/\i'm calling bullshit!:::: if they are truely an advocate for free speech(clamspeak) they would have an irc channel that you could use on TOR. i.e. altcoinweb   :\    ~don't you think?

*edit* ====> well fvck it here is the new "freedom of speech" irc for clams >>

https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.altcoinweb.com:+6697/#clams

I'm calling BS too!  free speech is only possible with tor now is it?    freespeech != anonymity.. although I certainly appreciate the desire to remain anonymous.  your more then welcome to set up said irc channel that you can use tor with yourself.
/\to say you guys are for free speech is completly false.

A good start would be to have an irc that can be accessed via TOR!!!

:\

who you think you are fooling..only yourself

I'm not going to respond to you any more as its a total waste of my time but I was reading and couldn't help myself.

You obviously don't understand what free speech even means and I'm not going to explain it to you.. but for clarity AGAIN ..    freespeech != anonymity      and as you might not know what !=   mean, it means "Does Not Equal"

Your practising free speech this very moment with your trolling.
You can continue to do so and prove how silly your arguments actually are, but I'll practice my free speech as well by not responding.

Have a good day sir.

EDIT:  Even better, freenode allows tor. I don't use Tor so I wasn't aware but when I brought it up in the channel it was explained to me.   In fact.. theres currently users in the #clams channel on freenode that are using tor.

So I guess that means your entire argument is moot.

you call yourself a developer yet you don't even know that freenode blocks TOR?

fekkin noob!!!! ====> i got you guys listed on cryptsy now you never pay me my 200 clams.

thats what this is all about ,  you really that greedy?

Can we just say fuck his freedom of speech and start removing him from the thread yet.  This trashes up the thread for future ppl to come.

Feel free to remove this one as well.

Thread should be freedom of speech, but not freedom of trash which is all Owsly is (the poster I've quoted.)

Man, I keep getting sucked in but your reading comprehension is obviously 0 so I feel I have to keep explaining things to you like I would a child and hope you might eventually get it.
https://freenode.net/policy.shtml#tor    and  https://freenode.net/irc_servers.shtml#tor  ..   No, they don't block tor but awesome job at using google!

None of the devs/creators of clams offered you anything.

We have barely anything to offer (no premine) and what we do have in our own personal stashes we certainly wouldn't give to maybe be put on an exchange. We wouldn't even give it to definitely be put on an exchange.  We've used our own personal funds for ports of bitcore/insight tipbots for irc/reddit, useful things that will better the ecosystem.

Your idea of what a developer is is every bit as silly as what your idea of freespeech is.

Were not magical all knowing beings.. but we can certainly find the information when its relevant and needed.

Thanks for you post friend.

This has nothing to do with greed.

It has to do with:

  • Your inability to speak truthfully,
  • Having your attempts at begging refused, and
  • Having your attempts at extortion refused.

If you:

  • Learn to speak truthfully,
  • Stop begging, and
  • Offer something of value;

Then, perhaps, those with self-respect might toss you some CLAMS.

Until that time, you have absolutely nothing to offer this community.

P.S.  If you are really nice, and apologize for being a bad troll, I might even let you back into the IRC channel Grin

Is there anyway to get Clams removed from Cryptsy? You really don't want your coin listed there if it can be staked....They stake your coins and then you can't get them back...Dumbarse move...if you think I full of shit

just wait....I will not not trade there....they are bums of the first order Angry

Is poloniex down only for me Huh?

Nope, same for everyone. They are having issues at the datacentre which hosts the site according to thier twitter page

Cryptsy has CLAM/BTC now and hopefully CLAM/LTC soon.

https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/CLAM_BTC

Polo is shit. I'd trust Cryptsy with way more personally.

How can  a hero member be so dumb? Cryptsy are total fuckwits they stake your coins and are very hard to get them back from

If most exchanges keep coins in a separate address for each user, then they will control the vast majority of clams. Most users probably keep all their coins in one address if they run a wallet on their computer. Cry

Good practice says you should use a different address for each incoming payment -- even from the same person. A lot of people (including myself) don't follow through with that 100% of the time. But those that do will benefit the most from the initial distribution. I think that's an awesome thing, since it helps promote security.

Poloniex doesn't stake coins either. So either way you aren't earning coinage while keeping coins on a exchange.  Use Just-dice as a online wallet or stake your own coins.

Cryptsy has done good business for me and I plan on keeping my business there until it changes!

I never keep coins on a exchange for any length of time. Always in and out... I recommend the same practices for yourself!

Make a exchange that pays users their staked coins and maybe everyone switches to you!

Some companies must have the private keys to thousands or tens of thousands of addresses that were distributed CLAM.

I thought poloniex did.

Negative.  They claim they stake no coins, but had to go offline when Just-dice first fired up for some reason.

I honestly like that exchanges can stake users coins and earn a little extra profit to hopefully expand their exchanges.

I see it as a good thing and their coins.

Giving back to your customers is always good as well! Will be interesting to see how the future works out.

They are making money with fees and some have partial reserves only. On just-dice you can get your stacked coins and profit from the gambling.
