Seeing as it came up on Twitter. Maran is technically an ex Ethereum developer because he left them 2 weeks ago. Maran also worked extensively with Mastercoin. His profile is github.com/maran
He is working on the Blockchain Notary service at the moment.

Has anyone else had issues logging into clearwallet.co ? I paste my 12 word password into the text field and click "Open Wallet" and nothing occurs. It appears the button is not active. Anyone?

Via's marketcap is far from its potential and can still easily go >100x. Price manipulation has kept it down for accumulation purposes but it is at the cusp of blast off -- a long overdue breakout should be imminent |

Understand the sentiment. I hold no LTC but the problem with btc and LTC is the backing they have and the inroads they have made into markets. There's life in em yet. I think VIA will be a fantastic asset but worry that the big money will bully it down. |

For what it's worth, MSC and Counterparty can continue to play cat an mouse with Bitcoin Core. Blocking them entirely would be difficult (although maybe not impossible if P2SH^2 were implemented by GMaxwell, although I am no expert). Meanwhile, we'll just get on and do our thing. There is a place for competition and no one system can rule them all. That's why you have things like Pepsi and Coke, or McDonalds and Burger King etc. Hell even the same companies own competing brands to get more market share... From my point of view, Viacoin ClearingHouse compliment Bitcoin / MSC / Counterparty. We have distinct advantages, but they also have other advantages over us. Our project is also just 6 weeks old, so we have a lot of ground to cover to gain a strong foothold. |
