The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Why are my Moneros almost 10 % more expensive than 24 hrs ago? Something drastic taking Place?

Nothing is happening. Pay no attention to Monero.  Roll Eyes

A good meme of a guy who just realized he is getting rich with Moneros would be nice, I tried to find one but did not find anything suitable.
Anyhow, holding a bag of Moneros and basically doing nothing is ironically the best way to become rich. Too much Trading just makes you lose your coins to the pockets of whales.

P.S. Noticed that Monero is about to get some publicity from this guy (read from the comment box): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VD9GOslS4zg

it's moneroj

Do you guys expect just a jump or you want a more stable coin which can take the place of btc?

Since you have a Rise sig campaign this may come as a surprise to you, but there is much more to crypto than just 'the pump'.  Similar to how pink sheet stocks are mostly fluff, with occasional real gems - this is one of those real gems.

Success necessarily entails a large increase in price but that isn't the primary concern for many here.  We are here because the technology really is the best in the world.  I encourage you to do some research and discover why this honestly might replace/complement Bitcoin one day.  In the coming months and years many will make money in crypto, but only a handful will keep it.

A video worth watching again of American Pegasus talking about the price of Monero: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEzNXzZy8e4

I suspect the time is near. The market is getting mature, volume & liquidity is up consistently, the community seems to have grown a lot. GUI, I think, will be the major turning point that will finally bring Monero to the masses. Then the RingCT is closing in. ETH is struggling, and I think some money will spill over from that camp. Zcash keeps getting delayed and could even be a bad idea after all. There's no doubt in my mind: Monero still holds the throne. Nothing better has been released in these two years we've been active.

I don't usually make predictions, but I predicted this crash down to sub 0.002 correctly. It was brutal, but didn't last very long, in fact we hit 0.003 couple of weeks ago.

It may still take some time to recover, and I consider sub 0.002 a very good price to buy more. Personally I've been buying anywhere in the range of 0.0018-0.0026.

So let's make a new prediction: We'll break 0.0043 this year.

If this happens, it could be the event AP talks about, where price levels are left behind, never to be seen again.

I suspect when I made that video my BAC was about to break 0.43.  I'm surprised I was able to even speak straight into the camera.

Its kept low because these days the marketcap of a coin is inversely proportional to the worthiness X time alive X real chance of obliterating Bitcoin.

Well said.  Literally the worse something is, the more it goes up.
Have you seen hyperstake today?  750% yearly inflation, lol!  Therefore it pumps like crazy.

I've started shoving small amounts of money into the absolute WORST coins I can find on poloniex.  Since then they're all up, and Monero is down.  Every time one rockets up I sell it and buy more monero, but then I wonder why I am doing that, because Monero only goes down, while these shitcoins easily get pumped hundreds of percent.

Good work.  Keep stealing ch33p XMR from the market and hloding them in your strong hands.  Using shitcoin pumps to help is some great jujutsu.

Emission is inexorably declining, while features and public awareness can only get better from here.   Cool
