As of now no online wallet and you can use CCminer to mine with your GTX 1070 graphic card.

For how long has the AEON wallet on Bittrex been offline? Trades are working, but withdrawals and deposits are not. Can someone from the Dev team please get in contact with Bittrex and fix the problem. I guess it's not such a big problem since withdrawals and deposits are working on HitBTC exchange.

The Bittrex wallet is off by the developer's request. Until the code is reworked to the developer's satisfaction I think the wallet will likely remained closed.

I know marketing and encouraging its use is not a good thing to do for now because the cryptocoin is really not easy to use right now. But how can we help?

Just read on their official Twitter account @AeonCoin, they replied to question "Why is Aeon wallet on Bittrex offline?" and their reply was "Pending a software update to address instability issues. Please be patient." (tweet from Aug 15)
Still no information when is it expected to be fixed.

About AEON wallet maintenance on Bittrex exchange... I found this:
"There were some large reorgs/forks in June 2017, like on the order of 50 or 100 blocks, the cause of which was not clear. Prior to that there was a bug that required a chain rollback, which resulted in delisting from cryptopia exchange. After these incidents the maintainer of aeon GitHub repo, smooth, requested bittrex to take the wallet offline until aeon could be updated to a more recent monero codebase. That process still hasn't been completed, so the wallet is still offline."

Seems bittrex wallet will be frozen till winter, Smooth will not release new version before this time.

I haven't followed in quite sometime, now I see again wallet is still inactive yet the price is moving. So how is it that other markets can trade whilst coins get cobwebs on Bittrex? Yikes.

Forks? Where's ma split ? I take it the forks were un intentional, but wait forks are part of the equation...

@Shifty1down5up. I reckon smooth has mentioned that the reorgs did not have any signs of a double spend. For the cause on why the reorg happened, the last statement that I have read from smooth is that he is studying it. There are no updates from him about it.

It would be good to know what really happened. Maybe Aeon was 51% attacked?

Same marketing plan as XMR. XMR marketing plan = no marketing plan. From 50 cents to 100 USD in just 2 years. Works for me.
