I think 1000 BTC will be enough for someone to retire after 20 years particularly if btc price moves up significantly.

Wow that is a lot of btc there. You can even do a business of loaning some of the services here to start their profiting. Perhaps if I have that large amount I would really panic if the price of bitcoin gets low.
yeah same to me. i think who people have that much amount now. they will always spot heart lol because now price is fall
but don't be panic if you choose this for long term investment

This price of bitcoin would be the great time to buyback actually it is a little late because it grew like 10 dollars or more now. But you can still profit some if you buy now.

1000BTC of course it's very enough. but it's hard to get as much of it. even if the price of BTC moved significantly I think 100-200 bitcoin enough to retire.

Haha. No! 1000BTCs sounds good to me! Get as much as you want, get as much as you need. Haha. But i dont think 200 is enough to retire. Not unless the 1200dollars exchange is here already. And if so, everyone's on their own launchpad rocket goodbye away.

Your suggestion is good. Its very easy to earn two bitcoins per year. You need to have much focus towards signature campaigns as well as trading.
At times you may earn a half of a bitcoin price when there is sudden hike in price. Try to earn atleast 40 which will help for your future.

Idiots.

What if bitcoin becomes $100,000 each at some point? Will it still be easy to earn 2 bitcoins a year?

You idiots are treating bitcoin like a bluechip stock or something. It isn't. It's a highly risky thing that will either go up 100x+ or go down to a very low value.

If the bitcoin price reaches $1million in 20 years, you just need two bitcoin. It depends on the adoption of the bitcoin in general.

$1 million is very high in 20 years, but who knows..lets just hope that bitcoin would live that long, and yes, adoption would make bitcoins last long,,
you will be having a very good life if you have that amount of money..  Smiley

That would be dream come true for all of us if the bitcoin reaches to $1 million, and who knows it might reach to that value, we cannot predict the exact  price of bitcoin in next 20 years, but yes even if it reached $10k then that would be a descent value.

We only need the bitcoin price to rise 47% a year for it to reach $1,000,000 in 20 years time.

I think its impossible in 20 years maybe price will be around $2000-$7000
that's obvious you need a lot of bitcoin before retirement

another idiot.

If bitcoin doesn't go up significantly, people will give up and sell their bitcoins, crashing the price.

Yes and we cannot be sure that would be the exact amount of bitcoins we should hold at the time of retirement, as it totally depends on the value of bitcoins after 20 years and at a moment it is difficult to predict the future value of bitcoin.

Yes a value of $2000-$7000 would be nothing more than a big disappointment.
It's either a very high value or it will be worth nothing and something else replaced Bitcoin.
In 20 years we will know what happened. Smiley

No. It can't go up significantly.

If it goes up significantly, the demand will be met by an alt-coin.

Well how much fiat do you need to retire? Just make a calculation. It's the same thing. And I don't think you should solely rely on bitcoin alone.

Totally depends on the value of bitcoins in future and also depends on which country you are living in, and also  what is your lifestyle, what are your basic expenses, even 1 btc would be enough or else even 100 btc would not be able to make it.

No. It can't go up significantly.

Alt coins and bitcoins are not the same thing, just as apples and french fries are not the same thing, even though they're both food.

If crypto explodes, sure, some value will go to the other coins. Like they say, a rising tide lifts all boats. But there will certainly be 1 coin that is completely dominant, taking up the majority of the value of the crypto economy.

You see it everywhere in life and in nature. For example, google takes up the majority of search, even though there's bing, etc.
