I didn't receive mine; I was on the original list but not on the final... probably due to my low post count here at BTT (I spend almost all of my time exclusively at the nxtforum).

Was under the impression we had until August 10 to increase our post count. Oh well. :/

I was using nxt online wallet to register the stake. And now how to claim the stake? Thanks
Download the NXT client and create a account let it download blockchain then make an in and out going transaction. Then PM Mac Red your NXT id.

best would be maybe to keep the coins and give them later to the stakeholders.
Currently they are holding it, because they maybe get more.
I think if you give now all coins to the stakeholders, there would be probably more dumping and you end up on 100 or less stakeholders on release.
So from economical perspective best would be.

- wait
- Release
- wait
- give additional coins

Thank you guys, I received my stake and I'm holding  Smiley
I was hoping we would be able to maintain the value above 50 sat. Still our current value of around 44 sat is not that bad.
However I predict that there will be another wave of dumping in about 6-7hrs from now.
Brace yourselves people and do not panic sell when that happens.
We're doing great guys!  Cool

PS. Your hard work is much appreciated DarkhorseofNxt  Wink

Bytemaster says he can help you clone btsx, whether to consider cloning btsx it?

I think it would be more valuable.
Quote
My personal opinion would be guided heavily by the attitude of our lead dev, nioccoin, but I must admit this option does sound like a very interesting avenue to explore!!

DEV,You should consider clone BTS not QORA
1.BTS use C++,it's better than java
2.We don't know when and how will QORA release the resources
3.We have a strong community and BTS have a long term development map.this is win-win
4.In my opnion,BTS is better than QORA

If you can successfully developed the first bts cloning, that the value of the ora greatly improve.
And bytemaster have colleagues to help you develop, I think it should not be a problem.

Actually $60 is a lot for what it is.  It's not NEM, where you get 1 million of NEM for $1000 (0.00025% of total supply)

This coin is $60 for 166,666 out of 10 billion supply, (0.0000166666% of total supply).    To get 0.000255% of Ora you'ld have to spend like around $950.  It's almost as expensive as NEM.

This is a market capitalization of $3.6 million if ORA were launched.

Sure people - keep claiming that Ora is worthless..  it's already worth more than Qora!

I guess you lost a few zeros. There are no 10 billion any more... are there?

I loaded up my wallet and added the asset ID to check out the activity... they're selling at ridiculously low prices, about 1000 NXT per stake. The price will easily be 20x that amount when we have a client. People need to keep a strong hand! (but cheap Ora is the buy of a lifetime, honestly).

You can do two other things instead:

-Top up (as you call it) all original stakeholders who keep at least 166,666 Oras.

-Give the free shares to all current holders of Ora. I do not think those who did not own originally, but paid for their shares are less valuable, then the original owners. You can make additional modification to this to better serve your needs. (1.5 new stakes for original accounts with more than 166,666 coins and 1 new stake for new accounts with same amount or more)

The interesting here is, that people will give the dumpers now already more money, if the additional coins later depend only on the coins.
But if only holding stakeholders get additional coins current dumpers get less money for it ;-)
And mostly people who have already coins are buying in this state anyway... they should get it cheaper, if someone wants to dump...
I would top up only keeping stakeholders as KTK did that quite successfully.

I suggested using the leftover stakes for extra POS rewards like FIMK does. That would make the stakeholders work for the project and support the network and get coins in return, rather than only give another round of free coins.

Here is my input on the "top up" issue.

This is no 1 mans coin. It is everyone's coin. So if you believe that the next distribution should be done in another way, now is the time to argue as in discussion and lobbying.

Btw, just a headsup, next distribution will be only done only after once the automated distribution script is working condition.

My concern is, should the next distributed stakes be same size as in first distribution it would trigger big amount of sockpuppet attemps from current stakeholders. So I'd rather make it more like an email-giveaway size smaller chunks for new users.

again, stated here in development thread:

If we do end up giving the original stakeholders a top up from the left over stakes I think our only option is to use the original stakeholder list. If somebody chose to sell their stake early it doesn't change the fact that they were an original stakeholder. If a non-stakeholder buys a lot of ORA assets before the vote it doesn't change the fact that they weren't an original stakeholder.

My understanding of the NXT voting system is ALL ORA asset holders would be eligible to vote, even people who weren't original stakeholders but bought ORA on the NXT AE from early sellers.

It would be nice to be able to vote asap, but we don't have any control over when the NXT voting system goes live.

+1 especially #4.   Keep in mind that the silent wizard is only doing this on his free time with no additional developers.
