when attempting to stake i get this error:

"Error: RPC server was not started, use server=1 to change this (code -18)"

what do i have to do to start staking?
Sorry for noob-question.
Brief help would be appreaciated. Thanks  Smiley

Since October 2013 apparently, it has been necessary to have 'server=0' in your bitcoin.conf in order for the walletpassphrase command to run. This change brought it into CLAM.

The fix it to put "server=1" in your clam.conf file. It's in the same folder as your CLAM wallet.dat. If you don't have one, you can make one with just that line in it.

Looks like someone is using a bot to trade coins  Shocked
The good news is we have a new high for the CLAM at 2.51

I guess they're not using the poloniex price over at coinmarketcap. Almost all the on-exchange CLAM/BTC trading happens at poloniex. I just checked cryptsy and the price there has been between 0.007 and 0.009 BTC/CLAM for the last week. So I don't know where coinmarketcap are getting their price.

I reported this as a bug over in the coinmarketcap thread.

I think the issue is Yacuna trading at a higher price (showing $3.82 on coinmarketcap)--- they must be taking an average of all exchanges.

I don't think it can be the average, since the price seems to be jumping between two different values. An average would move more gradually.

I guess they're either using "last price on any exchange" or just "last price on Yacuna" (since the Yacuna spread is 0.008 - 0.016 at the moment!)

I had imported my LTC wallet to find one distribution, and today I emptied out my bitcoin wallet and imported it and thank you! I didn't have any doge at the time, I wonder how well doge holders did.

The games over at FortuneJack look to be artistically very well designed.

Out of curiosity, are you offering stake returns to your users who hold a balance with you?

Did you have LTC or DOGE either?

You can get a few CLAMs via JD chat maybe, but that shit sucks grinding that hard for nothing.

Better to buy them or what not.

Also if you have shit for sell you can always try to sell shit in JD or in different posts.  Always good for a little economy for people to be buying and selling things. I buy random shit all the time!

It appears CLAM has since been banned at bitbet.us?

Hey
I really liked just-dice when it was BTC.
Then it was closed.
Now it reopens with these CLAMS.
I should import all my BTC Wallet into a program, which I do not know... had to install on my computer...

I mean... I would never do that.. .I hardly believe in the security of the BTC Blockchain.. But then put another algorithm on top of it.

And WHY.. WHY would you add this layer of complexity?

Please bring back BTC investing.

I hardly believe in the security of the BTC Blockchain..

Then why do you hold bitcoin?

And WHY.. WHY would you add this layer of complexity?

How is it complex? The clam wallet is just like any other altcoin wallet (prettier, though).

In fact, you don't even need to own the wallet software to get your clams. Read JD FAQ for more info.

Please bring back BTC investing.

JD closed because it was illegal for Doog to run a BTC gambling site, I think. CLAM is not directly convertable to fiat yet, so I think that's why it's allowed. Again, not sure.

Doog can give more, informative insight into this.
