that was a problem to him in this season which affected his overall performance level which made Victor Boniface to lose out favour with his manager so I don't think that boniface is off the footballing scheme next season i believe that boniface is one of the best footballers that is in Europe and he is a very good player

He had a good time last season together with the entire club. Some players don't like moving from one club to another that's why they stay in a club for a longer time. Maybe he has not also gotten a better offer from a club he likes. Next season might be better since Bayer Leverkusen will be having a new coach (Xabi Alonso will be moving to Real Madrid). A new coach could help to revitalize his career. He could also move to another club if there is an offer.

These players are part of a very good squad in their club teams. Their national teams also have good squads, but I don't think they are as good as their club teams. That's why I think their performances in their national teams drop a little bit...

Sometimes, the same criticism is made about Hakan Çalhanoğlu in my country. When Hakan plays for Inter, he plays with top footballers around him, but unfortunately he is not as lucky when he plays for the Turkish national team... :)

Mo Salah is definitely going to win the Premier League Player of the Season award, I think he might have won more than if Liverpool had made it to the finals of the Champions League. Salah would have been a strong contender for the Ballon d’Or. Much love to Victor Osimhen. He has done a great deal to put Nigeria on the map and I love him for that. I’m happy to see that Ademola Lookman is also on the list. As for Victor Boniface, his performance in the national team is nothing to write home about but he is an amazing striker in his domestic club.

Yes Mohammed salah definitely could have won another award in if they had been successful because I believe there are other awards other than the ones we are use to in champions League but however it might not be as prestigious as the other ones, if Victor Osimhen was on the premier League and have this goals he could have won the award straight a way because he and Salah has two goals different. Don't you know that there are obstacles that are not truly obstacles in deed, but they just appears as one in disguise, all because they wanted to put us in a test, such is what i could use in the situation involved with Victor osimhen.

If you have something you're holding unto and think that is the best, then you have to realize that circumstance may happen to change it from you by taking it away first before presenting to you another one which is far better, now i can see a number of clubs that would be eyeing Victor osimhen to play for them, if they can afford his pay.

I don’t think that’s the same case with the Nigerian national team. The Nigerian national team has a lot of high quality footballers, the players are good individually but they don’t know how to play as a team. The Super Eagles have changed managers recently because of this problem, they understand that the problem lies in the management of the team.

Disappointing season for Victor Boniface, I expected something similar to his numbers and stats last season but this season he has been really short in numbers scoring just 8 goals in 19 games. This season we witnessed Boniface struggle which was unexpected but it is what it is hopefully next season will be better.

For a long time African players have been impressive for their various clubs, putting them out and making history. This season happens to be that more African players are taking on same historical significance in their respective clubs. I expected Victor Boniface to be part of this list but it seems he is slowly dropping down the pecking order lately, I pray he gets his game together.

So many strong teams won't want to fix a friendly match with the Nigerian team because they see the Nigerian team as a team that is not strong enough for them to play against, and they believe the Nigerian team can't be a strong test for them if they play a friendly match with the Nigerian team. Nigeria team is a big African team in name and not in playing good football, and that's the reason why the Nigerian team is finding it difficult to play a friendly match with strong teams in the world.

In Africa, you can't talk about football without mentioning the Super Eagles. The Super Eagles have always had a good record in football, but the challenge the team is facing now is poor management, and for a long time, this has been affecting the performance of the Super Eagles. The Super Eagles already have good players who are playing in some of the big clubs in the European leagues. The Super Eagles may be facing challenges that are depriving them of reaching the level they are supposed to be at. But I don't rate Super eagles to be the worst team.

Osimehn has been an incredible name and seeing him doing this well at galatasaray after the whole Napoli issue, it must have been a fulfilling thing for him.

With moh Salah equally doing well at Liverpool and currently winning the league, another conversation that will spring up with time will be if both will be the likely option for the African men's player of the year award. It's looking like a moh Salah's award but then, Nigeria getting it for the third consecutive time is something to dare dream of. I like your statement "If" they beat Milan, then Hakimi would be very much qualified to be the next African footballer of the year, cause of his good contribution to his team Paris Saint-Germain in both the Champions League and French Ligue 1 moreover he's already won the Ligue 1 so winning the Champions league would make him the best candidate for the award.

 Failure for his team to win the Champions league, then Mo Salah would be the favourites candidate followed by Hakimi or Osimhen, I believe they might even consider him as runner up before Osimhen due to how relevant his league is compared to the Turkish league, Osimhen has been spectacular this year if only he was playing a bigger team in one of the top leagues.

The friendlies will come definitely it’s just a matter of time. By the time most of the league would have been over for the season there will be time and the friendlies will happen. The issue of corruption in our system has been a long existing pandemic that will take time to eradicate. Unless this change happens we will continue to suffer with it.
