Diff seems to be rising fast (based upon deadline numbers)!

It is rising fast.

Wish we could make these plots faster  Undecided

I have an idea about fast plot generation, will test it tomorrow when my 4TB drive comes in!

BTW: BURST-HLDE-XC5P-AYXL-7P49P found 2 blocks in a r0w (#644+#645)

Unfortunately the delivery of the 4TB drive was delayed. This was bought as refurbished and the site showed 1 in stock. It appears it was not in stock at all.

That sucks, luckily I have about 9 TB of free space to mess with on a server at work, Then if all goes well, I am considering building a massive storage array, just for BURST, that's how much I like it!

Remember, reads or not that important for plot generation.
Write and caching is.

When a nonce is generated your CPU will spike. When the nonce is being written to the disk you will notice your CPU drops to almost an idle state.
Turn on some performance counters and plot them in excel for example. Disk I/O VS CPU.

Something useful if you are using Linux and have 8GB+ Ram:
Turn up the write cache!

(as root):
echo 60 > /proc/sys/vm/dirty_ratio
echo 60 > /proc/sys/vm/dirty_background_ratio

Slow disk writes are now done in background while your CPU is working again.

If I have a second PoCMiner on an external doing run_generate.sh, do I also need a second run_miner for it or in burst/run.sh?
Or will it talk to the API 8125 to aggregate them?

Datacenter Technician and Electrician.  If you have any questions feel free to ask me as I am generally bored looking at logs and happy to help during free time.

I am ming with 3 hdd's. Burst Wallet is started only once (run.bat)
Miners are all started from each disk in the folder "pocminer" (run_mine.bat).
Each disk has it's one plot generated so each instance has it's own address.

Just use your passphrase (from the disk you would like to see the balance) to login to your wallet.
