[Burst Windows Client Update 0.1.9.2 ]

http://sourceforge.net/projects/burstwindowswallet/
https://github.com/dawallet/burstwindowswallet

- updated blago's miner to the newest version
- fixed too large plots when slider on max

You can just install the new version over the old one... or change the .exe and blago's miner folder.

Feedback welcome

You posted a buy offer on the asset page ? Or do I need to send it manually to you and then you send me BURST ?

Wasn't the initial offered price 10? Should that not be the fair buy back price?

it was clear from beginning on and stated in every post about the pool asset, that it would be 5.

Alright I`ve finished 2 funding rounds, and I have major updates about INCOME asset, the detailed news you can read at the forum:

https://burstforum.com/index.php?threads/ann-income-asset-decentralized-referral-empire-based-income.839/page-6#post-6244
https://burstforum.com/index.php?threads/ann-income-asset-decentralized-referral-empire-based-income.839/page-6#post-6245
https://burstforum.com/index.php?threads/ann-income-asset-decentralized-referral-empire-based-income.839/page-7#post-6246

However to sum it up short this is that happened:

  • Changed the asset income structure, and we no longer need a fixed common fund as it's a waste of resources and exposes the fund to price volatility risk. So the funds will only be held in Bitcoin, and at dividend payouts converted to BURST & NXT
  • The new fundings changed the ownership ratio to:  NXT 16.5685% vs BURST 83.4314%
  • I`ll start diversifying more and moved some funds from Yobit to Satoshidice
  • The research program is still going, and we had some results but I`m not sure if it will be bigger than the costs, we shall see

I don't understand what happens when you Forge a block. It looks like I forged 3 blocks worth thousands yet I don't see the money deposited in my account. Was mining on a pool so did the reward go to the pool? My Burst wallet shows zero in the Forged balance column and under forged info is where I see the 3 blocks.

Yes, when you're mining on a pool and forge a block, it goes to the pool and is redistributed by the pool. If you were mining solo you'd get the funds from mining directly.

I hope that there will be some important changes that will bring interest to the coin. White paper and road Map  its too small, now we need only real change, not plans.

First of all, I was talking about a new OP.

I have also a wishlist, but we're still looking for people who want to join and help out. If a whitepaper is "too small" in your opinion you can write one today and post it.

The most important issue is to find a core developer who wants to update the Burst from 1.2.3 to at least 1.5.15.
To wait until NXT slowly dies and hope that developers go to Burst seems not to be good enough Wink

Everybody of you can help - ask around. What holds Burst together is not a so-called Promo or DevTeam - it's the community. You are part of it.

When mining is it better to have say a 2tb drive as 1 huge plot or broken down to say 2 1tb drives or 4 500gb drives? Is more miners searching smaller plots better or worse than 1 miner with a huge plot? I'm still new to burst mining and trying to get most efficiency from what storage I have. I currently have 1 2.1tb, 1 1.8tb and 2 900gig drives. All are physical drives, no partitions or split plots of any kind and the 900's once in a while find smaller deadlines while the bigger ones r still searching. I run 4 blago miners each pointing to each drive so its searching 4 at a time. Btw seen a few days ago had a 17 deadline that was over 100,000 share, not sure what it meant but thought it was cool to be on top of the share list.

"I run 4 blago miners each pointing to each drive..." - it's very bad.
Better use one miner with config:
d: 2.1 Tb
e: 1.8 Tb
f: 0.9 Tb
g: 0.9 Tb

"Paths":["D:\\plots","E:\\plots","F:\\plots","G:\\plots"]  (4 threads)
or
"Paths":["D:\\plots","E:\\plots","F:\\plots+G:\\plots"] (3 threads)

better to have 1 huge optimized/merged plot per drive.

Relax, I’m russian!...

Blago It seems Cobra was successful with his setup. Is their a long term issue with his setup because thisa guy said he was on the top of the pool so he is fast

NotABeliever, I was using Blago's miner to mine over 100TB over multiple drives - the multiple threads within one instance of the miner (eg "Paths":["D:\\plots","E:\\plots","F:\\plots","G:\\plots"])  is much more efficient than multiple instances of the miner, each mining one drive/directory. And to see how that's performing: http://burst.ninja
