1021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the launch to the Moon that we were waiting for? on: May 18, 2017, 06:40:54 AM
Seem we have another country that will follow Japan according to news from https://www.crypto-news.net/bitcoin-to-become-just-like-money-in-australia-on-july-1/?utm_source=pushengage&utm_medium=push_notification&utm_campaign=pushengage

Australian is gonna consider Bitcoin like ordinary currency from July 1, 2017. As mentioned in article link they wont have to pay double tax. So we are on the role for another country besides Japan that will accept BTC, personally didnt expect them to be this soon.
1022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits $1,600 and one investor says it could rally to $4,000 in few months on: May 17, 2017, 11:51:28 AM
Sure we could expect to see bitcoin hit this price by end of this year, if we look that bitcoin price has maintained a strong rally over the past few months for anything that comes to broke it , then, we see that price is struggling to re-enter the $1,800 region after it experienced a correction last week.

If we look price change on monthly base then we can expect to see price go up for about 30% in this case we could hit OP target price within this year.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: May 17, 2017, 11:42:06 AM
I have noticed so many players are just gambling for the sake of profits only. But majority of them loses most of the games eventually as they are not smart players.

So how should we gamble in a smart way so that we do not get more frustrations due to continuous losses?
Only profits can make people happy that is why they choosing gambling than risking there money into investment without guaranteed that htye can really earn from there. You can play smart with gambling by playing with small amount then playing safe is much better when you are not sure with the round then not bet but if you are sure enough make your bets bigger.
I think people select gambling only for the reason as they think that gambling can be the fastest way of earning money with less effort. But real fact is, it can only be done, if you are lucky, because luck is the key to success and if you do not have this within you then you cannot become succeeded in gambling even in betting and any type of investments too.
In other games of casino it is right that gambling all depend on luck and if the person is lucky then he can be millionaire while in sports I think if the person is expert in sports then he can easily win.
People holding good knowledge base in sports events earn easier than the other ways of gambling such as the dice and other lottery slots. To be smart and grab some good winning it's good to place small amounts and move on gradually when to slowly learn the strategies to avoid losses.

Sport betting or gambling is much easier like you said. Prime for this is knowledge of in case of football teams in league, starting teams, who are injured and suspended players, and lot of other thing. Most do this and aim on luck or play single game with certain win with quotes from 1.1 to 1.45, that is clean win. Sure they are sometimes when favorite lose match it happens but when you think how they play think that most very experience gambles in sport have very small percentage of lose.
1024  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the launch to the Moon that we were waiting for? on: May 17, 2017, 11:38:14 AM
Well according to me ,its the beginning of a new revolution as the price of bitcoins is going high as the mainstream has been adopted by japan. On the other hand if other countries also adopt bitcoins then it is possible that the price of bitcoins will reach the moon in a matter of years.

Japan made preparation before they fully adopted it so i think that if any country want to do the same will follow Japan example, and they will probably do the same as they. Off course the more countries do this the better then price has to up and it will be good for us all.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins price can be manipulate? on: May 16, 2017, 11:47:07 AM
I think it can be manipulate. Big whales can buy huge amount of specific altcoin and dump it when its done pumping. LTC is a good example. Most of LTC holders are chinese. They can easily pump and dump it whenever they want. I analyzes things first before jumping in. I dont jump on peak which is dangerous.

You made good example cuz its true especially on litecoin. On some others there were also talks but nothing that can be said it 100% true like in LTC case.
Most think if they follow volume they will make profit, that is true but is some cases you can sell them and then you are busted.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: May 16, 2017, 11:38:53 AM
Here is something you might consider as smart gambling cuz i do this for quite some time. Sport betting is the mean.

We have multiple sites that offer sport bet in any sport football/soccer, basketball, tennis, .... you name it. My betting is simple and you can always win.

I use this method: Find a game let say soccer/football game, on multiple sites (2 sites different ones are needed), let say like this.
one site: team1 : team2 --- bet option under 2.5 goals (aim that this must be quite above 2.1 at least)
other site: team1 : team2 --- bet option over 2.5 goals (same match but different site with same or higher quote)

calculation:
1. placed 0.01 for example you will get 0.021
2. placed 0.01 for example you will get 0.021
you placed 0.02 and get 0.021, mean you earn 0.001 clean

Consider this as smart gambling
1027  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: May 16, 2017, 11:27:39 AM
If your saying individual economy well might be yes since bitcoin is the best sideline i've ever see and yet earning pretty good with it right now. but in Economic growth of certain countries? then i might say No for now since bitcoin has not yet circulating on some offline establishments and that is the reason why bitcoins is pretty much unknown for those people who are not been attaintive to their computers.
It needs to be understood by you that an economic growth experiencd by an individual will surely lead to the growth of the country's economy. Because when an user starts using bitcoin directly or indirectly an inflow is created within the country. So without doubt bitcoin helps in the growth of Country's economy.

Not need to be true, think that this will be on individual country and economy of that country. Dont think that all can do this and improve you by allowing for bitcoin to be used in every day payment/transactions. There are more to this then just to import bitcoin as mean of paying they will need to have lot of thing prepared and some reserves in bitcoin or fiat for this purpose.

Think that we need to wait and see how will Japan come out in next few month cuz they fully acknowledged it.

1030  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits $1,600 and one investor says it could rally to $4,000 in few months on: May 15, 2017, 06:56:04 AM
I was just thinking about that this year will end up to $1,500 but it was still too early. And after the first quarter of this year we saw the price went up to $1,600 and now at $1,700+ I would not say that $4,000 this year is impossible because the market is becoming bigger but it will take time before crossing that mark.
Until the end of the year, the market may still explode and the price of 4k dollars may not be the limit, if we look at the growth rate.

As I understand Bitcoin price is increasing because its become harder to obtain, but at the end of the day it is just a means of transferring payments electronicaly. So why don't people simply switch to any of the other Altcoins instead of keep pumping the value of Bitcoin?

Because bitcoin has become an investment instrument for some people or groups. Bitcoin has a bright prospect as a digital currency, altcoin is in comparison because bitcoin is a measuring instrument.
What price fluctuations in the Bitcoin market can be watched without fading of the heart. I experienced every day how this year will pass with Bitcoin prices. Today, I really look at the forecasts that were voiced earlier that Bitcoin can fly up to 2000 dollars for one Bitcoin and I think that it will be even more.

But the downfall can create some awareness to those shaky peopls and they might sold their hodl coins if they see some bad flactuations unto it. And im wondering on how things would go for bitcoins and now im questioning people about it does speculation still occur unto this? or maybe this time is the fallen time of bitcoin and cameback again to its stable prices.

If we look at last few day then we could say that price is coming to that state to be stable, this may be good time to look at possible signs for price drops that not necessary need to be in motion. Dont think we will see price going below 1500 per one BTC, think that it will be hard resistance at that point and if price again started to up like it was few weeks ago with increase of 3,5-5% per day we could expect this 4K this year.

1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will the price of Dogecoin be by the year 2020? on: May 15, 2017, 06:52:35 AM
I don't think Doge will ever rise to the moon, but I don't think it will fall to zero either. It's an accepted altcoin with $23,000,000 market cap, so I think it even might go up some day. My prediction for the year 2020 would be 100 Satoshis per coin, because this is the price this coin deserves IMO.

one week ago (3  months after your post) dogecoin reached 100 satoshi then went down . market cap is now 135 million $

Remember that DOGE was almost 200 satoshi back few years ago, so think he can reach this big amount again dont see any other way look at litecoin he returned almost to former big  price, so I expect to see this and with DOGE cuz he got good market cap and big community support. Maybe he will hit this year maybe next one but eventually price will go over 100 saroshi. There were some rumors and talks that initial creation was for doge to be one dollar maybe by the 2020 it might come to that.
1032  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits $1,600 and one investor says it could rally to $4,000 in few months on: May 13, 2017, 10:14:25 AM
we can see to bitcoin's price is continuously getting increased but as of now I haven't see any possibilities that it could go $4000 easily maybe for a several months but I don't think it can be in just a few months as the activity of bitcoin and the movements of its price is just slowly getting higher .

Possible to touch $4000 if only the scaling issue can be resolved. Price of bitcoin now has risen to almost $2000 now without any resolution. So if we could only agreed what solution is the best and implement it $4000 or even more is very possible.

That is a very big if. The block size debate is contentious and has split the bitcoin community vertically down the middle.
Still, it was good to see $1800+ reached even in the midst of the debate. Now we have the inevitable profit booking and Bitcoin is sliding down again.
Several times during the time of debate on the blocksize issue the price has grown high as well reached low. As quoted the recent price surge over $1800 too took place in an unexpected time. As the thread heading states the probability to reach $4k is there, but when it happens is simply unknown.

We how have price correction and read that some are speculating here and mentioned that it may be in process right now blocksize increase that we dont know about. Maybe this is false statement here but if this is to happen then ok 4k here we come.

But what will be in next few days and is it true that ETF is again on section in Monday 15th May.
1033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: May 13, 2017, 10:09:01 AM
This will be key year in progress and evolution for bitcoin (if there is something to evolve), we started year good and we could say this one would be better then last one and it would be great to be next one even better. But for that we need lot of thing to be good. Hope that this price increase that is good for us all will be key one in adoption more user in bitcoin.

1034  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the right number of BTC to own in order to become rich in 10 years?? on: May 13, 2017, 10:04:43 AM
I was wondering, how many BTC do anyone needs to own in order to become rich in 10 years.

 Smiley

Several factor are in this question of yours.

Main is where are you located I mean what is your country, if it some highly developed country then i would like to say it will take you 100 BTC with current price rate, if you in the middle maybe half so around 50 BTC, and for the last in low developed countries i would say less then 10 or maybe 5 BTC as high amount. This is really good question you mentioned and really is hard to answer it, my answer is just my opinion anyone can have his.

1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin will see 10$ and above 2016 on: May 13, 2017, 09:56:59 AM
Price for one ltc is 30$ like it or not was it for seg with or not, ask what would it be if that was activate on bitcoin?
After the activation of segwit the price of litecoin came down and it was really unexpected as far as i am concerned as i have purchased a chuck of litecoin thinking that the price would keep moving after the activation as some the coins had a good rally after the activation and the price of litecoin just corrected after the activation.

Litecoin is still good with current market price and volume, but to think it was good after all when all comes to it.

Litecoin does not have a block size problem, and SegWit is not just a block scaling solution. I would even say block scaling is just a side benefit of SegWit. The main fix is transaction malleability, which would allow Lightning Networks to be built on top of Litecoin. And there are a bunch more nice features of SegWit.
1036  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the launch to the Moon that we were waiting for? on: May 13, 2017, 09:35:26 AM
And as they say, with he increase in demand and so thus the users, is Bitcoin ready for this? Will the Blockchain would be able to accommodate this transactions? We should hope that the Bitcoin user's would take it slowly with regards of its current capability because if it will shoot incredibly high that is beyond what it is capable then it might as well trigger the fall ofBitcoin.
- Bitcoin is ready
- Blockchain can accommodate this transactions
- Current capability (1 mb per block) can be enough to include all transactions, mempool is full because of spam transactions rather than from legit/normal transactions currently
- Segwit and LN will be activated on bitcoin that will increase its capability and will provide cheaper and faster confirmation in future so i don't think there will be any panic regarding unconfirmed transaction in future.

I hope the developers will act soon rather than later. These transaction issues will just hinder the mainstream adoption. $1 in transaction fees for sending 10 bucks doesnt sounds great..

I think if they fixed the transaction fees and the speed of transactions, the price would be much higher than it currently is. All of these new people coming in are going to see how long it takes to send Bitcoin with the current times and hate it.

This is major issue but if solved very fast and to increase speed then we will withes new age of money for sure image that. For me it will like in star trek or something, just kidding on this.
Major players involving in this like Japan who is one of big tech countries, India is rumored to be next one and no talks about China at all, which is little strange by me, hoped they will be in this to be among first ones not the last ones, or maybe they are waiting to see how it will be will it be good or bad call.
1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will bitcoin activate segwit as litecoin price peaks at 30USD? on: May 13, 2017, 09:30:31 AM
litecoin price increased over 300 percent in a month and Chinese investors had a discussion last week about the future of litecoin. http://news.8btc.com/litecoin-price-peaks-at-30-usd-but-is-it-a-bubble
Since Litecoin is often looked as a Bitcoin testbed, they wonder if btc will soon activate segwit, though Bitcoin keeps meeting opposition from miners.

Activating Segwit is not that easy.  Remember they need to reach that 95% of hash rate for them to start activating Segwit.  Not because  LTC increasing in price to 30 USD, Bitcoin will automatically implement segwit?  It does not work that way, and remember Bitcoin is independent of whatever event happen to LTC.

Not need to be like that cuz litecoin is always used as test for some things that can be implemented in bitcoin, but think that this is really tough one to be. Cuz both offer something unique and yet they dont have this support. What it will be at the end this is really good call. But no matter what happen think that it will come to the point that price will sky jump in one moment, maybe im wrong but if price increase from current like in ltc case image the btc price.
1038  Economy / Speculation / Re: A price correction is happening now on: May 13, 2017, 08:46:40 AM
This down mean that price correction is in order it can be like that by 1500 and the up to 2000 or 3000. Price is over 1700 at the moment so think that this down peak was only temporally and that we would be fix it in matter of days think that in Monday we will have price again over 1800, so dont need to be worry about anything.
1039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will bitcoin activate segwit as litecoin price peaks at 30USD? on: May 12, 2017, 05:37:05 PM
The Segwit-BU duo seems ended as there had been no more news coming up by the miners decided to switching over BU and they are already going to switch to SegWit because if they won't, they will regret. Prices for Litecoin has touched new ATH because I think these big competing alts have always reached ATH whenever Bitcoin got pumped.

This may be true, cuz it could be same effect on bitcoin like on litecoin. This battle between SEG and BU it pointless and maybe they need to resolve this once it for all. Think that they monitored very closely what happen to price of litecoin, and that they calculating every possible scenario good and bad for this implementation.

Litecoin has increased more than $700 in a month is an effort from segwit to win the community animos, I think BU did lose in this round, but I am sure they will always take advantage of negative issues that will happen in the future with more luxurious concept. But I'm not very concerned and very happy with the condition of cryptocurrency balanced at this time.

Condition are good but still I was thinking what would be if something would be activated on bitcoin. What would be? Would it be price jumping so high that we wont be able to sell it or it would be like with LTC price slowly every day with some percentage up. Still we will see in next few month maybe years will it be segwit or BU that will make difference.
1040  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the launch to the Moon that we were waiting for? on: May 12, 2017, 05:33:23 PM
i think the japan thing will turn out to be bigger than we expected, even though i don't think the japanese people are gonna do much with it. the fact that it's now 100% legit there and banks and major companies are looking into exchanges is gonna put a rocket up a few asses elsewhere.

that means the attention won't slow down. it really, really could do with addressing the scaling thing and soon though. there could come a point where hype meets limitations and it all slows down again.

It seem like it is. Rumors are that India will follow this and some other are rumor to do this are Indonesia and Philippines. If this price jump is influence just with Japan adoption it in every day image how will be with this. Some speculate that China maybe is in this story to, but think that major players will wait little longer for this to implement or adopt.
