Here is modified version of my monero-stratum for Aeon: https://github.com/sammy007/monero-stratum/tree/aeon

This is personal solo mining stratum for your farm, you only need it if your daily pool payouts are equal to amount of several blocks rewards or you are mining for fun (don't care about big variance hits).

The installation instructions are pretty straight forward if you will follow README.

PS: I didn't perform full test on testnet and obviously I have no hashrate to test it on mainnet, so please if you are tech savvy do it and let me know if blocks are accepted correctly. I am 99.99% sure it's ok, because it's a port of already well-tested monero-stratum.

Just installed this - miners connect OK and shares get sent OK - just two problems:

1. I can't get into the web interface even though it prompts me for a username/password
2. I get an error about being unable to get a new block template.


Anyone have any ideas?

I think they probably just have the large amount of confirmations since it's in the testing phase with the new wallet update etc... that's my theory at least.

It was smooth who adviced Bittrex to require more confirmations to make sure that all your transactions will be safe. He still does not know what caused the network instability in the last version and I reckon it might happen again in this version. It is better to be safe than lose your Aeons.

1. You need to have the "www" folder in the current path in order to render the web interface.
2. I'm not sure about that, maybe sammy007 can answer? What is the error message exactly?

Bittrex, the only exchange that supports AEON, finally opened the wallet so people could add their coins. There are people who have been mining for months. The news of the unfreeze sent prices up, the people who have been holding for months sold it down.

It shouldn't be terribly surprising.

It looks to be tailing off and stabilizing, which is good. More dev updates should only improve the possibilities of this coin.. I'm exciting to be holding.

Bollinger Bands are too far apart=>too much volatility for entering AEON market.

I am waiting for 2 days already, no response from their shit support. It's a fraud exchange, never use it again. Still hope those scammers are not decided to exit scam this month.

Sometimes I need to use this shit and literally every withdrawal required a support ticket.
My BTC withdrawal was processed almost instantly tho.

Hi guys. I'm struggling transferring Aeon to Bittrex. Tried first with 0.9.12 wallet. TX never showed on blockchain. Followed stoffu's steps to reset tx pool state and patched to 0.9.13. After rescanning blockchain the aeon were back on balance. So tried again to transfer and again nothing on blockchain. I have 8 active and normal connections to peers. What could be the issue?

Are you sending with mixin level 0?

Don't do that. They take much longer to confirm (or not at all) unless you are able to increase fee which requires changing the code.

Mixin level 2 should work much better.

Don't do that. They take much longer to confirm (or not at all) unless you are able to increase fee which requires changing the code.

Mixin level 2 should work much better.

Was using mixin 1 as per the advice on the Bittrex deposit page. Will retry again with mixin 2. Thanks smooth.
