Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Don't surround your password/secret with * symbols. Java is trying to run something along the lines of:
Long.parseLong(args[1]);
And this only accepts characters 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,and 9. No symbols. Smiley

Ok That worked - thanks, now I'm tying the next step which is the burst wallet file which opens internet browser, localhost:8125 tells me that web page is not available

You need to run the wallet, not generate plots before browsing to the WALLET ADDRESS on the browser.
go into wallet and run the run.sh or .bat file. Reading Readme.txt would be an extremely good idea, it would have answered all your questions.

go into wallet and run the run.sh or .bat file. Reading Readme.txt would be an extremely good idea, it would have answered all your questions.

Now it works. I followed the instructions per windows guide first page. Telling people to read the readme.txt file defeats the purpose of having instructions link on the first page.

Thats what I thought. Who is paying 0.8BTC for lousy 10 Blocks? Thats >400$!

I started a few days ago and rented a cheap root server (consumer hardware i7, 2x3tb) for 50€/month. Its still building the plots, 1.2TB so far, and already found 15 Blocks. After one month it will have found at least 40 blocks, if not a lot more. For 50€ (0.13 BTC)!

AE is forgetting difficulty and how long will it take to get to 2 billion, if ever within a lifetime. Market value isn't set mostly from total amount the coin can have, it's dictated by other factors mostly. ie. popularity, difficulty of mining the coin, tech and/or other factors.....

be good lucky ...at least i will not sell it at such price,, so many shit ipo coin and totally copy mode coin with out any inovation can reach that price,,,this is the first hdd based coin,making the coin mine with a totally new direction, if it sccueed in the future, there will be lots of new coin copy this mode,,

are you sure you can still mine 10 block every week? pools are building, and this coin came out only 5 days , it surely easy to mine, but next week and later? when pools finish the building, and with lots of miners coming,  1tb is noting at all, every one can get one, i have newly purchased 2TB yesterday for next mining, ,every one can mined gpu based and mining this coin at the same time, they will surely be lad to do this, because it can make full use of computers, TB are noting at all, loot at the post pages, so many people have TB+ hdd, and one i remember, he has 30TB hdd, of course, he can't creating all plots now,, when every one finished plots creating and innumerable new miners coming, can you make sure that you can still get 10 block a week?
