Yes, the chances are higher to win if you play more often. But what are your tactics then?

SatoshiDice has been working quite well for the last few weeks!
Investments are also returning, with over 4500 BTC invested.
Keep up the good work. It's fun to play again Smiley

Let's be honest, investments have been okay. Just 1% return in past 4 weeks. Bankroll is too saturated.

Don't think the bankroll is saturated; the total profit curve on the stats page is also flatlining. Yes, roll volume appears to be up, but the value of those rolls must be declining a lot. Unless they're bot bets by the house itself to make the game appear full.

Here are the last four weeks' profit:

As you can see, there was quite a large loss on the 20th June, which reduced what was 2% profit over two weeks (say ∼4% over your four weeks) to 1%. Losses happen: this is a casino. But I'm not doing RH's job for him Tongue

Let me clarify what I mean by saturated. The BTC wagered over the past 4 weeks is very small compared to such a large bankroll. So site profit (even taking into account one bad run) is pretty diluted from an investor perspective. Low volume + big bankroll = small profits. I'm not saying any of this is bad. I just wanted to put some context to tarantoga's comments that "investments are returning" and citing a big bankroll as evidence.

Yeah, I appreciate the sentiment, and my own calculations of annualised return from the site are now moving down, though before the big downtime a few weeks ago, the bankroll was 10% larger than it is now and there was no saturation.

Thus, BTC wagering has dramatically declined. I'm not quite sure why that is. Maybe it was one downtime too much. But I think it's about time the signature campaign got underway to bring SD back to normality.

EDIT: I might see what you're saying actually; investments are returning, but they are not generating any return!

I think we are in agreement. My issue is with the decline in actual BTC wagered. I'm sure the downtime had a lot to do with it.

too much users made useless bets to create flood
put some filters to put them on que for the next bet, condition take in calculation to be payout and bet amount...
lower payout and lower bet amount -> higher time to wait for next bet...
higher payout and higher bet amount -> lower time to wait for next bet...
