1041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would be Satoshi's opinion on blocksize debate ? on: January 26, 2016, 04:10:18 PM
I see we can guess that his opinion will be what the majority holds today: that limit has to be raised. I have not been for too long in this forum, but I have come to see almost everybody wants some sort of blocksize raise sooner or later.
1042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great news 4 European Bitcoiners on: January 26, 2016, 04:02:17 PM
It is good news. However, I somewhat get a feeling that they are doing this much of ignoring crypto, as if they were not all that important. Let'see how things keep going on.

Yes, Europe seems like a good place to have crypto.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2016: Revenge of the Alts on: January 26, 2016, 03:55:51 PM
Lol funny. You seem to be quite right here, recent Dogecoin price raise caught many unwarned. Cryptos aren't likely to die, when rumors struck BTC, then altcoins go up. Just too many to end.
1044  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New doge rotator (only 8 o more doge faucets) on: January 26, 2016, 03:46:55 PM
Hi swivel, nice to see you around here  Grin thanks for putting up this faucet, I will go check it right now to get some doge.... they are quite valuable today!. Have a great day, bro.
1045  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Litoshiclaims New part from Satoshiclaims! Up to 100000 Litoshi Every hour on: January 26, 2016, 12:51:10 PM
Claimed with no problem whatsoever, Thank you!. I have nothing bad to say about this faucet: easy to find address box and claim button, funcaptcha (that makes captcha completion easier). All ok. I only expect for it to be for a long time.
1046  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is everyone ignoring problems? on: January 26, 2016, 04:14:45 AM
As I see it, problems are potential/future problems. As far as I am concerned, Bitcoin continues to work just as is supposed to do. I do transfer, buy, and sell almost everyday with no problem.
1047  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ann] Lbtcl:a brand new hash rate trading platform!!! on: January 26, 2016, 03:36:06 AM
Sounds interesting and quite reasonable. I expect they can get the platform working soon enough. In the meanwhile, best thing is stay tuned to this forums for further announcements?
1048  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: List of most rentable faucet I've met - Regular update on: January 25, 2016, 10:58:51 PM
Good list neighbour (I am from Spain). There were a few ones I did not know previously. Thanks also for taking the time to update it, it is not easy to maintain a list of faucets as there are lots of them that come and go.
1049  Economy / Exchanges / Re: itBit and Xapo on: January 25, 2016, 07:51:58 PM
I like xapo a lot. It works well, has some good features (direct paying faucets, games, shop) and is free to use. Only think that pisses me off a little is the demand to use second factor authentication even if you don't want to. I went to live in other country and now I cannot access my old account as it requires for me to receive an sms on my phone to enter or to use a second factor App that stopped working on my old iphone 4. Made a new account and solved the problem (the first one just have some satoshis), but even that way I am forced to use second factor.

Other than that, very good as I say.
1050  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Wheel of bitcoins mobile app don't work error 22 on: January 25, 2016, 07:45:41 PM
Probably your ip was flagged as proxy for whatever reason, or the implementation to detect proxies in the app is not correctly coded. Who knows. By the way, great faucet/app I wish there were more like that for iOS
1051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade safely? on: January 25, 2016, 02:37:09 PM
How to trust to legendary member?
How much is his trust worth?
I mean he won't scame you for 0.005btc but maybe for 20 btcs?

Good point. Safety is increased by the member's trust or reputation, but is decreased by the ammount traded. In other words: Safety=trust/ammount.

I would prefer to trade in small chunks if possible (you send me some coins, I send you some, then you send me some more etc.) but sometimes there are indivisible items.
1052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Art of Trading BTC to ALT Coins-Share your Experience for Noob on: January 25, 2016, 02:31:53 PM
Perhaps what I am going to say is too basic, but it has helped me a lot: Patience in trading is quite important. You can get better buying and selling prices by waiting a bit, and not just dumping to the bid price or buying at the ask price.

If you are in a hurry to buy some coin, put an order a little lower than the ask price. If you are in a hurry to sell, put it a little higher than the bid price. If you are not in a hurry, put it still lower or higher.

I would have saved lots of money if I had done that from the beginning. It is hard sometimes, you just want to buy or sell ASAP (and perhaps there are times that you need to) but you will almost always be better if you wait a little.
1053  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: QUESTION? BTCTALK ACCOUNT PRICES SURVEY! OPINION? 5 USD TIP FOR BEST ANSWER on: January 25, 2016, 02:21:14 PM
I would agree mostly with the prices you typed in the original post. As for positive rep on accounts, I think it is quite hard to get and every positive point should be priced an additional 0.05-0.1 BTC. Negative reputation should also lower the price, but perhaps not that much as a negative trust account still has no post limitations etc (i.e. has some value after all).
1054  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best place to spread word of new BTC Business on: January 25, 2016, 02:15:51 PM
Hey everyone,
I recently started a new business(kipplex.com) and after testing the water a bit in the market, we decided to start accepting Bitcoin and will soon be putting in permanent discounts/benefits for those that use Bitcoin over other payment methods.(Paypal, CC, etc.) However we have not seen too much growth lately.  I am trying to figure out some alternative places to advertise paid services to the bitcoin community. Does anyone have some suggestions of where to post?
Thanks in advance!

This forum is a good place to start. Try the services section. Also other things that come to my mind are:

-Offer a signature campaign. Members will advertise you by doing posts, linked to your site in signature.

-Do giveaways/tip on exchanges chats.

-Try posting on zapchain and offer a little BTC reward for asking you questions about your site.

Good luck with it!.
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To remember WHY Litecoin is a good investment on: January 25, 2016, 02:11:31 PM
I like LTC. Good solid honest coin.

I think it also proves that more tech, tricks, and features doesn't automatically mean more value.

^^^^ This! I think Litecoin can thrive if Charlie Lee quit coinbase and work full time again for LTC! Cool

~~

Litecoin, we love you long time! <3

Agreed. And also agree with original poster. Fact is that Litecoin is actually the "silver" coin in Crypto. It's short of like having a more fractionary Bitcoin, and widely used in exchanges by small traders/investors who cannot afford the minimun withdrawal and trade fees of Bitcoin. I feel many people uses them just to transfer Bitcoin more freely, and so if Bitcoin goes up, LTC will likely do the same.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin pump incoming >?? on: January 25, 2016, 02:06:50 PM
I do not know much about markets and all the tech behind the coins, but I have always seen that Litecoin goes up and down following the trend of Bitcon more or less. So if the halving makes BTC go up, it will likely make LTC up too IMO.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Evotion on: January 25, 2016, 02:00:53 PM
I was going to ask just the same thing. Is there any exchange in which this coin can be traded? Not only to dump them, but also to have the possibility to buy some if needed. Many people just can't mine.
1058  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Instant Tading Bot Rental No Download, No Stanby PC - cryptocloudbot.com on: January 25, 2016, 01:55:35 PM
The idea of a trading bot that runs totally unnatended (no need for even a pc to run it) is quite attractive. Are you planning to add any more exchanges? Poloniex is one of the few I do not use.
1059  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] EarnFreeBits [60Minutes] on: January 25, 2016, 01:39:09 PM
Works perfectly for me. Nice, simple and clean faucet. Just put the address in and claim to get a fairly good ammount of satoshis. It will definitely be a good faucet for any rotator. Hope it holds for a long time!.
1060  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A message from a complete bitcoin newbie, a regular, saying hello bitcoin word! on: January 25, 2016, 01:02:01 AM
Wellcome to the Bitcoin world. As you can see, it is not a very quiet one, but still fun, interesting, and open to a lot of possibilities. Hope to see you around here for a long time! Great first post.
