i do not gamble anymore (to expensive in the meantime) but to be fair to the community you should also lower your min bet not only your max bet. what is your min bet btw? 0.01? i cannot see it on the first look at your website.

Hi there! The min is .01 - once we relaunch Tribute, there will likely be lower minimums as well - we truly appreciate your comment! Smiley

Why did you guys lower the payout of the .01%-odds bet? I used to play that a lot and I noticed one day that suddenly it stopped working for about a day or so, and then when it came back online the potential payout was much lower.

Did someone win and break the bank?

Just lost BTC65 on 3 seperate bets, 2 on the 85% address and 1 on the 73% address. I now hate my life for having lost $50,000 in an hour.
Any theorycrafter/math buffs that could figure out what the probability of losing all 3 of those bets are? has to be slim....

I could use some comfort right now.

The site hasn't been processing bets for 2.5 hours (since 19:52 forum time). Doing some maintenance? Next time please put a notice on the site or something because this isn't the first time and people are always wondering what's going on. That said I like the look of the new site  Wink

Odds of losing all 3 of these bets: 0.15 x 0.15 x 0.27 = 0.00675. 0.6% chance of losing all 3 if betting those 3.

One in 166.67 chance of losing a 3 bet series of those three.

Anyone else notice some very strange occurrences?  Multiple bets made together are being processed up to 30 min apart?  Not saying they are but it almost looks like they are being selectively placed?

Hey there,

It wasn't planned maintenance, otherwise we would have happily warned folks. We are having an issue with one of our providers, which is causing some delays. No data is lost - that's the very good news - but we are extremely aware of and apologetic of the slower responses. We're on it - thanks for the heads up Smiley

Hi there,

As I previously mentioned, we are having delays due to issues with a backend provider, so we are processing bets in batches when we're able to in order to speed things up. VERY sorry for the delays. All transactions are still provably fair, and no data is lost - just slower than usual, sometimes by minutes, sometimes by hours. Nothing more dramatic, thankfully, and it will be resolved soon. Thanks mucho Smiley

Hi!

This indicates whether the spirit of that particular bet/odds has been kind or cruel as of late. The algorithm is intentionally mysterious, as the Spirit of Satoshi loves to keep us guessing, but it's a fun way to know if those odds have been on a hot streak or instead have been running cold. Kat, on both the old and the new site the following is stated on the verification page/tab:

Quote
You can see all of this on the full details page for your transaction.
On the old site there were two ways to get there 1) by clicking on details in the recent bets list or 2) using the long-poll api on the advanced tab. The new site however doesn't have a details column and the link 'click here to lookup transactions' on the 'how to play - advanced tips' page goes to 'https://satoshidice.com/?stage=1#'. That link doesn't seem to do anything when i append a transaction id at the end of that link (Am I doing something wrong?)

Question ofcourse is how a player is supposed to get to the full details page? I myself have the old link (http://legacy.satoshidice.com/full.php?tx=) bookmarked, which still works, because I like to look up the lucky number of my bets and I don't have the time to watch the site for 20 minutes until my bet is shown/processed. Personally I would love it if a there was a field on the home page where you could input a transaction id and that would take you directly to the full details page, basically like looking up a transaction id on blockchain.info.

Also, before tribute was launched you could use 'https://satoshidice.com/lookup.php' to look up all bets made by one address but this link gives a 404 error. Love to have this back because it was especially usefull for looking up the lucky numbers if you made a lot of bets from the same address.
