I don't understand why Manchester City didn't retain their champion roster. I think they are making mistakes. It would be a great loss for the team if they send Silva. City is a big club, yes I accept that and they have the financial means to get the player they want, but they already have a champion squad and why are they risking it? I hope they don't make mistakes. A club like City may regret letting their big players go.
Pep Guardiola is famous for not standing in the way of players who express their desire to leave City, if you are unhappy and feel the best decision for you is to leave, the club will sell you to the highest bidder and make money from the move. People criticized Pep when he loaned Joao Cancelo to Bayern Munich mid season, but Pep and City went on to win the treble without him.

City are going to sell more players this summer, Gundogan already left, he wanted a new challenge elsewhere, Mahrez, Bernado Silva, Laporte and Kyle Walker might all leave, and even if they do, City are going to buy the players they can get and still win trophies again next season.
1062  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible to hack a blockchain? on: July 16, 2023, 01:21:32 PM
if you think its not going to be possible why would they tell you try to keep your phrase key safe and private key as well
They tell you to keep your seed phrase and your private keys safe because if it is found by anyone malicious, they will steal your assets, but if that happens it does not mean that the blockchain has been hacked, it is you the user that has been hacked and not the blockchain. If you use BTC, you should worry about your own personal security, because the Bitcoin blockchain is very secure.
1063  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ~For a transaction that takes too long~ on: July 16, 2023, 12:18:36 PM
The extra input does not have to be from the same address, or even the same wallet, as your original inputs.
If one sends this extra input from a different wallet entirely, wouldn't it cause the person to pay too much in fees, because they have to first cover the transaction fees of adding this extra input from a different wallet in order to be able to bump the fee on the original transaction initiated.
1064  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ~For a transaction that takes too long~ on: July 16, 2023, 10:36:42 AM
You should also include that you need to enable RBF when creating the transaction to be able to bump the fee up at a later time.
In electrum RBF is now enabled by default from version 4.4.0, so any user using newer versions from 4.4.0 will have their transactions flagged as RBF even without opting in, and wouldn't be able to opt out of it. Sooner rather than later quite a lot of wallets are also going to enable RBF by default, making it impossible to opt out except one uses an older version.
It's also worth pointing out that full RBF is gradually replacing opt-in RBF, and so soon every transaction will be able to be RBFed, even if not opted in.
Yes and one problem i can see in this is with merchants/services that usually accepts payments of zero confirmation with transactions that are not flagged by RBF.

Liverpool experienced a decline in form because Mane left, as well as when Ronaldo left Manchester United to join Real Madrid.
Good players will definitely be missed by their erstwhile club, but if the team is made up of quality players, their absence will not be felt that much or for a long period of time. Liverpool didn't have a bad season because of Sadio Mane's exit, they had a terrible season because most of their players were in horrendous form and the manager wasn't able to bring the best out of them. I think clubs should always allow their players leave if they say they want to, a football club should not be built around a few players but the entire team.

Leaks say that today there was another round of negotiations between Bayern and Tottenham regarding Kane and there has been no progress as before.
Daniel Levy and Spurs have said unequivocally that Kane isn't for sale, thus i don't think these bids from Bayern Munich is going to yield anything productive, it is extremely difficult to negotiate with Daniel Levy, especially for a player that Spurs do not want to sell, like Kane.

Having said that, i don't even know if Kane would want to move to Bayern Munich, he is 47 goals short of breaking Alan Shearers record as the all time highest goal scorer in the EPL, if Kane leaves for the Bundesliga he'll not be able to break that record, but if he stays in Spurs or joins another English team, he will break the record after 2 seasons or so. The only way Kane can leave Spurs is if he forces a move out of the club, if he doesn't, then he is content with just breaking goal scoring records and not winning titles.

Is it that Juventus saw something that we ain't seeing? I think Juventus feel he has nothing in him anymore, like he's not the same player he use to be when he first came to Italy from UTD, well I think if he leaves Juve now he can do better anywhere he finds him self, he still have a lot to offer.
Juventus would absolutely regret resigning Paul Pogba from Manchester United. Pogba has played for only two clubs in his senior career (Manchester United and Juventus) in two different spells each, the only time Paul Pogba performed well was during his first spell at Juventus (2012-2016), his first spell at Manchester United was very short and he was very young.

Having said that, when Pogba returned to United in 2016, he never lived up to expectation, and the club sold him back to Juve last year, and he has been injured ever since then. Juventus must be tired with the whole Pogba situation, he is already 30, and the best option might be to sell him and take his name off their payroll.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wBTC and BTC on: July 13, 2023, 08:07:48 PM
The point is, i didn't knew that WBTC was altcoin, I am being honest here. So, dear OP i have suggestion that you should then stick to the WBTC.
Now that you know Wrapped Bitcoin is fake and not Bitcoin, so it can be depegged and the people holding it will lose their real Bitcoins they deposited to receive Wrappped Bitcoins, why then should OP stick with them? There are enough good wallets to store Bitcoins, and if one wants to use a different blockchain, they should use their native tokens/coins and not risk their Bitcoins by wrapping it to become compatible.
1070  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: See Binance laughable tweet, but deceiving newbies on: July 13, 2023, 07:23:00 PM
I've read some articles there and they do state from time to time that if users want custody of their assets, they should do so with a user owned wallet.
I have not read any articles on Binance academy and i can't really comment on this, but even if they said the above (which everyone already knows), CZ also said a couple of months ago that 99% of people will lose their crypto stored in non-custodial wallets, so it is more like them saying non-custodial wallets will give you custody of your assets, but you will lose it, so bring them to us.
Since the inception, Binance have had a net positive impact in the crypto industry. Until DeFi and other decentralized infrastructure of crypto is built and secure, the services of centralized entities like Binance would continue to prevail.
They provide a service for people using cryptocurrencies so they might not be entirely bad, but binance is trying to be too powerful/influential in the crypto industry and that is not needed, their quest to achieve this has also made them do too many questionable and sketchy things to say they've had a net positive impact.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 12, 2023, 10:38:04 PM
The Mbappe scenario is dicey; reports says Real Madrid will rather wait an extra year, get Mbappe on free transfer and give him a bumper sign on contract.
Of course, who wouldn't want to get Mbappe for free; that's an absolute no-brainer, but PSG would definitely never let that to happen, and they have unequivocally said that to Mbappe, if he tries to be stubborn, then i can see a 'war' breaking out between Mbappe and PSG. Real Madrid are the winners here, they are sure Mbappe is coming to their club, now they have to wait to see how it all unfolds, either they buy him for a fair amount since PSG are trying to do away with him (if he doesn't extend his contract), or they just wait and take him for free, they are the winners here.
1072  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I waste bitcoin on: July 12, 2023, 10:18:42 PM
Never, ever allow anyone to create a crypto wallet for you
Quite rightly one should never create a wallet by proxy, it is risky and stupid, but OP never created such a wallet, i wouldn't be surprised if they have never created a crypto wallet before or ever written down a seed phrase. It is as clear as daylight that this story is bullshit and it wouldn't be deleted as spam only because OP somehow manages to stay on-topic (which is quite easy to do). All of these fabricated stories are so unnecessary and isn't the right way for someone to learn about Bitcoin or to earn merits. OP, please lock this thread.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 12, 2023, 09:36:22 PM
Celsea should be challenging for the title next season and that's how they can get back the honor of the club. Chelsea isn't known for how they ended last season, they're known for winning. We aren't over expecting them to win the race but they should be in the conversation and be challenging other top clubs.
I don't think Chelsea will be competing for the EPL title next season, they have a lot of ground to cover before they can challenge for the EPL title again, they have a new manager, too many new players that are yet to adapt, and a 'new' hierarchy at the club that's yet to understand how football works (i consider Todd Boehly to be clueless about the beautiful game). Thus, next season Chelsea will be in the race for a top four finish, and if they can add one of the domestic cups to it (either the FA Cup or Carabao cup), then it would be a good first season for Pochettino.
1074  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigerian crypto tax move is ‘premature’ — Local stakeholders on: July 11, 2023, 10:24:54 PM
Our problem for this country just circle round the former CBN governor, dat guy was a cancer in our economy.
Godwin Emefiele suppose be one of the worst CBN governors wey we don get for our history, the guy no just try at all, any policy wey him bring na regressive one, e no get any policy wey CBN make under Governor Emefiele wey dey progressive, the guy mess our economy up no be small, you no see say Nigerians dey happy as DSS carry the man, the man matter tire everybody.
Nigeria regulators just need something to be done, especially about making those exchanges to register in Nigeria and be taxed.
Dem no really understand wetin dem dey do and they no wan seek expert advice, wetin i find out be say our regulators no really understand crypto and the benefit wey the country fit gain from am.
1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 11, 2023, 08:57:54 PM
Ten Hag might not even have him in his primary plans for the team. Is Maguire just going to be a third-choice defender? Thats quite a fall from grace, isnt it?
If Harry Maguire doesn't leave Manchester United this summer, then he is prolly not serious with his career or he is just content with sitting on the bench and contributing nothing. I am always of the belief that when a player is struggling in a team for many years, it is in their best interest to leave, either on loan or permanently, in order to save their career. It is basically obvious that Maguire isn't going to be in the manager's plans next season, thus he better leaves or spend all of the season on the bench.
1076  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: You Can now convert dollar to Naira in your GTB Internet banking platform on: July 11, 2023, 02:20:23 PM
Dem no go fit convert naira to dollar because e no go favor them and dey no even get enough dollars in reserve to dey run am like that, but as dem dey convert from dollar to naira e favor dem because dem go still go sell the dollar in another 'market' and dem go dey grow their dollar reserves.

I no really see wetin dem do as too much of a big deal because dem get sufficient Naira reserve, so dey will be happy to collect your dollars and give you Naira. This offer sev no be for the average Nigerian wey wan make profit from him dollars, because i dey sure say this bank no go dey buy at attractive rate, this offer go be for big business people wey go want the comfort, safety and accountability of using the bank to run this transaction.
1077  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know an account has been blacklisted or put on ignored. on: July 11, 2023, 01:47:59 PM
1. Won't buy Bitcoin through the dark web.

2. Buy Bitcoin from exchanges, since we can't instantly tell who stole his Bitcoin to sell to other

3. Don't steal from people, some are smarter and they can monitor your address for years, you will one day be caught, everyone always leave footprint on the web most times, there must be one time you passed KYC before, that could be what will give your identity away.

4. Don't bother trying to know if an address is blacklisted, people who do things wrongfully online or illegal in their lives are left to be worried about such type of question, ask yourself, are you a criminal? An bad hacker? Or a scammer? If you are not one of these do not worry.
For Christ's sake did you read the same thread as all of us? I don't think so because this topic doesn't have a thing to do with Bitcoin, addresses or all the other things you've just posted about, it is more of a "how can i earn more merits thread".
To the OP: you cannot know the users that have you on their ignore list (if any), but if i were you i'd not worry about that. Post on things that you know about, and read widely on the forum to learn about the things that you don't know; sooner or later you'd earn some merits. OR you can post in merit giveaway threads if you feel you are not getting the recognition that you deserve.
1078  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about paper wallets on: July 11, 2023, 12:59:44 PM
Transaction fee is expensive usually because of high price of Bitcoin and high fee rate.
Transaction fee is never expensive or cheap because of the price of Bitcoin, the inputs and outputs you have on a particular address is what ascertains the transaction fee that you will pay. If the mempool is also clogged it will increase the transaction fee you have to pay for fast transaction confirmation.
Transaction fees are always adjustable too, you don't have to pay what your Bitcoin wallet is asking you, always use mempool to check the lowest amount fee you can pay.
And run the risk of waiting for days/weeks for confirmation, or it may never even be confirmed and will be dropped out of the mempool if it is clogged.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 11, 2023, 12:36:21 PM
I think we can say that the transfer of Nkunku is a good transfer for them.I hope he plays successful football at Chelsea.I think he should buy players like Nkunku and if he can do it cheaper, it can be an incredible gain for Chelsea at the end of the day.
I don't know if Chelsea intends to get another striker, Aubameyang is definitely going to leave the club, Havertz has already left for Arsenal and Broja is out with an ACL injury, that leaves Chelsea with Nkunku as their only striker. Nkunku is good enough to lead the line for Chelsea, but they need at least another striker, but the thing is, are they going to get a quality striker for a high amount of money that will compete with Nkunku for a starting place in the team or do they just buy a makeshift striker.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 11, 2023, 11:40:07 AM
I hope klopp deploy Trent Alexandre Arnold in his new role for the English team i.e playing as an attacking midfielder instead of his usual right back in Liverpool, Southgate had tested him in that role and he proved effective in the their last matches, it's up for Klopp to rejig his midfielders with the inclusion of Trent Alexandre Arnold
Klopp was the first to deploy Arnold in midfield (before Gareth Southgate did it), and that was towards the end of last season, and tbh Arnold looked more comfortable in that role for Liverpool, and then for England a couple of weeks later. Arnold had a season to forget at right back last season, it was so easy for just any player to dribble past him (sometimes effortlessly) and his recovery was so poor.

Having said that, i don't know if Klopp is going to start the season with Arnold in midfield, and if he does that who is going to replace him at right back for Liverpool. Well it is up to the manager to decide, he will have pre-season and the first few weeks of the new season to try out new things and see which one works out for the team and the player.
