Hi Juicey. Are there any concrete plans to revise the current site design and introduce new features/improvements, or are you just asking generic question? In other words, what are the chances that good suggestions will actually be implemented in near future?

Apart from refreshing the design and performance improvement, what do you think will be the most important aspect to be improved from the site ?

Refreshing design is a good idea, you could use a bit brighter/livelier colours, or provide different modes (day mode/night mode) like some other sites do.

Few improvement suggestions from the top of my head would be:

• Prompt users to set up usernames/passwords. Maybe allow everyone to access the site with temporary username to check the site, but tell them to set a password/2FA when they click 'deposit'?
• Jackpot feature. Only bets of 1000 sats (or above) counted. This should increase the volume, attract/retain more players, give more profit for you, investors, referrers, but occasionally (when jackpot pool goes very high) players will get mathematical advantage (EV+) making things more interesting. This imo would be the best addition, but it probably will require you to change the commission structure, either by charging more than 10% or reducing referral rates.
• Implement Shapeshift for deposits (and maybe for withdrawals), so players can deposit with altcoins.
• Discourage self-referrals. Either by blocking same ip addresses, or (probably simpler) by introducing requirements for registering for referral program. i.e. You need to wager min X amount to have the option unblocked, alternatively (if you own a popular website etc) email admin to register.
• On referral page, add 'share on twitter/facebook' buttons (with ref links embedded). + share few banners of different sizes
• Add 'permanent' leaderboard(s), i.e. top 10 players with all time highest wagered, top 10 highest profit, top 10 biggest losses etc
• Bring back the chatbot, as a permanent feature (if possible).

Dude, learn some respect.
No need to insult, neither me nor them.
I didn't pay much attention to the time indeed, it doesn't mean my comment wasn't reasonnable. It means that whatever the duration of the "down" it wasn't so long unless you have personal problems.
And it's not like they're the only gambling site in the world! If you're not happy go somewhere else no need to insult everyone...

0.5% isn't too low I think, because it makes you different to other dice sites where they always use a 1% fixed HE, and safedice is variable which gives some protection to investors on huge bets. I would leave the HE as it is.

Agree. Low house edge is probably SD's biggest selling point, with 1% it would be just another dice-site with no advantages over more established competitors.

In terms of attractiveness to investors, the bankroll is steadily growing, currently at 408 btc (all time high in USD and not far behind ATH in BTC), meaning investors don't have a problem with 0.5% HE.

The expected profit is not as high as it was, but it's still decent and looks more-less like this (weekly stats for SafeDice from dicesites.com):

weekly wagered: 485 / current bankroll: 408 x HE (net of 10% house commission) 0.45% = Expected weekly profit: 0.00535 btc for every 1 btc invested (this translates to annual rate of ~28%)

This formula omits the effect of flexible HE. The score can widely differ if different week or longer period is used for calculation.

I agree. I think the having the lowest house edge is what sets us apart from other dice sites. I am glad to see SafeDice is becoming more popular and our house bank roll is almost at an all time high!

Also out of curiosity. I would like you guys to comment on what kind of contests or promotions you think would be fun and interesting for SafeDice to do. Right now the Admin and I have been talking about doing a monthly wagering contest to see who can wager the most in a month. What do you all think?

SafeDice's Weekly Wager Contest

I am happy to announce the start of our weekly wager contest!
Rules:

Beginning on 2/4/2017 at 0:00 UTC we will keep track of the total amount wagered by players until 2/11/2017 0:00 UTC.
During this time period any wagered amount will count towards our contest.

First place: 0.3BTC (most wagered amount during the time period)
Second place: 0.2BTC (second most wagered amount during the time period)
Third place: 0.1BTC (third most wagered amount during the time period)

Please let me know if you have any questions/concerns I will be glad to answer them.

Note

As of right now we do not have a current weekly leaderboard on the site. You might show up on the monthly leaderboard but just because you aren't first does not mean you are not first in the weekly contest. We can still track who wagers the most internally while we work on a weekly leaderboard.
