Having a prolific striker is one piece of the pie. You already need a good midfield that can create of lot of chances where he can score. Only a few strikers have managed to maneuver their way even though they don't have elite midfielders to feed  them. So unless Chelsea is planning to bring more reinforcements, I don't think it's worth it.

I come to understand that most times this decision are not made by the manager in charge of the club, just like in the days of Roma Ibrahimovic that's always want to sign all the quality players in the world especially if you are such a player that has threatened Chelsea defense earlier, he will do everything possible to get you to the club unless you aren't willing to come, another thing is that, you can't compare a club owner who loves football ordinarily with a club owner who's just business inclined, I think the difference is clear, Roman Ibrahimovic was a man that always want to be part the game all the time, sometimes he get the players he wants by himself just like I said earlier.

No, it's not just about the money, I think the situation between Chelsea and Victor osimhen is more about respect than just money. Last summer transfer window, victor osimhen would have signed for Chelsea on loan due to the fact that Napoli wasn't ready to lower their asking price, but due to the fact that victor osimhen really want the move to happen, he was ready to lower his weekly wages of £250k at Napoli to £180k which both Parties agreed on, it was on the last day of the summer transfer window that Chelsea hierarchy saw that he was desperate for the move and start telling his agent that they can no longer pay what was initially agreed, and they were now ready to pay him £120k which I sees as an insult, especially when they had already agreed personal terms earlier, so that's why the move broke down, so it's not about the money, trust was broken, that's why he easily agreed to go to Galatasaray with a lower pay wages.

It is not only Victor Boniface that flops for the national team; almost all the big players in the national team who are playing very well abroad always play below people's expectations. Nigeria has a good number of players that should have helped our national team dominate African football for years and win the African Cup of Nations. I can't even remember the last time Nigeria's national team lifted the African Cup of Nations.

If I were any of these Nigerian international players, I will do the same thing without remorse. These guys have been in the system and they know whatsup. They have played in Nigeria and played outside of Nigeria. They have interacted with players from all over the world and they know how those other players are treated by their country. Our case is different. It's better I am uninjured and play for my club than to sustain injury while playing for the National team where I know that I will likely not get the best treatment.

If the Nigeria national team players think that the treatment they are getting from the Nigeria Football Federation is not fair compared to the treatment European countries give to their players, then they should stop playing for the Nigeria national team and focus on club football since they aren't fully committed to defending the Nigerian badge.

I disagree with you that Victor Osimhen is eyeing a big money move instead of building a legacy because if Victor Osimhen were eyeing a big money move, he would have accepted the offer of Al Hilal when Al Hilal wanted to sign him. I agree with you. Let's take it to the workplace setting. If for example, an organization takes care of the welfare of their staff to the level of comfort that their is right and their salaries are also increased in the right proportion that they never have to worry about anything again, the performance of the staff and their organization will see a new leap beyond expectation because everyone will want to give in their best. The same common sense knowledge is carried into the Nigerian football or sport space. The NFF knows what to do but just don't want to do it.

You’ve said it just right, sometimes you would find it that, it falls to the NFL to set the standard to wish, these players would want to perform so as to attain. No Chelsea player can be compared to Victor Osimhen as it stands now. It's not like everything revolves around na, he didn't set the price he's going to be signed for, because of the whole FIFA ranking stuff and the whole hype that surrounded him at the time he was going off Napoli, that's what triggers the high price he's been placed at and as it stands, it's going to be hard for him to by himself reduce what he's being valued at that suit the demand of Chelsea even. It was an International friendly match Nigeria played against Ghana and they won 2:1, well it was seen as something that would happen because Ghana are not usually the country that takes friendly matches that serious since it doesn't matter to them, but in Nigeria that's a total different thing. You can’t be saying this if Osimhen was white, European teams has paid more for players less efficient and effective than Osimhen. Man has proven himself time and time again, what more do you want him to prove eh?
What he’s demanding is what he deserves and even more if you ask me, if Chelsea can buy players like Mudryk for £70m and even Enzo Fernandez for £107m, why can’t they buy Osimhen for £75m and even the salary cut is also not much for a player like Osimhen. I don't know what could make Chelsea not to be a able to afford paying the cost of getting Victor Osimhen, but I think this is what they have in thought, that had look into their current form and see no tangible reason why they should secure him since they already have enough players on ground, the likes of James, Caicedo, Sancho, Enzo Fernadez, Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto among others were part of their strong hands which they believe they could deliver just as they did yesterday with Real Betis.

Chelsea shouldn't even complain about victor osimhen's wages, they are capable of paying him, just like you said, there are lots of players that are not up to his standard collecting high wage. They missed out last season, they shouldn't do that this season, the so called Delap they are going for, can he be compared to Victor osimhen, just want to get another average player and continue struggling as a league contender, since they are going to the the champions league, they need good frontliner and osimhen perfectly fits in.

When it comes to issues of transfers, salary demands, and finding a good club to join, a player must be extremely careful no matter how good he is. We sometimes use the phrase "Wrong move", for some players. They never planned on making such moves, but it just happened. Oshimen at this point is already a proven striker. Is £300K per week too much for him?, no I don't think so. If a player like Havertz can earn £280K, then why should Oshimen earn anything lesser than £250K.

And concerning the issue of making a move, that I can't really tell. He has made a name both at Napoli and Galatasaray, and has performed well.  Continuing in one of the clubs won't be a bad idea since the most important thing is to add more positive records to his profile. I'm not sure of what his current relationship with Napoli is at the moment, but I feel Napoli needs a better striker unlike the one they have now. Why does Osimhen need to settle for a wage he is far better than, in terms of performance and contributions to any club he plays, Osimhen deserves a unique pay, or do we have to compare him with Chelsea players who are less contributing to the team, i will rate Osimhen over Jackson who was signed for €32M and whatever the price Osimhen ask for the both agents should agree.

Recent developments have shown alot of body work towards Al Halil for victor Osimhen and not Chelsea, although the young performing Nigeria striker could have been a grateful asset for Chelsea Considering their present condition and how urgent Chelsea need a striker like Victor Osimhen in their club.

The Chelsea I saw that played yesterday doesn't have too much need for a midfielder. Enzo Fernandez, Cole Palmer, Moisés Caicedo and have not been doing badly. Maybe one or two additions might be needed since they will be competing in the UEFA Champions League. But the club's major challenge now is a conventional striker. A club that is depending on Nicholas Jackson for goals should be ready to end the season without any trophy. That’s true, his aim for for big pay will actually delay his achievement and success in Europe as a striker because he is an African player, they will not value him much than other strikers if his caliber, and for the fact that he plays for Galatasaray he will get low money payment bids unless if he will go to Saudi Arabia where they will pay him huge sum of money.

However, Napoli also have big role to play in his career, the money they are demanding for Osimhen is much, no team will come with such bid and take him from them even though he worth it; therefore, for them to have a smooth deal, they need to reduce their demand and sell him with average money.
