It’s not a rumor. Bafana Bafana actually fielded a player that wasn’t eligible to be in that match. It’s not news because we have been talking about it in the thread since last weekend so if you look at the previous posts you will find more information on the topic.

I guess the desperation to qualify is real, but come to think of it, South Africa is already leading, so why would they take such a move? If the player is that good, why not give him the necessary support to become eligible and feature him in the game?

Another thing is, if they start like this and are not penalized, it means they might throw in bigger moves going forward in the season that will give them an advantage. FIFA should penalize them so that other country will take correction. Because if they are not penalized, countries will start pulling in their illegal moves to qualify, and it will paint African name badly out there. If it hasn't already been painted. This is an unfortunate situation that south Africa has played themselves into because there was no need for the said player to play for the south team because they where already leading confidently  on the group , this should sound as a lesson to other countries because the fact is that there are rules and regulations that are applicable in what ever association , but this is another opportunity for others countries in the group to qualify for the world cup because the point gap between south and the other teams

Have you ever sit down and look at the way super eagles play and you tell yourself if they ar going to qualify for the World cup. This guys struggle alot to make complete pass, they struggle like they don't train and when they score a goal, the also struggle to keep us in the lead. Is this what are they going to be playing after this qualifiers stage? Definitely not, they get fried and thrown out, the best we can go and do better is group stage, atleast appear and then get remove later.

To say we have one of the best men representing us in different leagues and we have tow best Afcon payers but whenever it comes to their national representation, they played like they are been begged to come represent us here when no one really did, it was there choice to come honor the home but they play like it's just their way of showing us they are there because they care, it's no longer interesting to watch any of our matches anymore.

The Super Eagles have not been consistent with their performances lately and that has been a problem for the team. Take a look back at the game against Zimbabwe which was already won but they let the win and three points slip away from our grasp. With such inconsistency I doubt Nigeria will be able to qualify for the world cup unless we improve in the next games.

FIFA already awarded the 3 points to Lesotho with also the 3 goals scored by South Africa. So, it is 3 goals and 3 points straight to Lesotho. Anyway, the Bafana Bafana still remains unbeaten in the World Cup Qualifiers. They still maintain their positions as first in the table.

Also, Lesotho has withdrawn the complaint filed to FIFA immediately the announcement was made.

In the recent times the Nigerian team has been like this and we can not shy away from supporting the team despite the pains and the heart breaks we go through as a result of their failures to make us proud I think we should keep supporting the boys and then hope that they improve their performance in their next games. If you look at their last performance where the game ended in a 1:1 draw, you would blame the players because they created more chances of scoring goals but they wasted all their chances if not the one goal that was scored by Victor Osimhen that kept them ahead before the opponents came back and scored the equalizer in the last minute of the game. The team can only only hope to qualify if the other teams that is ahead of them losses in their next matches but who is sure if the Super Eagles will even get victory in their remaining matches that's the big question that needs to be in our minds.

It's true that it's not yet over until the end so there is still hope for our super eagles to qualify for the world cup, as we're under pressure that is how the other teams are also under pressure to qualify. The difference is that the super eagles are a star sturded team compared to the other teams in the group so expectations is very high for them to quality. It's true that our national teams always puts our mathematical skills to test anything that they're in the qualifying stages, we're always calculating the points that they need to qualify. I hope that they will put a better performance in their next game to assure us that they have what it takes to qualify.

We have to wait for FIFA's decision. South Africa is at the top of the table, and it is a fact. It is also a fact that FIFA is not very trustworthy. There have been cases of corruption, so I will not be surprised to hear that FIFA has closed the complaint and that South Africa still has the points.

Its really not impressive enough that we will have to suffer several cases of such within the African football space, its not been too long the issues between Nigeria and another African country was settled for a different form of misconduct and here is south Africa at it again, honestly i think they should be allowed to face the penalty thereof because south Africa should be very much aware of the possible applicable consequences for such before they allow for such player to participate in the game and know its a world cup qualifiers game that will get as much attention as possible they should know that they are obliged to heed to the rules guiding it regardless of what they feel its okay for them to do, if they had taught that the player was such an important layer for them, then they should have done the needful  to get him included on the team so they don't have to suffer such which they suffer now.

They already know that SA will still top the league and Nigeria's hope of making it to the World Cup is not feasible again. I think we should move on and support another closer country. It’s not necessarily a win for Nigeria but you know how Nigerians are. We want to hold on to to any hope of qualifying for the World Cup no matter how small or irrational that hope is. If Nigeria don’t qualify for the World Cup, I doubt Nigerians will support another African country to win the tournament instead they will support countries where their favorite players are from.

Over time I have notice that I don't follow them to watch their match, that's what majority of people does but when they notice that super eagle has cross some line in any league, they pick interest immediately because we feel like if they can reach this level of performance, they might be able to not give up here but you will get the shock of your life that they have been struggling to reach where they are actually, if the don't lose that match, they will be out on the next one.

To support super eagle is a big stress, the coach Wil be at fault for not proper placing each team on their place, the players will be doing their own. I used to watch Ghanaian players whenever they have some matches and I'm amazed how super connected they are with their own players despite the fact that majority of their players are international players, not home based but when it comes to Nigeria, you will wish home based players get the chance than any of them.
