I have a LEPA 1200W PSU, do you guys think three A3 batch 4 will work on one of these units? Is anyone running 3 off a 1000W or 1200W? Would like to hear about it if you are....
You want to run your PSU at below 90% load or 1080 watt. 3 S3s will require 1098 at a minimum. So, 3 S3s can be run with a 1200 W PSU but not recommended. Why is a 1200w not recommended on 3 if it is running at 90% load?

My order has gone to: Unpaid Unshipped Expired
Even though I paid at order completion.
What is going on?
My order is in the same state...weird.

Why is a 1200w not recommended on 3 if it is running at 90% load?
It depends on how efficiently you want to run your PSU. PSUs are most efficient at lower than rated load. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/80_PLUS

Mine has also expired even with 8 confirmations.
BitMaintech.com what is going on? Are you going to refund all the payments your system is failing to acknowledge now that the orders have been automatically canceled?
Yeah, I had 9 confirmations at the time it "Expired" You guys all need to chill out - everything always gets sorted out. These guys are getting hundreds of orders coming in and have to confirm/verify everything. Let them do their job. I'm sure they will make it right, but if I miss batch 4 I'd be pissed. Further edit. It is now: Paid Unshipped Expired Even further edit: I now have payment confirmation Email, with it still showing expired. In the same boat. Hoping for the same outcome

Hi,
Is anyone able to help me out? I purchased 2 of the S3's and bought the Enermax Triatholor ECO 550W 80 Plus Bronze PSU (one for each S3). It says the DC output is +12V 42A 504W. I hooked one PCI-e connector to one side of the machine and hooked up another PCI-e to the opposite side using only two of the four connections. The machine never reaches over 330 - 340 GH/s. Do I need to overclock this machine to reach the 478 GH/s, or do I need to buy a bigger PSU, or both? If I need a bigger PSU which is recommended?

This happens every time BM launches a new product, and always has. It will sort out for everyone who paid, as it does every time. If it's not automatically fixed in 24 hours, shoot BM an email with your order number and the TXID of your payment and they will manually fix it, although I've only seen someone need to do this once in thousands of orders.

do i need a psu? what do i use to control it?
You need: a PSU of at least 600w bronze per s3. (i'm using a 100w gold PSU for my 2) and a web browser to go to the ip of the miners for configuration purposes (default 192.168.1.99) My 500W Corsairs are working just fine. I don't intend to oc, so it's OK that the 500W only has 2 pci-e.

Something is off with chain 2. I've never seen that with the -o and it should be 16 not 32. What happens if you swap the PCI-e connector? If they chains swap info I'd say you have a PSU problem. If they stay the same I would think it's the miner.

Nobody has heard about this problem?
My S3 rings non-stop from the second I turn it on, to the second I turn it off.
I have read through the forum, I do not see this anywhere.
The other S3 states the temp of the one blade is 2C. While the other is 44c.
I have had many machines before, s1's and s2, never had this issue before.
thanks
I had one ring non-stop. I swapped the power cable to the PSU with a beefier one. At the same time I also plugged it in to a different outlet. It stopped it. The only reason I figured that out was because I was configuring them in one place and then moving them to another place to run. When I moved them over to where they were going to run the one started making the non-stop beep. Moved it back and forth and finally determined it was something about the place I was putting it but since I was moving the PSU also the only thing that was specific to that place was the cord and the wall outlet. So there you go. Not sure what to tell you about the temp sensor issue.

Agreed. They always get it sorted so kick back a bit and don't worry about it.
