Diff 54.5 hasnt moved    are we stuck there?
 Huh Huh Huh Huh
Currently 54.7. At current network difficulty, our overall hashrate moves extremely slowly.

On the solo.ckpool.org website it says:

Quote
All you need to confirm you are mining to your own address is to examine the coinbase and template sent to you over stratum.

Just out of curiosity, could someone tell me how I can confirm this? i.e. how can I examine the coinbase and template sent to me over stratum?

I'm running an S9 solo. Just testing my luck Smiley

I believe there may be online tools to do so, but you can do it yourself with the latest version of cgminer and your own bitcoin daemon, using cgminer's --decode option. The instructions are with cgminer and in one of the last posts on the cgminer thread as well, but you'll need a linux box and a bit of know how to get it going.

Thanks @ck. I was thinking it would be far less involved than that. I'll give it a shot sometime.

what is this?

Those are accepted Shares. Since you're really only looking for a Block solve on this (or any) solo pool you can remove a lot of that noise (and network traffic) by drastically increasing your diff. You currently have it at something like 17, and though the pool will try to auto adjust, it will also respect "suggest-diff"...so I think you can realistically bump that to 10000, though with a Compac-2 you will have much less feedback that all is working. If you want or need that feedback, maybe pick a value a bit lower, 1000 or even 500.

That higher suggest-diff value will quiet things, though under the covers they will be running much the same, just not submitting those low shares.

Good luck mining!

yes I have it set low diff due to anything higher and it sends my miner into DEAD or ZOMBIE... rather have the traffic spam on my console than having to reboot it alot

Let it be sooner and let it be someone who plays Friday lottery here on a regular basis for a long time.

thanks. I found that post but it doesn't reveal much.

what is different to your regular pool that just sends payout (had 1 minimal so far, thanks Wink ) to the given wallet as username and this solo pool?

do I need to do more?

I was talking about configurations. So just entering the wallet as user is enough just in case luck is on my side one day?
