You guys know how Counterparty announced they were implementing Smart Contracts? They recently said they didn't think they'd have them running until hopefully March.. Ethereum is hopefully to get something out in the same time frame. Meaning Burst is just about to become the first coin to have decentralized Automatic Transactions/Smart Contracts working. This is very news worthy and a great starting point to get burst on major news site like coin desk. After which continuous PR effort should bring us full moon without much prayer !

can not be more than 10K a day with 100T with 10 ~ 15 T oscilaltions as we have now and it aint going down, you better of buying on an exchange price should drop big time before years end, next year is an open end game
can you explain why price should drop big before years end? ty Highly doubt it will drop much since we have AT released. More innovation using AT should come online very soon. AT itself enables endless branching out of new features, this alone beat anything out there right now. Not to mention more new features developed by our dear developer will be coming online later on. Right now , burst got a killer apps/feature (Automatic Transaction)Take a look at OP Basic pool support (done)
Improved pool support (done) Advanced transactions(escrow, subscription, reserve funds then transfer not yet known portion later)
Automatic transactions (turing complete) (done) BurstId authentication system Allow linking BurstId to burst account for transfers with spending limits. DHT for off-chain services Off-chain encrypted messaging and voip between burstid accounts File storage(disclaimer: still figuring out a good way to do this. this will take a while.)Few months down the road , we will get more killer apps / feature With block reward cutting every month and new feature coming online frequently , it's hard to imagine price will fall in a big way. On the other hand , it's hard to not imagine price goes full moon. I predict one crypto currency will take over litecoin on 2015 because of this happening to litecoin Litecoin Creator Charlie Lee Claims Litecoin Does Not Need Developmenthttps://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/litecoin-creator-charlie-lee-claims-litecoin-not-need-development-says-adding-gimmicks-not-help-currency-succeed/Stopping development is as good as giving itself death sentence Price agrees that litecoin is slowly dying https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/btce/ltcusdSo i ask myself a question. If i have 1 BTC what will i invest in ? Litecoin or Burst ? If we increase burst branding and awareness , more people will ask the same question. We need PR effort to let more people know about burst so that more people can ask themselves the same question. If we can get 10,000 new people to ask the same question and take action , guess where the price will go ? 2015 will be a good year for burst and bitcoin.

Let's hope not for long! You want to help market it? Anyone who wants to help, we could use it. A few of us on here got together and came up with a marketing plan. We could really use help implementing it.

vbcs wallet is looking a little bit emptier than it should be after all this hard work: BURST-NUFU-7PX7-KHVM-7EMNC I sent him 200K myself (and an extra 250k.. that was sent to the wrong address and lost forever. Whoops! ) Let's see if we can't make him a millionaire, if not multimillionaire! I'm convinced he prefers Burst over Qora.. except that he's very heavily invest into Qora (as payment after AT are running), let's make sure he's at least got a decent sized wallet balance over here too. burstcoin was very helpful in implementing and cleaning and debugging them but vbcs sent a lot of time on them and is being very generous by letting us launch ATs in parallel with or before Qora instead of trying to launch them there first.

So what's the best way to launch an AT, using the just-released Burst?

Recently i mined a block with a 1-million BURST transaction in it. The sender had used the default fee setting, so the block came with an awesome 1000 BURST fee.. thanks a lot, for that extra loot.
However, i think i better make clear for all that when you send a transaction, you can select whatever fee you like, as long as it is more than or equal to 1 BURST. so if you have to fling a million somewhere, you *could* set the fee to 10 or whatever you feel like in the moment. 1000 is fine too, but you don't have to expense that much fee if you don't feel like it.
If the sender thinks 1000 BURST was a bit high, and didn't know it was possible to select less, i can refund some of the loot, otherwise thank you very much, for an unexpected christmas gift.

So what's the best way to launch an AT, using the just-released Burst?
There's a create AT button in the ui in the AT tab under transactions. You can put the assembled bytes of the at code in the code box(hex 0-9a-f). If you want to initialize it's memory you can provide that also in the data box(can be full or partial), or you can leave it empty to default all memory to 0s. You set the number of 256 byte pages of each type for data, call stack, and user stack. Min activation amount is a threshold for how much the balance must increase to resume the AT from a stop or finish command. When iterating through received transactions, all transactions with an amount less than min activation amount are ignored. This is to keep the AT from wasting it's funds processing dust, and you should set min activation amount to the amount of fee it will pay for processing a transaction. The min activation amount is also subtracted when retrieving the amount of a transaction, so the AT can work with the net balance directly without worrying about subtracting away the amount used processing it. The amount of fee you need to pay is 1 burst per page. Code also uses 256 byte pages, but there is no need to specify the amount as it is directly calculated from the code supplied. After the create AT transaction is confirmed, the list in the at tab will show all ATs you have created. It is highly recommended that you read the ciyam docs to know how the opcodes and apis behave. Currently the only ways to get the bytecode is to use my assembler https://github.com/BurstProject/ATAssembler or to convert it by hand.

can you explain why price should drop big before years end? ty possibly due to the natural behavior of the markets during Holiday season, might be a window of opportunity however now with the automated NOT atomic transactions announcement situation might be very different I would still observe market carefully especially in the coming days

Also some examples of AT can be found on the site ( www.ciyam.org/at.html ) . All the cases there (except from the acct case ) are using the old API specification, and I will convert them soon to follow the new API specifications. I am willing to program any ATs you might think and want, and if so, just drop me a message. But as burstcoin said, it is better to read the documentation before you try it yourself and understand how it works to create effiecient ATs that will last forever

I am running my fork, after merging 1.2.0 into it. Everything i have tested seems to be running smoothly. Not many 1.2.0 peers out there just yet, but we're usually a fast upgrading bunch of dudes, so i guess it'll be mostly green again in peers in a few days.
the block rescanning takes a long time if your pc is a bit slow, so expect some minutes downtime, up to 20 minutes on my slowest pc, 7 minutes on my fastest.
Looking forward to play around with the AT's and perhaps create a few innovative things.

AT stands for Automat ed Transactions and not atomic transactions Thank you Legendary & Vbcs, I was caught up in > 1000 alt coins and 1000 assets something that automated NOT automatic transactions will fix I hope ? btw Legendary it is something restricted to BURST you have been working with or you will bless other coins with your help as well ? thank you (corrections made with both fear and respect)
