You might get 1.2GH/s out of it, if you cleaned out all the dust bunnies.   Shocked

Is zhe rig not a bit too noisy.

Which cards are this?

3x Sapphire 7970 and 1x MSI 7970 OC
The most noisy thing is that MSI with reference cooler. It seems i have finally found a buyer for that card and i can replace it with another Sapphire. After that it will be pretty silent (at least compared to that MSI -> MSI on 70% fun speed is like 10 times louder than Sapphire on 70% fun and its also generating more heat...)

I need to focus some lights on it to get a better picture, right now all of the power outlets in the area are being taken up by the miner and other electronics.

The entire thing is held together with zip ties and some chop sticks. 3x 7950 - getting between 1.7-1.8 Mhash/sec without pushing the cards too much.

We are paying .21 for electricity including all fees (NYC), so the cost of running the miner + AC when necessary can get expensive if I push it too hard.

You're right, I should probably clean it up.  But it's running nice and cool (There's a 120mm fan in front of the 5.25" bay sucking in cold air too) and very stable.

Gpu's are between 65-85 celcius depending on time of day.

I'm doubtful cleaning it will increase hash/sec though Grin it's already overvolted and overclocked to the stable limit (electricity included in rent) Wink

I want to change the TIM on every one of those...

Twin Frozr III's  Kiss

Now that's what I call a rig! Very nice!

I will agree with HippieTech, tho. Why are 2 of them running so much cooler than the others? The same GPU, same setting, uniform spacing for airflow, and they're ranging from 59-86C?!

Hot dang =) would love to know what mobo you are using there, mem, cpu, etc?

Good one m8

I went into the garage this weekend and eyeballed up a rig like yours. Loaded it with four ref 7950s and the temps are not too bad in this mid temp weather we are having. Let's see what happens when it gets hot later this week.

Nice design mate.

Tired of substandard power distribution in your ASIC setup???   Chris' Custom Cablez will get you sorted out right!  No job too hard so PM me for a quote

No. I don't think that's what belongs in your kitchen.

Very jealous of those amazing miners.

Here are some pictures of my secondary miner (operational for 3 weeks now I think)

Less guetto then my first machine and happy to say these miners cost me so little.
The P5K motherboard with the E8400 was unused for over 5 months,
I just found 2x Radeon 6870's for 125$ each and jumped on it.
Added an "AcePower 600W PSU" and voila. (Brand sounds cheap, but they are excellent quality)

High end Maxtore 40Gig IDE Drive does the job  Grin.
